Carestaker's Chemdawg Crosses In Soil & Coco - 2016

Hey Carestaker! :ciao:

Last years Blue Dream looks so lush compared to my girls :rofl:

Watching and learning :popcorn:

Hey B! :ciao:It's a great strain, without doubt. Indoors, it's so much easier to keep them looking nice. I kept that run spotless too, as I was posting them every week. If not, I'd have been a bit more aggressive with them, as they really love it. It's like exercise for them. Maybe what I'll do this round is - walk the middle line. I'll train them slightly more, and in bigger pots, and add in the coco to my mix, and just let that be enough 'new stuff' for the time being. :Namaste: That should help assure that not too many things are changing where I miss something, and I'll be able to post it all step by step, like a recipe - but with the methods as well.

This will be fun! :cheer:

High drcannabi, I just received my third Med card, the legal guys in my Dr. office showed me the July 1st law. If you have a MMJ card and choose not to be on the registry you can grow 4 plants and have 6oz of usable flower, if you have a MMJ card and choose to register you can grow up to 15 plants and have 16oz of usable flower plus CCO and edibles (not sure of those amounts without looking it up) I thought Wa. St. was going to screw it up but I think it turned out okay for medical card holders. But I don't think it's legal to grow Cannabis without a Medical card.

:love::cco::love:

Thank you RSOiler! They explained the same thing to me. I'm not going to add myself to the knock knock registry LOL. I guess I'm still paranoid from the 90's when a few of my friends went to prison for cultivation. I trust the government less than I do a crack dealer hehehe. I've been paying into social security my whole life and the stole the whole pot. I'm afraid of the day they decide to make an example of someone.

I really appreciate the your post but this old SOB is pretty jaded at this point. I need to start meditating again lol! :circle-of-love:

Really nice work on that last grow, can't wait to see what's next.

I'm not sure how everyone feels about Google-Tube, so I'm just going to write some stuff too.
The update was about 1G to upload, it's taking forevs.

ECSDH was a large seed, she broke soil first Born 2/11/16
ChemD-Cookies was second, good vigor Born 2/11/16
Bubba's Gift was third, good vigor Born 2/12/16
SSSDH was fourth, and was a bit slow Born 2/13/2016
EC-Cookies, germed, put out a little tap, and then stalled :rip:

I'll be dropping a seed of Liberty Haze (Chem91 x G13) to have a backup, and I have a few cuttings of 707 Truthband that may make the cut if something looks like it's not going to grow well. There first three seedlings look great, and it remains to be seen with the SSSDH. I'm pretty disappointed that I lost one, although it's not a huge deal. I just need to remember to not rush. I'm also very disappointed in the quality of the soil I got. It was fresh bag from a one-day-prior delivery from FoxFarm, and it was overly dry, and was more bark than peat. I think I might be done with FF, so it's very likely that this run will be in a Roots soil, and Royal coco blend :volcano-smiley:

Here's a video of me talking (with a cold) about seedlings, soil and watering. I don't plan on many videos, but I might post a few more, if they are helpful. I don't get to riff on here like I would IRL, so there's just so much more you can put into it. :Namaste: I made a solid attempt at keeping my Boston "it's a beeby wheel" accent in check. :)

Me too man. :high-five: At minimum, we should see some good sized plants. Pots will be bigger, and Veg will be longer than my norms. More light too. 600w HPS, and up to 570w of LED if I just put the 2 new panels in.

I should have called the start of the journal - How to Kill Seedlings 101. Oh well, I was pushing it, and it usually works for me. Anyway, I'll update as I move them along. So that I don't kill any of them, I'll germ them in a paper towel, put that in a baggie, and then drop them in soil after they get taproots. I'll do what I should have done in the first place, and I'll spread the soil out, and mist it to get it to where it needs to be. Then I'll just water them in, and leave them till the cup is dry.

Peace and pot to everyone today. Having a 'Green Ribbon' lozenge ;) and smoking and vaping tonight. :volcano-smiley:

Good start CareStaker. Most like/love FFOF but I quit the stuff years ago. I started finding some non-soil debris & waste in it & overall it was too "heavy" for even outdoor use. I never looked back as there are imo superior mixes available. You'll like the Royal Gold Basement if you're still thinking of trying it. Great update....nicely done! :thumb::Namaste:

-20C!!! Pardon my french, but f#ck me, that is cold!

It went a bit lower too. Hard to even find a good place to Veg in the house, as it's a 100 year old building, and the inside walls are cold to the touch, and the floor too. I've got a seedling mat, but I had to dig it out of storage, and I was a little late with it. Crazy really - we had 65F (18C) weather last week. Ah, New England. :)

Hi Brother Staker,

Can't believe what problems some of you experts can overcome. What about a CFL in a dresser drawer? Should warm up quite nicely. Just don't put it in the undies drawer, might be too much nitrogen. lol :rofl:

You're totally right, and I really don't know why I waiting so long to move on. I'm going to go with the Roots, and will be amending with about 25% - 30% of the Basement Mix, adding some structure and minerals. I plan on keeping my watering more to a soil type of schedule. So far things look good. SSSDH didn't make it my friend. :rip: I'll run her somehow soon. :Namaste: Strawberry Sour D, and a Buddah Tahoe going, and I have a cut of 707TB if needed. It's a lot of Chems, I can't wait to smell it all. :yummy: Seedlings look great though, they are moving along nicely.

Nice video CS :ciao::thumb:

Thanks B! Good to hear, so I'll add them in occasionally. The video is so much easier than photos, but I like the photos more. Can't wait to have some beauties to stalk with the cell phone. :slide::laughtwo:

Dude, there's too much of everything in there, you can't even - with that CFL. :passitleft: It's not so bad really, but we should be past it soon. I've got the mat going under a glass baking pan, with CFL's on top to keep them warm. I just wasn't expecting it to be this bad, it's hella cold up here.

Plants are looking good. I'll get some photos up soon. I love watching them. Even the seedlings. I think that you can tell a lot about how they want to grow, just by watching how they build themselves over those first few days.

I hear you brother! Space is very hard to come by. Can't wait to see this grow. I have never grown chem before, so your grow and journal is VERY IMPORTANT Brother! I'm really looking forward to this my friend! :circle-of-love:

:circle-of-love:Thanks for the support brother. :Namaste: I'm pretty excited to see what pops up, and what phenos come out. ChemD-Cookies should be something to see, and smell, I think. ECSDH, is sure to be an elegant beauty. We will see what they like, I haven't flowered any of these crosses yet. Should be fun though. :high-five:

Ah, but you have. Chem #4 to be exact. Mixed with a little lemon thai and pakistani.
