Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

Thanks, Stone!

I'm only on page 15 and my scrolling finger is killing me. :)
You may need to switch to the "bird" finger for awhile... :high-five:
Perfect use for that pain balm you mentioned a few days ago!
Some internal THC might help till you make the balm...:Rasta:

and....It's Monday again, so it's Update time!

The ATF is doing pretty well- she's slowly going from green to green-ish, but other than that, she's just plugging along ..she's 136 days old, been in the SIP (and the Grow Dots) for 114 days, flipped to 12/12- 84 days ago.
No slowdown in her drinking, and no significant amber trichomes, so she'll be with us for a little longer...
ATF 1.jpg

Here's one side...
ATF 2.jpg

And the other side... (this is her "good"side ;))
Since I started adding the 15ml/gal. of Purpinator, this plant hasn't dropped one leaf... even the ugly ones get to stay..
ATF 2a.jpg

And, a few budshots- still a few white pistils popping out, but not many...there is some foxtailing going on too- some folks don't like them, but all they mean to me is more frosty goodness...
ATF 3a.jpg

and another...
ATF 5.jpg

one more...
ATF 5a.jpg

and, one of her bigger colas...
ATF 10.jpg

Sort of a silhouette shot...
ATF 6.jpg

And, why not conclude with an artsy shot?
ATF twins..
ATF Twins.jpg

And there you have it!
She's taking her time, but I think she's probably worth the wait...
Thank You for looking, I appreciate your support..

Have a great week, may you and your gardens both be thriving!

Looking good Carcass!

And your artsy shot is certainly that! :Rasta:

❤️

Thanks, GDB-I only get to take bud shots 3 times a year, so I figure might as well take a few good ones while I'm at it.. ;)

While I'm here, I forgot to mention the final weight on the Amnesia Haze in my update-
5 oz. even- the buds are airy, probably because she only got about a month of real sun...
Very good sativa-ish weed, though- tastes pretty good pre-cure too..:lot-o-toke:

I got my "stuff' in the mail today- 👀

just ran out yesterday...
CBGD 1.jpg

I've been taking 50mg. of each, twice a day, for about 5 weeks so far, so 10,000mg of each should last awhile -3 months or so...
$70.00 for 3 months of meds ain't bad, and this shit actually has some positive effects, at least in my case.. CBD is a bit heavier than CBG, so it looks like more CBG, but they weigh the same
CBGD2.jpg

in case anyone's interested this is the place to get isolates- they have many, but I only use these 2 for now...
OBX.jpg

After I take it for awhile longer, I'm going to post my observations in case anyone is interested...right now it's all "pro" and no "con" that I can see..

Looking forward to your report. There was another member here using the two in combination for migraines, I believe.

Hmmmm....Different people, different effects..seems to be doing the opposite for me, although falling asleep was my problem, not getting back to sleep after waking...
I hope you get it figured out 👍

I'm interested Carcass! Thanks!

Are you kidding me? Breathtaking buddage bro!

Yes, I've been using a 1:1 tincture that runs about $140/Oz (750 mg each). I dose 1 ml (25 mg each) at the onset of a headache. I think I've taken as much as 3 doses in a day.

Thank you, T.!
As always your grow is brill!

And 5oz, is a yield I dream of.
there was a little more before the bud rot took a bite..😬
I think I've taken as much as 3 doses in a day.
I take it twice a day as a supplement- I'm not really treating any aches and pains with it- not yet, anyway..
.......................................................................

How about a little "why weren't the Grow Dots dissolved in my soil" update?

When I opened the SIP to check the roots on the Amnesia Haze, @InTheShed noticed there were still some green Grow Dots in there- they looked like they hadn't changed since I buried them...

Here's a few I scrounged out of the greenwaste:
They look brand new! ..... but,...
Leftovers.jpg

I squished them, and they're full of water!....🤔
popped.jpg

I mashed a fresh one, and they start out full of dry white powder...apparently, the water and nutrients can permeate the green "shell", but the shell itself remains when the nutes are used up..

So, there's some totally useless info for ya!..

I was just wondering, and now I we know...😁

I was reading on their web site that DOTS release faster the warmer the soil is, so I may have an issue growing outdoors this summer. I'm still gonna try it.

Interesting info. on the Dots Carcass. I'll bet they "melt in your mouth not in your hands."

Excellent info, :thanks: Carcass!
Thanks, Shed!
It is kind of interesting- the Dots are higher tech than I thought they were...
I was reading on their web site that DOTS release faster the warmer the soil is
I read that too when I first started with the Dots- My SIP sits on a seed warmer, and the rez/soil is
kept at a constant 80f, and they seem to work as intended at that temp..

I'll bet they "melt in your mouth not in your hands."
But only if you mash them first... 😁

Oooh-hooo, careful,@GratefulBud It's the same molecules against each other the whole time in a SIP, if any of ém will start changing into other chemicals it's these guys. Chemical bonding is thermobaric... no that's not the word, but heat can do a lot more than just release the food. Just as importantly, the Oxygen level drops at 70f, which is critical, oxygen from the airgap is what makes SIP work. Just a head's up.
