TGIF!
How about a little Friday
Update on these 2 little ladies?
First up is the ATF- she's stretching a bit now, and flowering is going about like it should...
A SaugaView®
She's 70 days old, flipped 13 days ago...fortunately, she's stretching fairly evenly, because I can't go much wider in there..
I found some critters in her runoff on Tuesday (
lots of little "swimmy things") so I added 3ml of Neem oil
to her Wednesday (warm) watering..by Thursday, they were still coming out in the runoff, but they were all dead...This morning the runoff water was clear- I'll add another dose of Neem in a few days to keep the critters away...I'm impressed by how well that shit works!
She's maintaining her canopy pretty well so far...
She's been in her SIP for 47 days now...she was watered from the top 1 time, on transplant day, and since then all her watering has been from the bottom.
And now the Amnesia Haze (not an auto)
She's an odd one...13 days into 12/12, and she's not starting to flower yet- maybe her cold environment
is slowing her flowering down?
She's been in her SIP for 34 days..I didn't find any bugs in the res on this one..(probably too damn cold for 'em...
)
She's real healthy (she's not pale green, the Atreum just makes her look that way) but her growth and development is quite a bit slower than the ATF, who lives in the nice, warm box next door...the only heat this one gets is from a seedling mat and the light.
I haven't had to adjust any of her hooks for 6 days now, because she's growing so slowly...by the end of the day, it only gets up to 60f in the garage (from 45-50f in the morning)
The sun is shining today- if that continues, she'll be going outside soon...although, it's not a helluva lot warmer out there than it is in the garage...
And that's about it for today..
Thanks for looking,
I appreciate your support...
Have a great weekend!
And now the Quotes:
Hi, GF!
No, autos don't care about the light cycle, they just flower whenever their internal clock tells them to..
My Amnesia Haze was mistakenly thought to be an auto at first, but when it got to 40 days old, and hadn't started flowering, I figured it must be a photo...
Hi, John!
I'm growing these in SIPs, (self irrigating planters) so watering them only involves filling the reservoir- my reservoirs aren't very big, so they've been drinking them dry every day for the last 3 weeks or so, so they get watered every morning with nice warm water. It won't be too long till I'll need to water them twice a day...
Thanks, LR! It helps when the plants cooperate, and both of these took to the training extremely well!
Thank you, Stone- I blame the SIPs for that...
Hi, Buzzzd!
That's correct...most of the autos I've grown have started flowering at apx. 21 days old, no matter the light cycle...occasionally one will take a week or so longer, but that doesn't seem to happen very often..
