Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

Your grow looks as beautiful as always.

OMG I had a seedling mishap yesterday.
Thanks, Trala!
I read about your mishap- just so you know, you're not the only one who's lost control of a sticky trap...
I ran out of mosquito dunks about a month ago, and the gnats came back with a vengeance, so I used sticky traps till I got more dunks- got a little close to the plant with this one...

Those buds are going to be huge if they look like that after 24 days!
A few of them are already "leaning" a bit, so I'll need some bamboo stakes poles in there soon...

And I got the idea to wrap the black pots from Amy,
Thanks to both of you! one of these days, I may actually grow a plant in those fabric pots...
I thought I broke the seedling.
It's enough to make one cuss a little.. :)
those colas are going to be super chunky looking like that already
They're making me like the @GeoFlora Nutrients a little more every day....

That Iced Grapefruit is gonna be a 10 ounces at that rate!
I hope she can keep it up for awhile, she'll be a real fatty by harvest time...
I'm ahead of you on the 2 week Chocodope pic- I tracked it down in your journal a couple days ago!
She's right on schedule-
I topped her this evening, so she might be mad at me for a day or so (but she'll get over it)...:)

Everything looks Carcassish, as in "lovely." You rock!

a little pale in the center, just like the Kalashnikov was
Grown under the same light?

Good evasive move!

Technically, "GeoFlora Nutrient" for you! :laughtwo:

Thanks for the kind words, GDB!
Grown under the same light?
Not really- the Kalashnikov spent a little time in the box, and under my old light, but she was a "mostly" outdoor plant, which makes the paleness even weirder... :hmmmm:
Technically, "GeoFlora Nutrient" for you!
Ha! That's true so far, but the plan (at the moment) is to continue with the GF nutes for the outdoor plants, except this time, I'll follow the directions...although I'm a little worried about the switch to bloom nutes- both the outdoor ladies are autos, so the switch won't be very long from now...
Time will tell...

Evening, Carcass.

Could you please tell me who the breeder was for your Super Silver Haze? I might get some seeds. :battingeyelashes:

Check your PM, HashGirl :)

Small update...
Up-potted the NLightxBigBud today to a 3 gal. (she was in a 2 gal) She's loving it already.
She was due for watering,so she got a nice drink of rainwater & Mega-Crop,so she probably won't need water again for a week or so (although she's using alot more water than she was 2 weeks ago)
Didn't really mean to get my vape in the second pic,but there it is....

I also made the door a bit bigger on the box-not sure just what I was thinking when I cut it only 20" high in the first place, but it's 28" now-about as high as it can be (cardboard is very forgiving
when you screw something up)

I also rearranged the plants to get the 2 young ones under more direct light.

Here's the little runt outside (one day younger than the 2 in the front row above, they germinated in the dirt also) She's really loving the 80 degree days we're having-if these sunny days keep up,she may catch up in a month or so...we'll see...

Well, that's it for today-I'll post a progress report in a week or so-Thanks for looking!
love the runt

I'm with Shed, those colas are going to be super chunky looking like that already. :yummy::bravo:
What they said!! ^^^^^
i can’t wait to see her at the finish line. That’s that magic I was talkin about!

Congrats on your Auto Kashnikov harvest. Yours looked much nicer than the two I grew last summer. One yielded 53g and the other only gave me 7g :laughtwo:. That Iced Grapefruit is looking nicer each update. :thumb:

Congrats on your Auto Kashnikov harvest.
Thanks, Beez! there wasn't/isn't a whole lot there, but according to my son, a little goes a long way...I haven't tried it yet, but I trust his judgement!
Hows your new babies doing?
Both are doing fine, Chocodope is growing like a weed, and the little Amnesia is almost ready to go into her permanent home- that's probably on tomorrow's agenda..pics in tomorrow's update...

AHA! I thought you might be the Amnesia culprit... :cheesygrinsmiley:

I hope this Memorial day finds you all happy and healthy!
Time for a little Monday Update...

Everything is going pretty well- the Iced Grapefruit is just plugging along, getting a little
fatter every day- She's 90 days old today, 39 days post-flip, and 30 days since the first
real flowers showed up.
She's still on the @GeoFlora Nutrients Veg nutes, supplemented with a little @Blue Planet Nutrients CalMag pro (for the nitrogen), and Easy Weed (for the potassium and phosphorous)
1 ig.jpg

She's been dropping a lot of leaves, mostly the lower ones- it doesn't seem to be hurting anything- which is a good thing, since I can't seem to figure out why she's doing it...It's hard to tell from the pic, but the bottom third of the plant is pretty much naked except for a few leaves around the edges...
2 ig.jpg

Here's a couple of her buds- still putting out lots of pistils- she's probably got about 3 weeks to go...
3 ig.jpg

And another one..
4 ig.jpg

And her weekly silhouette shot- some of those colas are pretty fat
5 ig.jpg

So much for that one, now for a quick peek at the 10 day old Amnesia auto:
6 aa.jpg

She's not doing much above ground yet, but she's been busy underground- she's going to get transplanted into her permanent home later on today...her new ProMix HP has been "cooking" for a couple of weeks now- amended with 44g of GeoFlora veg, and half an ounce of Earth Alive Soil Activator (it adds beneficial microbes to the soil)
She's been growing under the @Atreum Lighting Hydra-1000 so far- after transplant she'll be living outside.
(mostly)
7 aa.jpg

And last but definitely not least, is the Chocodope auto- 20 days old now, topped 6 days ago.
She's a very healthy little plant , which makes me happy...(me---->:))
9 cda.jpg

I'm not going to do much training on this one- just a little, to spread her branches out a bit...
(at least that's the plan right now)
Her pot of Promix HP was also amended (apx. 4 weeks ago) with 44g GF Veg, and 1/2 oz. of Soil Activator, plus I sprinkled apx. a tbsp. of GF Veg on top of the soil and watered it in after transplant (8 days ago)
She hasn't been watered since, so she's due pretty soon.
10 cda.jpg

The sun has (finally) been a little more dependable lately, and she's real happy out there...she gets schlepped inside at night- not only because it's cold out there, but also to try and keep the moths (and the resulting caterpillars) away.

8 cda.jpg

And that's pretty much it for this update-
Thanks for looking- I really appreciate the support!
I hope everyone has a nice, safe Memorial Day :peace:
