Yes, it is part of the instructions to water with little or no runoff, so I estimated when I'd watered enough- but, I underestimated by about a third of a gallon for over a month.
It didn't really do much harm, just slowed her down a little till I upped her water.
I also have a theory about that (uh-oh)...
I think the underwatering may have helped to make the Dots nitrogen last a bit longer- I figure that since the bottom third of the pot wasn't getting much water, those Dots didn't start releasing their nitrogen until I started watering enough, and that's why she's still nice n green, a couple of weeks after the Dots were supposed to be done releasing nitrogen..
