Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

Thanks Cass. I didnt want to have too many different things going on so went with 4 strains and ended up with 3 of each. lpl Fast buds generously sponsored ( hope not using wrong words here!) the seeds after journals I have elsewhere too. got lucky with them really. I am enjoying them Immensely which I didnt expect for some reason.lol seeing the quads of autos gave me the push to go for it with a crop. works out really well as I can use the 18 light hours to start the fast buds , fast flowering testers and a couple of other breeders donated strains alongside the flowering girls . My only negative for autos is the full time 18 hours ,so best get the use I can while they are on. lol

Monday update time!
Nothing growing yet...as usual, I'm having trouble coaxing anything out of the ground...
I've either killed 2 seeds,or they were just duds to begin with...either way,I'm down to my last auto seed,Which did pop out a taproot..it's in the solo cup now,should know more by Wednesday or so...

So the GDPxGB was dry enough to jar up today- I weighed it before it went into the jars:

6.1oz on the postage scale (zeroed for the pan)...I also confirmed the weight on my gram scale,which will only weigh up to 50g at a time- came up with 171.3g,so the postage scale is accurate.
Had to go get a few big jars at the dollar store (yes,I waited till the last minute),but here is
what I ended up with:

That's about it for this auto grow -6.1 oz for the G2a,and 5.2 oz for the Purple Punch,
so 11.3oz total...I'm happy with that!
I'll update a little later on in the week if anything sprouts...if that last seed doesn't pop
that would mean that out of the 8 auto seeds I had,2 sprouted...so I'm either a serial seed killer,or I got some bunk seeds, or a little of both...
Not to worry-I've still got some photo NLfem seeds leftover,plus some CheesexBagseed#3 seeds that I made,so I'll have something growing before the end of the year...probably :)

Well,thanks for looking ,and thanks for following along with this grow-I found out that I really like autos,so there'll be some more of them in the future, even if that last seed is a dud..

I appreciate your support -you all make 420 the great place that it is!

brilliant finish now Cass. buds look nice and colourful too. you can see the goey looknfo them too. very envious here Cass. nice job. good luck with the last beans. will keep my fingers crossed

Thanks,BL! My luck hasn't changed yet...I've actually got about 200 seeds,but all but 2 are bagseeds-so I will get something growing sooner or later-not sure what it'll be,but something!

agree there mate. miserable getting up to no shows. Soaking then a cube is my limit now. I can do the paper towel , plates, cane to do the plate spinning on while I prepare the pots and keep the plate spinning, while the tap root recognises the centrifugal force and emerges with a trumpet sound that if you miss means hells gates open up and another baby dove fries. Damp cube, seed and off. minimum fuss , minimum my monkey fingers breaking tap roots or microscopic root hairs. Some seed casing are very good at their initial directive of keeping them safe. giving them time to allow water in alone can be hard if they are waxy coated by the thc from their pods. look hownwarerproof it is when we was hands after trims. Dont give up hope yet mate. might be upturned and needs to rotate.

My sausage fingers are deadly too...so I try not to touch them at all when going from soak to cup...I know if I tried to use tweezers, I'd just mash them flat-might as well use vice grips on them-I'd get the same result. :)
I'll give this last auto seed plenty of time-there's really no hurry, except in my mind- hate the not knowing,though...

I hear you brother. they like us waiting !!!. Just remember it when it comes to training and punish her accordingly !. still holding my breath for you mate. look like Poppa smurf so I hope its soon !!

I was planning on another G2a,but the seeds aren't cooperating,so my next plant will probably
be something from my bagseed inventory...I found some from a cross I did back in 2016 that I'm going to try- in fact they're soaking/sprouting in water as we speak....I only need one, so of course, they'll both sprout just fine...
 
I too just dunked a bean in the soup! It’s Katsu’s ECSDxPre98 Bubba. I don’t have the space for her.. but I will in just a couple of weeks and I couldn’t wait.
