Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

do you wear a coat in the garage when you do your training?
I do!
50-60f is okay for a few minutes, but it gets too damn cold if I'm out there for a half hour or so...
I did the training on the AH in the kitchen this morning, on her way to the garage, so that's where her training is going to happen from now on...Now that I think about it, I may start bringing the ATF in for her training, too...it's a short schlep from the garage to the kitchen, and it's also about 20 degrees warmer...

I can't wait to hear how Mrs. C reacts to this!

Ha!... She's sitting on the couch reading the newspaper in the morning, and she's remarkably oblivious to what's going on in the rest of the house... 😁
She may start to notice when they get bigger and stinkier..

Ha! to you. She's got you convinced that she's "remarkably oblivious to what's going on in the rest of the house".

I'm surprised at you. That's an old trick.

You may be right, but it's not like her to remain silent ....... ever...
not only are you officially a plant schlepper but you have your very own Oval of Brightness®!
It resembles the Oval of Brightness®, but it's the smaller, low budget
knock-off "Ellipse of Illumination®":slide:
she's adding all and any infringements up for one surgical move.
She may be letting stuff go because she knows her gummies ain't gonna make themselves...:hmmmm:

I love watching your magic!
Thank You, Trala!
The SIPs and the Grow Dots do most of it, I just steer the branches to where I want 'em to be...

I think two plants calls for a twice weekly update, just saying.
Does my Wednesday mini-update count? 😁

Thanks, GF!
Hopefully, the magic keeps happening into flower!

I'll start doing a little mid week update, now that they're changing quite a bit from day to day...they both grew another inch and a half overnight, so after training, they're both a couple inches wider...no pistils yet, but it's only been 6 days since flip..
I'm gonna need a wider Ellipse of Illumination® in a few days...

Good morning C Storm

Certainly does!

And I hope you and yours are well! Sending you love from Down Under, where the women glow and men plunder ;)

Happy Monday!
How about an
Update on my little garden?

Things are doing pretty well out in the garage- even the Amnesia Haze is doing ok -she doesn't seem to mind the cool temps out there as much as I thought she would..

First up, a look at the 66 day old ATF- she's been in her SIP for 43 days now...

The SaugaView®:
1ATF.jpg

She was flipped to 12/12- 9 days ago, and I spotted the first pistils this morning- both of these girls are not in much of a hurry to get the show on the road....
3ATF.jpg

She hasn't stretched much yet, but what stretching she has done is nice 'n even- I haven't had to adjust any hooks for 3 days now...There's also the possibility that (like the last one) she won't stretch much at all- we'll know more about that in a few weeks... 🤔

I have some clean-up to do on both plants-so far, I've only removed leaves that were blocking budsites,
but I need to give their undercarriages a little attention pretty soon-
4ATF.jpg

She's definitely starting to flower- the buds are all doing that thing they do just before they really get serious about it..
5ATF top.jpg

And here we have the 52 day old Amnesia Haze- in the SIP for 30 days now, she was also flipped 9 days ago...in spite of her cooler cold environment, she's just about caught up to the ATF
6AH.jpg

It's getting a bit tight in her little grow area (Ellipse of Illumination®)-so if this crap weather continues much longer, I'll have to move the air compressor so I can widen her space a bit.
The goal is still to grow her outside, but the weather isn't going to (allegedly) cooperate for another week or so...

7AH.jpg

This one hasn't stretched much either, and she's slower to flower than the other one...
8AH.jpg

It's odd that she's taking longer to show pistils than the ATF- this one gets exactly 12 hours of total darkness in the closet every night, but the one in the box (which has some light leaks) is flowering first....
9AH.jpg

And a "true colors" shot- sorry for the shit photo, but my old camera doesn't focus well if the subject is more than 3 feet away.
The AH comes across as a bit pale under the Atreum, but she's actually just normal green..
(AH top, ATF bottom)
11-ATF-AH.jpg

So far, so good with the Grow Dots..although both plants are showing the first slight signs of a Magnesium deficiency on a few older leaves -probably from using rainwater to water them- I'll use straight tap water for a week or so, and see if it clears up, or at least stops progressing.

My cal-mag has a bit of N in it, so I don't want to use it unless I really have to.
(and, I'm not sure where it is since the move out to the garage.:hmmmm:..)

Lastly, the tent pig sez "hi"😁

And that's about all for today!
Thank You for looking,
I appreciate your support...

I hope everyone's gardens are growing like weeds!:thumb:

Quite the looker and perfect size for that space. Wall to wall in flower soon!

It's like a boring dream come true for you. :welldone:

If you swapped them in the box few would be the wiser! And guess we need to stop calling it AHa and just call it AH. Or...maybe it still is an auto and that's why it's slower to flower. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Waiting for that weather... :slide:

Looking well under control
Thank You, Stunger!
Either these 2 are just easy, or I'm getting a little better at it...
It's like a boring dream come true for you.
It is!
I feel like a slacker when I don't have to fiddle with them for at least 15 minutes a day..
(watering daily doesn't really count- that takes about a minute)
Or...maybe it still is an auto and that's why it's slower to flower
She was flipped 2.5 weeks sooner than usual, and she doesn't have alternating nodes yet- maybe she's just not quite ready to enter womanhood..🤪

Good morning C Oink!

I swear to the God of Green I say “this is your best grow yet” to your every new grow! I’m loving having double the fun, and updates! You consistently produce winners!

👯‍♀️⭐👯‍♀️⭐👯‍♀️⭐

Both of those look like CarcassGrows®!

I haven't been oinked at in a while. That was fun! :Rasta:

Thanks, Trala!
I do try and make each one a bit better than the last...and occasionally, it works!

I think everyone enjoys a good "oinking" every now and then... :cheesygrinsmiley:
