Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

Ok, forget that. Your future girls deserve it. :laughtwo:
Ha!- only the best for the girls....actually, there is a plan "b", I just have to get off my ass and build it😬...one of these days...
You ever tallied up how many ounces you’ve grown out of that box?
Thanks for asking, NTH- I keep crappy records, so I don't know exactly, but I'd guess about 5 lbs., maybe a little more...my last two plants together were over a pound- it adds up a helluva lot faster than my family can smoke it..:lot-o-toke:

Holy cow Carcass! I can’t wait to see this one finish! :bongrip:
Thanks, Boo..💚
Just 5 or 6 weeks to go !

And, while I'm in here, it's time for a little Monday Update...

The Zkittles is 96 days old today, she's been in the Grow Dots for 63 of those days...

The SaugaView®:
1 Zkittles.jpg

The Dots finally ran out of gas (nitrogen) 5 or 6 days ago, so she's got a bit of yellowing going on...
When that shit runs out, it's like flipping a switch...green one day, yellow the next...
2 Zkittles.jpg

She got a couple of grams of CalMag Pro 8-0-0 on Saturday morning, and I think it may be helping with the yellow- but it's a bit early to say for sure- it didn't get any worse yesterday, so I figure that's a good thing...She'll get another dose tomorrow.

The buds are still doing well, they don't seem to notice the deficiency yet

Another one...

Out of the box, the yellow is more visible-Hopefully, the calmag stops the progression...if not, I'll have to
come up with a plan "b"...:hmmmm:

And while she's out, I had to take a silhouette shot...:)

And that's it for today-

Have a great week, see you next time!

looking wonderful as always!
Thanks, Stunger! Hopefully, by next week we'll wonder where the yellow went...
What an amazing plant!
Thank You, Trala, but I give the Dots most of the credit...
that way, I can also blame the Dots if when I screw something up...:D

Other than the yellowing that you are obviously on top of, the flowers are looking terrific!
She got a couple of grams of CalMag Pro 8-0-0 on Saturday morning,
For the record, this is what 2g of that provides:

Seriously! What about top dressing with more?
Out of the box, the yellow is more visible
The yellow is more visible but so are the flowers, and they're beauts, all 38 of them. :thumb:

Carcass' scintillating symmetrical zkittles shrubbery. What a beauty my friend.
Stay stoneder.

Thanks, Shed!

Funny- I was just eyeballing what's left in that little bag- I think that's what's next if the CalMag doesn't do the trick....
For the record, this is what 2g of that provides
Is that good? (I don't know ppm:hmmmm:) or do you think should I go with something a bit stronger- I have ammonium nitrate that I've never used on anything.
What a beauty my friend.
Thanks so much, Fred- hopefully, I can keep her that way...

That's a lot of nitrogen but not enough if that's all there is. If you were using MC you'd be somewhere in the 140-150 range for N now.

The other question is what do the Dots have left for Ca, Mg, and sulfur. I don't know when those are timed to be released.

Skip the ammonium nitrate no matter what though!

Beautiful plant! Yeah, how DO you fix that yellowing when the nitrogen runs out of the Dots? I have been trying to figure that out. I’ve been chalking it up to fall colors fading. But, mine are autos.

Allegedly, they release the flowering nutes for 10 weeks after the N runs out (or gets weak, or whatever's going on right now), but I'm not sure about the micronutrients..:hmmmm:

That's why I haven't used any- seems like a bit too much of that could do some real damage, real fast...
Yeah, how DO you fix that yellowing when the nitrogen runs out of the Dots?
Hi, DeeBoy!
Give it a few weeks, and I'll either know what to do, or I'll know for sure what not to do:oops:...hopefully, it's the first one...
I'm seriously considering watering in a teaspoon (ish) of Dots, and see if they pick up where the first batch left off...but it all depends on how she looks tomorrow afternoon...

Looking stellar, as always, Carcass!
Hopefully, the calmag stops the progression...if not, I'll have to
come up with a plan "b"
What brand of calmag are you using? I see yours is 8-0-0, mine is only 2-0-0.

So true! When the Dots expire you don't get a lot of time to react.

When this happened to me I was way late to react. But when I did react I assumed that all the Dot's goodies were about gone, not just the Nitrogen. So I started feeding the plants organic bloom nutrients. I still lost most of the leaves but the buds never blinked and kept putting on weight and getting ripe! I'm guessing that it took those organic nutes a week or two to break down and that was a week or two I didn't have (to save the leaves).

She's a beauty Carcass! 💙

Thanks so much Beez!

It's Cal Mag Pro, from @Blue Planet Nutrients- here's a little info on it:

The nitrogen is why I'm using it on the Zkittles, but there's also quite a few other goodies in there.. 👍

When the Dots expire you don't get a lot of time to react.
You sure don't!
I've been watching and waiting for this to happen, figuring I'd catch it early, maybe before anything turned yellow...
And we see just how well that worked...🤪

But, at least now I have a rough idea of when the Dots start running out of gas, might come in handy for the next Dot grow...
She's a beauty Carcass!
Thank You, GDB!...
I'll be watching for sure!
I hope I can get this figured out, because I really like the way the Dots work- up to day 60, anyway...😀

Thanks, Boo..💚
