Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

You know... that would work, if the dumbass who planted her had planted her
in the center of the pot ...but he somehow managed to get her about 2" off center...damn rookie!

You do have a lazy Susan though...? I thought I've seen her before. I have a terrible habit of planting them with a lean...need to use a level when I transplant! :cheesygrinsmiley: That GG is drop dead gorgeous. I'll bet you are excited to see how she turns out. Blue and Black are lovely as well. I bet they start smelling delicious soon. :bravo:

Hi, Boo!
You do have a lazy Susan though..
I do- I'm using it under the GG, I just have to slide it around to keep the crooked plant in the middle- :)

I am! My son saw her yesterday and said "you're gonna need a bigger box"....

Oh Maaa Gawdddd!

That plant is just beautiful and your photography is on fleek!

Pass on my best wishes to the fruit of your loins. I still hope he will be back. He, like you, is one of my kind. I love interacting with my kind so so much and I miss him every time I log in.

Wow, another great grow going on in Carcassville! :woohoo:
She's 17" tall now- my last two indoor plants (SuperSilver Haze/Iced Grapefruit) were both 17" tall
FastBuds Blackberry auto...Last week I thought this one was going to be a runty little thing. I was wrong...she's grown 10" in the last 7 days, (17" tall now)
And both of them- last week there was quite a height difference, but that's evened out in the last 7 days..
both 17" tall now, and nice 'n healthy.
It sounds like 17" is the magic number for your plants. :thumb:

Thank You, Trala!...and I use an actual camera (remember them?) for the pics- it does a pretty good job!

Thanks, Beez!

It was yesterday, but the outdoor ladies aren't done growing, so they're both apx. 18.5" tall today...
The one in the box is still only 17"- I think she may be stuck there... ;)

I love your box and GG, Carcass!
Hi, and Thank You, copperrein! and Thanks for stopping by!
Question: why did you take her restraints off once she was set in flower?
Good question..the restraints are on there to make the plant grow wider, instead of taller- this plant is wide enough (maybe even a bit too wide:oops:) so I took them off...the unrestrained branches will probably
move upward a little bit now, but I've got enough headroom in there that it (probably) won't matter.

I probably could have just left them on, but it's easier to water the plant without all those wires in the way....

Omg don’t encourage him when it comes to that ugly arsed box.

If that GG knew what was going on outside her grow room her beautiful Coca-Cola’s would shriek in horror and her glitter would turn to dust.

I've gussied her up with a few new stickers, she's looking real goooood now...:high-five:

Check your PM, HashGirl :)
Hey @Carcass how's it going??? I came across your journal cause I just dropped a SSH-a from 420 and was seeking a journal that had grew this baby. Your girl was a diamond and should be included in the miss universe pageant. With that being said I only need a simple yes/no if the breeders are the same. I'm planning on using the quadline technique you espouse on her and two other photos that I dropped a week earlier.

I have another question if you don't mind. I don't have the height limitation that you have and would like to know how and if I can increase the height of my girls while using this training method? I dropped my two photos on my BD 8/19 and my auto on the 25th, the photos are now both about 1.5" and sporting 2 nodes and starting on the third and the auto is about the same height now but only has 1 node. Final home for the photos is a 5 gal bucket and the auto is going into a 3 gal pot. I'm doing 3gal on the SSH-a because the last time I tried to grow a sativa (2014) she took over and outgrew the wardrobe cabinet I had her in. So now I think I'm ready to try some bondage (pot size and training) to get a successful sativa grow under my belt.

Can you point me in the right path? BTW, mannie I wish I had come across your journals when I first started out you been dropping some mean plants. Thanks for your time and anyone else who may drop in and give me a push in the right direction.

I felt that way too, till I got a few autos that stretched very little- now I just figure they're gonna do what they're gonna do....

Thanks, Nev!

Aw, shucks, HH  I think I'm just lucky with this one .. she's practically growing herself ..
HH, don't you love it when folks who have no reason to be modest...are? :)

@Carcass, the GG is too big. The outside autos are berry nice.

If you rearrange some of your box gear you can turn the box on it's side. Then the plant will fit in there with at least two sides not touching the box. Then you can use the Lazy Susan to rotate it. This will work especially well absent any more stretch.

Problem solved.:ganjamon:

I like the moon footprint!
Good Morning, copperrein! That came in a "goody box" from my son in Washington:love:
@Trala stop picking on Carcass
I only need a simple yes/no if the breeders are the same.
Hi, raziel819- Welcome to my little journal!

To answer the seed question- no- mine came from a seed man who is no longer a sponsor here....
how and if I can increase the height of my girls while using this training method?
I flip mine to 12/12 at 50 days old (apx.)- I think letting them veg longer would get you some bigger plants- I also tie them down pretty "tight", so they're only around 8" tall when I flip- tying them down a little "looser" would also give you some more height in the long run...

I have to be honest, though- I'm really not sure why my plants stop growing at 17", I'm just assuming it's because I flip them pretty early- I may wait a little longer to flip the next one- I'd like to get one to 24" tall, which is the height limit in the box...
HH, don't you love it when folks who have no reason to be modest...are? :)
Once again: Aw, Shucks, GDB:cheesygrinsmiley:

If you rearrange some of your box gear you can turn the box on it's side.
Great idea, GDB,... but, unfortunately, she's only 11' too tall for that to work...;)

And now....Little Nova just woke up from her nap, so duty calls!
I'll be back in here this evening, I hope everyone has a great day!
