Carestaker's Chemdawg Crosses In Soil & Coco - 2016

Looking Good!!!!:thumb:

Thanks Justa, hoping for a nice finish! :Namaste:

Good morning Care..:). Your garden is looking beautiful and happy...:circle-of-love:

Good Evening D. ;) They are pretty happy. Pretty consistently high RH of late is probably stressing them a little, they want to build flowers in the dryer times I feel - and I've got a couple of nanners to snip tonight while I take the next round of pics.

Snowing in the NE in June! Excellent gardening. ECSDH's "cousin" SSSDH also listed at 10-12 wks., but recent SSSDH was thoroughly done at 61 days, which was a surprise. The genetics tell me early window best for both.:circle-of-love: :goodjob:

:thanks:BL. I'm glad you mentioned it, I'll start watching her a little differently. I pulled ECSDH#1 at around 10, and she seemed pretty done. The clone takes 12 easy, and this one looks like the clone, so I really have no idea of when she'll be done, early or late. She's already strong/potent, so she could be on the fast side too. I'll just have to sample more. ;) I'mma gonna pull a branch when I take her out today.

I just got home from an endurance event, and I gotta shower and eat - pics soon thereafter :)

Yeah, I passed out. :volcano-smiley:

The SSD is next. She's got amazing production and vigor. I hope the clone does as well. Easy plant, and she's got her first H2O-molasses feed last night, she's in flush to be pulled. Only complaint she had was that she did get a little tip on her during week 5 peak feeding. I dialed her back as was the plan anyway. She's starting to purple up despite the heat. She's got that ammonia smell coming back on, but it's more piney than it was prior. Slight cat urine smell, wtih some pine sharpness. I think that she should slow up her drinking, and develop this smell further and fuller. I'm planning on pulling in 12-16 days, watching trichs, color, stigmas, smells etc.

These were from Day 45 Flower

Beyond frosty into crusty range! Superb CS.

Thank you BL! She's testing well too. She should finish soon, so one more push mabye :cheertwo:

DAY 45 Flower ECSDH

She's got a little taco trend going for the very top leafs, which could be a few things, likely a bit of heat, too much light, and too little Mg - or all at once. If anyone has any input don't be afraid to share - I believe that some strains just kinda do this too. She's week 7/8 so that is pretty acceptable imo, and I'll just finish her out without making changes unless it speeds up. Other than that, she's looking great. In the tent she looks white and green, much like ChemD. The hope is that she swells over the next 3-4 weeks, and develops that swollen calyx and fat-top look. Smoke is very promising on this pheno so far. Her buds are looking more Hazy than they did initially, and the little leafs don't curl the same way, but the size and shape are closer to the clone, than the last pheno. Looks like I'll have some testing, hunting, and more testing to do. :)

Peace and love - sorry it took so long to get these posted!

Magnificent as always. I was on Cola Monsters journal yesterday, and noticed that his plants have a similar "look" to yours. I agree that the SSD is approaching the finish line. She looks delicious.

Cola grows some fine plants, so that's not a hard thing to hear haha. :high-five:

Yeah, she's got that dark thing going on. Guessing she's going to go in the next 10 days or so, her colas are getting monstrous - I think she's still swelling.

The smoke is strong on her too. She's fast as hell, thick, vigorous and should exceed 5 zips in the 5gal in mostly soil. In straight coco, she should do a good better. Taste was above average before her smell changed, and I'm hoping it comes back in the dry down. She doesn't even eat that much. You might want to give this one a look. :)

Thanks for the info bud. I have added Strawberry Diesel from Holy Smoke to my basket on Bonza. Want to support a fellow South African, and it looks legit. It was this journal that inspired that choice though. Also chose Bubblegum Hash Plant from the same breeder. It is Serious Seeds Bubblegum x Topdawg Guava 13. Sounds delicious.

That sounds like it could be great as well, although I haven't seen many plants yield like this. This specific (SSD) Strawberry Sour Diesel, is by Devil's Harvest.

I just checked and apparently, it isn't the Kushman pheno, but a pheno found at DP.

"...Strawberry Sour Diesel Feminized is a fierce fusion between a male Sour Diesel and a unique phenotype of a Strawberry Cough female from Dutch Passion Seeds."

BubblegumHPsounds like a winner too. ASE my friend, always! :high-five::Namaste:

I was actually very tempted to go for the SSD from Devils Harvest. It was just the support for a countryman that swayed me in that direction. Also, Holy Smoke have some very interesting strains. So I want to test them out for that reason as well. They use the kyle kushman pheno of strawberry cough for their SD.

ASE??? Anglo-saxon elitist?? LOL! Found that definition on urban dictionary.

I've never heard of them, I'll check it out. :thanks:

Acute Strain Envy, we all got it bro. Meetings are on Sunday, I'll save you a seat :welcome:

Proper gardening my bro. Sweet sticky plants oh yeah.
got me a cheesecake up.;)
happy daze.

Thanks brother, it's a grease factory no doubt. :) After these harvests, I have to shut down for a family visit, and then I'm dropping the Cake, and SSSDH looking for a male :high-five: After that I have some other new beans to try. ASE man haha. It works the same for cuts - I'm wanting ever elite I hear about!

Some Trich shots of SSD. She's just about ready. She's still got more clear than amber, so I should be good for a pull in about 7 days, which would be about 56 days flower.

Tahoe below, still not close

ChemDookies still needs more time, but great density.

I'm sampling like crazy, there may be some buds left to weigh at the end. :) :volcano-smiley:

ASE... LOL! Ok, got it, and yes I have it bad. I'm so excited to try new strains, but the seeds have barely popped and I'm already planning my next grow.

Here, let me list my next purchase for you:

Shit, my cart is empty. :laughtwo: It obviously doesn't save it. Let me see if I can remember...

- Strawberry Diesel (Holy Smoke Seeds)
- Bubblegum Hash Plant (Holy Smoke Seeds)
- Blue Dream (HSO my fiancee chose this strain. She smokes more than I do)
- Liberty Haze (Barneys Farm)
- Vanilla Kush (Barneys Farm)
- Buddha Tahoe (Big Buddha)
- Lemon Skunk (DNA Genetics)
- White Walker Kush (DNA Genetics)
- Rocklock (DNA Genetics)

I feel like I'm missing something, but that list might change before I purchase in a month. Can you tell I have it bad?

Hey there CareStaker! Wow I'm gone for week and your garden blew up. Looking SO amazing with the frost show and the beautiful green. The Tahoe pic is blurry but I think the forecast is calling for a lot of snow in Tahoe lol!

I love sampling too lol! we do it the same way. If I didn't sample the way I do I'd pull at least another zip per plant hehehe! Very impressed with your skills brother!

Welcome back Doc! Good to have you here, you're way too kind. I don't get why people don't sample, it's so much fun. I think we might get some of what we sample, back as increased growth up top but even if not, it's for science too. ;)

Tahoe is a frikken beast. She's making some big ass sticky colas, and swelling - she should yield real well and be super frosty. Like some of the parent Chem genetics, this plant doesn't trich-up much on her leafs, just the flowers themselves. I've seen other versions or phenos that did. I'm keeping a clone anyway, I think she could even be my high yielder, that's crazy. I don't mind that the trichs on the leafs look like a 13 year old boys' mustache. :)

Sampling right now. ChemDcookies is super nice, and she's got two more weeks. The initial effects remind me more of the ECSD than the ECSDH does - you can feel the mix of contentedness and euphoria simultaneously without any body or mind drag - just a bit of UP. After a good while there's a trend toward the indica side, which then becomes it's own nice kind of thing, so more for night than day, but pretty nice smoke already. I'll update on them all. Peace and love yall.:Namaste:

Just a little peek at SSD as she gives her last push. She's fading and turning some fall colors. I was planning on going till the 19th with her, but I'm thinking she might get pulled sooner. I gotta really get in there and look at her trichs again, and give her a good sniffing.
She's berry, pine, and cat pee in that order.

Group shot.
SSD: back left, Tahoe: back right
ECSDH: front left, ChemDookies: front right...with the knobby tops.

We're getting close to harvest. So far ChemDookies is the favored smoke, but that most usually changes. Hope all is green in your gardens. :Namaste:

Holy Frosticles, Batman! :thedoubletake:

And it looks like you could use that cola as a weapon! - I wouldn't wanna get smacked with it.
