The month of cold and rain we had may have helped to thin the bugs out...although, the first warm day we had, the crane flies (mosquito hawks) mosquitos, and moths were out in force. Seems like they all wanted to be inside the house,too...or maybe it was something to do with the deluge of weather we had over summer, but either way I am not complaining.
Ha! I'm going to get some Extended Release Dots for my next grow, so I don't need to find them yet...FTFY!
@StoneOtter noticed the same thing in his SIP-super strong branches, compared to a "in a pot" grow...And to me, one of the most attractive things about SIPs. I want a plant that will stand on its own!
Thanks, GDB- she does look pretty good in person, but all those leaves that I didn't defoliate hide the buds pretty well...We'll all get to see her naked at harvest time, to see how she really looks...She's a looker to me!
Thanks, Vet!C'est magnifique!
I just sit down and pee like a girl- there ain't no "aiming" happening at 4 in the morning...Aim might be slightly off tho.
That's ridiculous! If you did that, when you returned to bed you'd only fall half asleep!I read somewhere that if you get up in the middle of the night to pee, keep one eye closed. This helps your brain to go back to sleep. Aim might be slightly off tho.
They're nice and full of bud too Carcass!Growing in a SIP makes for some strong branches- nothing is sagging on this girl..not yet, anyway...
Thanks, Stone! They're nice and full of bud too Carcass!
Yeah, they are quite a bit heavier than regular pots- I wouldn't want to have to move 6 or 7 of them around every day...It wouldn’t suit my grow style,
I actually like the process of reading my plants needs.Hi, T!
Yeah, they are quite a bit heavier than regular pots- I wouldn't want to have to move 6 or 7 of them around every day...
Although, if you did grow one in a SIP, it would definitely be a monster!
If you hadn't crossed out the first bit I'd swear you'd plagiarised my CV Tra!I actually like the process of reading my plants needs.
Violently waterboardinggently watering my plants is one of my favourite jobs.
Lolling! If you hadn't crossed out the first bit I'd swear you'd plagiarised my CV Tra!
That one I did gave me the fever Carcass! I'm excited to get my 4 x 4 going with them and get the 3 x 3 too! It's like COWBELL!Thanks, Stone!
Fuller than usual, too- I blame the SIP for that!
I can't see myself going back to using regular pots- today is my 100th day using a SIP, and I have yet to see a downside...stronger branches, easy watering, and bigger plants...what's not to like?
I do too..a SIP just lets you read a little faster..I actually like the process of reading my plants needs.
If you hadn't crossed out the first bit I'd swear you'd plagiarised my CV Tra!
I understand- they're not for everybody- in my case, switching over was easy, since I only grow one at a time, and I don't have to move it around...although, accidentally, I'll occasionally grow two at a time..and have to move one around...SIPS don’t suit my jam.
Happy belated 420 to you, too HH!happy 420 Carcass!
I initially wasn't sure about them, but within a few weeks, I could see that things were going better than usual, and they've kept going better than usual for 104 days now....I’m glad you’re liking the sip system so much.
Makes me wish I had a bigger growspace, so I could run 3 or 4It's like COWBELL!
What happened to the little grow hut you intended to build?Makes me wish I had a bigger growspace, so I could run 3 or 4COWBELLSSIPs!
What are you talking about? I built a shed, and inside that shed Ive rebuilt a room (twice), basically a shed in a shed.I don't think that idea is going to pan out
Nonsense. The only acceptable answer is ' I asked my wife and she said No.'- I'd need to run an a/c in the summer, and a heater all winter...
The initial cost of everything, and the sky high energy bills it would generate are more than I want to spend on a continual basis...
I do see your point though, no matter how cold or warm it gets, the lawnmower doesnt die from it.So, the lawnmower will live in there instead...
No known treatment for that condition unfortunately, so you might as well just embrace it.That one I did gave me the fever Carcass!
