Monday again! Happy Monday and MLK day!
Update time once again- I'm down to one plant now,since the BS4xCheese ended up
being a male....
So this is what I've got right now-looks pretty lonely in there all by itself...
This one is from a LowRyder#2xNorthern Lights/Afghani cross that I did back at the end of 2016,
so it's from a regular seed,which means it may also prove to be a male...but it hasn't shown sex yet,so it's a female until it proves me wrong...
She's still real short- the quad training helps keep her that way till the flip,which probably isn't very far away- the last photos I grew got flipped at day 29,and this one is 23 days old today....I'll probably wait a little longer for this one,like day 35 or so, since I've got twice as much room in there with only the one plant...
She was topped above the third node on the 11th, and the quad training started on the 15th.
She's got some stout branches, and keeps pulling the tiedowns out of the soil,so I'm going to have to
figure a more secure way of holding them down- that'll probably involve bamboo skewers and hot glue
or ductape (there's not much you can't do with hot glue and/or ductape
)
Here's a look at the quad structure-hard to get a good look- this thing has some of the fattest leaves I've seen...I've already removed a few that were blocking light to the up and coming branches...it looked more like a cabbage before I plucked those leaves
She's starting to grow pretty fast-those fat fanleaves are supplying plenty of energy for growth...
Fed 4.5g of mega crop yesterday morning-she was a little pale- and she's already getting a little darker green...
That's about all for her...so where'd that male go,you ask?...even if you didn't ask,I'm going to tell you....
Funny thing...I was going to just stick him in the greenwaste, but I suggested to Mrs.C. that we sit him in the living room as a houseplant ( I was perusing
@shottafire 's journal,and saw his "houseplant"-Thanks,shotta!
)
She said "fine,as long as it doesn't stink"...(he does stink a little when he's thirsty,but I'll keep him watered)
He won't do very well in there-not much direct sun in that room...but he looks alright so far-
It's a shame he's a he, because he was taking to the training very well.
And that's about all I've got for today...
Should have some good growth on the one in the box by next week-might even be able to tell what sex it is by then....surely it'll be a girl...
Not necessarily....and stop calling me shirley....
Thanks for looking, I appreciate the support !
And I hope everyone has a great week !
