Good Sunday Afternoon!
Time for a little
Harvest update!
The 110 day old, 17" tall Gorilla Glue was ready to chop yesterday morning, after flowering for 57 days, so that's what I did...forgot to get a pic while she was still in the box, but got a few other pre-chop shots:
Of course, I had to do a final silhouette shot...
And after removing lots of fan leaves...
A couple of buds, just before she went under the knife...
They're not real big, but they're solid
Here's the scene 2.5 hours later:
I weighed things before hanging them to dry:
22.6 oz wet, so probably around 5oz. dry- I figured it'd produce more than a gram but less than a pound,
so I was right on...
a typical trimmed bud:
And hanging to dry- she'll likely spend about 5 days here:
And that's about all there was to that!
Now, to the quotes:
all of the girls harvested have been somewhere in the 5 - 6 foot range, especially when I let them veg anywhere between 6 - 8 weeks.
I'm gonna try an 8.5 week veg next time unless the plant starts getting too tall...come to think of it, I could probably just flip when the plant is 12" tall so doubling in size
would might make it end up "just right"...
Have you told me how you cure? Coz if you have Ive forgot. I bought a book to write things down, so if you can tell me, I’ll write it step by step in my book.
I don't think I have, but
@Growings and
@Regrowth have got you pretty well covered -I stick the buds in the jars at 68-70rh, then burp them down to 62, which usually takes about two weeks- every time you burp them, the rh should drop a little- if your rh is staying the same, or it's taking a looonnnggg time to lower the rh, you need to leave the jars open longer.
All the way open, not just lids
ajar...
How cloudy are the trichomes?
There were still a few clear ones, but very few- I didn't really check for clear ambers- but there was
so much amber that she just had to come down. I usually have the opposite problem under the led- Waiting on amber that sometimes doesn't happen- this plant definitely did it a bit differently...
