FIM Stands for "Fuck, I missed" which is exactly what's happened both times I did it.
If you make the topping cut a little too high, it leaves the 2 new "growth points" (or whatever you call them) from the node you just removed, so then they grow into a couple of extra branches.
It's not easy to do correctly if you're trying to fim, but it seems to be pretty easy to do accidentally... ;)

Looking good over here Carcass! That GG is absolutely stunning.:love: Your little Black and Blue are looking noice too! Hopefully that little Blackberry gets her roots under her and jumpstarts soon.
 
The Gorilla Glue really loves what you're giving it with that perfectly even coat of green paint (did MrS send you some?) and I'm sure it won't stay 11" for long!

Blueberry looks good and I guess you gave it a FIFIM (Fuck, I FIM'd), so I'm looking forward to seeing how that turns out.

But isn't it ironic that the slow Blackberry is from Fast Buds?

If an auto already has a fast life cycle, are FastBuds even faster than that, e.g. the Amnesia Auto I'm growing says its length is 70 to 80 days so would the FastBuds auto be done earlier? :hmmmm:

I'd have to concur with this statement. I tried to FIM one of my GSCs but it didn't take so I ended up topping it after all.

She may finally be "going for it"- she grew over an inch today after I posted her pic - probably just a slow starter- and sometimes those are "the good ones"...:hmmmm:

Thanks, Beez- it probably won't be flat for much longer- the stretch usually tends to mess it up pretty good .. :oops:
 
Another Monday is here, so it's Update time once again !

Things are going good in the box- this Gorilla Glue is doing real well, she's grown 4" since flipped to 12/12 10 days ago...14" tall now, and close to 2' wide..I'm gonna have a full house once she gets serious with the flowering..I need to do a little thinning/cleanup on her, but I'll wait about ten more days for that.

So far, she's stretching fairly evenly, so the canopy is staying pretty flat...

She's being fed 5g of the gray stuff every other day (she's a thirsty one), I'm supplementing that with half a gram of @Blue Planet Nutrients "Easy Weed" (1-2-18) for a little extra kick since she's just starting to flower.

Now on to the two outdoor autos- first up, the @Weed Seeds Express Blueberry auto- 26 days old now, and not flowering yet...so this one might end up pretty big. She grew 5" in the last week, 12" tall now.
She took to the topping/fimming real well- that's all the training she'll get.

Both of the autos are being fed 3g of mc (the gray stuff)...they're both a little pale, so they'll be getting a bit more with the next feeding.

Now the FastBuds BlackBerry auto (from Grandma:love: @BooWho2 ) -this one also grew about 5" in the last week. (7" tall now)

She's 23 days old now and just starting to flower, so she may or may not get much bigger...

No training at all for this one- since she was a real slow starter, she gets to just grow naturally.
There's some real fat leaves on this one...

And that's about all that's been going on here- so far, so good!

Everything is looking awesome, C. That GG is gonna be a beast and those outdoor autos are looking super healthy too. :welldone:
 
Mate if your GG stacks like mine did that plant is going to be ridiculous. I can't wait to see it.
