Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

Hi,Stunger, Welcome to the journal!
But the ribs are making my mouth water - yum!
Mine too- those were a few days ago- I'm ready to do that shit again!

As long as that trip's gonna take, they'd be beef jerkey by the time they got there ;)
Hey! Don’t mess around! I don’t play games, when it comes to jerky!! I’ll bite someone’s hand if they try and snatch it from me! :cheesygrinsmiley:
I love me some jerky!!:laughtwo:

Another Monday!
So, it's update time.....

Things have been going well in the box- it's starting to get a little tight in there, but I knew
that was going to happen....

Alaskan Purple auto left, Gelat.OG auto right, and Dr.SeedsmanCBD bottom (will go outside in a few weeks)

And a peek through the door...
1593454584470.jpeg

Here's one of the G.OG buds- she's 55 days old,flowering for 22days- 6g MegaCrop/.5g Sweet Candy/.30g Bud Explosion/4ml Silica Blast/gallon...she's looking just a little pale, so I'll up the MC to 6.5g/gallon next feeding (later today-fed every 3 days now- she's a heavy drinker...)

And an APa bud- 34 days old, flowering for apx. 9 days- fed 4g Mega Crop/ .5g SC/ .30g BE/ 4ml SB/gal.

And the little Dr.Seedsman- Up-potted to a 1 gallon and finally starting to grow a little...fed 2.5g MC & 3ml Silica Blast/gal
I'll be topping her at the fifth node in a few days...

Gotta have at least one silhouette shot of the Gelat.OG auto-she's not very tall, but she's got quite a few buds on her...
1593455919033.jpeg

Here's a little better pic of the APa- she's stretching now- grew about 2" this weekend...

And now the ChemDawg#4, outside and loving it out there...she's a hungry little plant, already being fed 6g/MC/gal.+4ml/gal. silica blast...she's a little lopsided since I broke off one of the main branches a couple weeks ago, shortly after topping her-

A little different angle...She's in a 3 gallon pot now, probably her final home- she was going to
be in Promix HP, but Amazon sent it to Milwaukee,Wisconsin (I'm in Cali.)....so she's actually in used Black Magic soil from the 10 gallon geopot that the last outdoor plant was in. She doesn't seem to mind...

That about wraps it up for today....
Thanks for looking, I really appreciate the support...:thanks:

And Please stay safe out there- this covid shit's coming around again- so let's all try and stay on the right side of the statistics-
Damn carcass!! They all look really good but that last plant. That’s a very vibrant colour of green!! :headbanger::bravo:

Hi Amy! I got some sunflower lecithin powder with my MBM. How much per cup of oil does it take for the powder?
Sorry I'm only getting this info to you now....

From MB2 site....
Chef’s note
*For best results do not pre-grind botanicals. Adjust botanical weight according to personal preference. **Lecithin is optional but highly recommended. Lecithin is an emulsifier used in cooking and in the pharmaceutical industry for binding ingredients in lipids (butter, oils, and fats). It helps to increase the bioavailability of plant compounds in your high-lipid infusions, intensifying the potency of the resulting extracts. Lecithin can be made from soy, sunflower, rice, or egg yolk. It is available at your local health-food or vitamin store in the form of powder, granules, or liquid. Any type is sufficient except in capsules, because they contain too many binders and fillers. Soy lecithin powder is processed to eliminate compounds that may have estrogen-like effects. Lecithin granules are made from soy powder mixed with soy oil, so they may contain estrogen-like compounds. Because liquid lecithin is three times as potent as powder or granules (it’s also three times as messy), use only 1 teaspoon per cup of butter or oil for your extractions.

Dang, I’ve been using one tablespoon per cup!

Loverly plants you have.:circle-of-love:
Thanks, VG !
And thanks for the lecithin info-I may just split the difference from now on, and use 2tsp/cup-
I'll probably just toss the soy granules out, because...

Ahhh, that explains the tender nipples.... :)

I have too- @Amy Gardner recommends it, so it's definitely not a bad thing-she's been at this a lot longer than I have. 2 tsp per cup works out right in the middle...
TBH, until this discussion started, I always thought a tablespoon was 2 teaspoons....no wonder the stuff I cook occasionally tastes "funny";)

I have a bottle but haven't used it yet.

I think it'd probably be ok either way,but I don't know that for sure- and it's hard to tell from the effects,
because with me,anyway, edibles take anywhere from half an hour to 2 hours to kick in....I do know that
eating greasy food (bacon, for instance) definitely speeds up the process.

Fedex just stopped by- 30 days after ordering it my Promix showed up- $32.00 with free shipping
seemed like a deal I couldn't pass up. (free shipping means slow shipping, evidently)
Home Depot doesn't sell my usual Black Magic soil anymore, so I figured it was time to try "the good stuff".
I guess I don't have to pH my water anymore with this stuff, so that's a good thing..

I've only got one plant left to up-pot, so I'll have plenty left for the next go-round-I'm happy!

I think Monsanto is the parent company of Black Magic. No loss in my eyes.

That's interesting re the bacon. I read a post (forgot which thread) a little while ago where someone had some edibles and obtained a bit of a buzz off them then 3 or 4 hours later had something like a plate of bacon and got absolutely trashed, like the fat of the bacon set it off again.
