Carestaker's - Hybrid LED / HPS Powered 4x4 - Various Strains

Your Panama is frostier than mine was at that stage, CS. :thumb:

She's still pumping out pistils - sheesh, what a beast!

Thank you kindly GT! She was your idea, and a good one, haha! :thanks:
If I got it right, I think she's the 'white' pheno, and that you had one of the two purple phenos... from what I gathered from that different place :rasta:. I just looked at her, and a good chunk of her trichs are cloudy, so she might finish in less than 75....let's hope! In size and shape, she reminds me of Spicy White Devil. She's just a lot thinner, and a bit more elegant, and hopefully she'll weigh in respectably. :cheertwo: I'll be happy either way though. I think she's going to make some incredible smoke no matter if she fills 4 jars, or 8......:smokin: but I'd rather have 8. :high-five: for the Reps bro!

Yeah everything is looking all around incredible. :cheertwo:

That Panama is a Jaw-Dropper. Jeez!

:thanks: Thank you Les, glad you like them! Thanks for the Reps too! :circle-of-love: She really is a special one. I could see running a tent full of her. She's smelling like sugar lemon candy, and underground funk. Some background pepper and skunk maybe. Her branches are strong, but I'm tying them up now, as her tops are drifting. You'd love this one Les, for indoor at least. She's no good outdoor, I hear. :Namaste:

Looking great Carestaker, question if I may? Do you feel that the 600w HPS is doing a good job for you? And do you think a 600w is good enough for a 5'X5' tent or do you think you would want a 1000w HPS?

Hey 60, anytime my friend! I am a huge fan of LED, but I do also love my HPS, for what it can do. My tent is 4.6ft X 4.6ft, so smaller than 5x5. The 600w won't cover it, with the penetration and spectra that I want, so I run the LED as well. If I using only HPS, in my tent, I would go with a dimmable 1000w, just to make sure I could cover, and still have the ability to dim it to 750w/500w, for fewer plants, and/or hotter months. I'm running 800w right now in the 4.6ft square, which is almost the equivalent to a 1K light. If you are shopping - for HPS, I am really liking the new Solis Tek HPS bulb, over the Ushio. Less heat too.

I think I'm in love!

:cheertwo: Me too man, she's like a saucy siren, calling me to tend to her...
She adds a bit of magic, and wonder, to my somewhat misanthropic view - grounding me a bit. On many levels, a gift of life. :peace::Namaste: Your girls are so close, and they look outstanding!!

I know I could grow that Panama outdoors! :surf:

Depending on how your grow turns out I may order some for next year :) :cheertwo:

Thanks carestaker. I'm going to start with MH & HPS until I know what the law makers (here in Wa. St.) are going to do to our MMJ laws. If they don't screw our laws up than I will make the transition to LED and maybe by then they will cost less in green backs.

I don't doubt you for a second, that would be an awesome sight to see :surf:
There's a huge pile of info out there, where the breeder writes directly about the phenos etc -- It's not hard to find, but I can send a link. A cross with KC, might also be interesting....Brazil, Columbia, Panama, oh my :) If the KC's are not expressing much, if any of the Ruderalis now, it would stand to reason that with another tropical sativa in the mix, there would be even less. Plus you'd get the shade friendly, outdoor friendly, aspects of the KC, to balance the Panama's adaptation to indoor. Just a thought. :high-five:

That's a sounds like a good plan. I had a 2 foot plant and some CFL's, before I had a tent to put it in. :)
You're going to love it, so fulfilling. :cheertwo::peace:

I have been perpetual for ~18 months I think, and have a break coming up. I'll strip it all down, clean it, put it back up, and start over again. It will be good to have a small break. I'll have one week off. I'm hoping that Panama will be done by the time I have to go on vacation, but if not, I'll let her ride as long as she needs, and will have someone tend her while I'm gone. You should see the instructions I leave...:biglaugh: like an Ikea closet.

Just a cautionary note - my Panama pheno hermies at the finish - not a good plant to leave unsupervised.

dam. Well, she's got a little over 40 days, so 77 days...or 11 weeks. I pull on the early side of ripe...she'll be good I hope.

Added:! I won't have any other plants in the tent, she will be the last.....so no herm, no foul. :thumb:

A break is always nice. Where ya headed during break?

A small isle in the Caribbean :circle-of-love:... sand, snorkels, sugary beaches, some decent nightlife. I'll try to remember how to read a book and speak the local language. We've been to this place before, so we're going to tear up the island, and then sleep it off for a few days. We know how to have fun, and I'll brink bail money just in case. :cheertwo:

Anyone have any a napkin I has a mess to clean up....LOL.

Jus passin thru Care. Looking yummy as always....

Thanks Renegade! Good to have you pass through brother. :high-five:

I'll send the butler over for that mess...maybe a hot towel and some super lemon haze!

I wanted to correct some info.
Panama IS good for outdoor growing, what I posted was incorrect. I don't know which strain I was thinking of. :lot-o-toke: no idea.

Strawblue is looking top notch, and is growing the biggest buds I've ever had
Cotton Candy is fading, and filling in, pretty huge buds for her too
Panama is looking tight, and is slowly filling out - just beautiful
CocoSkunk, has some defic, but looks like she will swell and be a decent, but not great, giver
DirtySkunk, the forgotten little girl in the corner, is super healthy, not a blemish....go figure. ;)
FruitPunch, the little moppet, is about a foot high, and is making little buds...she looks like a nice plant to run full sized.

I'll update with some pics. Peace and Love! :peace::Namaste:

Yeah I could tell with how the Panama was putting out flowers that it would be a major thriver over here. Compact but not super tight. Nice elongated and skinnier buds that get better airflow. Less chances of bud rot. I bet it has its fair share of "funk" as you described!

I've got my eye on that one!

And of course all your other plants are just fantastic. That goes without saying :)

Cheers CS :high-five:

Thanks BAR!! Back atcha, :thumb: you got some lookers yourself going on.... :high-five: ... can't wait to see your next round!

:high-five: Glad to hear! Thanks for the insight into how you select them! She's not like anything else that I've grown. The breeders say that they are somewhere around f7 with her, from my last reading, so she's stable, and a bit open. I really like that in a plant, as I try to work with them, to let them be what they will. Fems are bred toward the Red pheno, Regs are more 'open', with green being a good percentage. Still not sure which I have, but she's smelling of incense, and get this - Country Time Lemonade crystals. Not the actual lemonade, just the crystals. Then there's some pepper, floral, and skunky funk on the way down low. It's so enticing, that I've taken to 'nuzzling' her to enjoy the terps, when I open the door to the tent. I put my face in first, and stick my nose right up against the tops, rustling them a bit - and then a deep inhale. I've never done this before, but it's now a happy habit. :) I gotta get my fill - lights on at 420pm. :circle-of-love: Best to you Les!
