CaptainLucky's Canuk Seeds Comparative Grow 2023

Don’t you want them to look their healthiest? Dark green doesn’t seem like it is getting the proper amount of nutrients. CL🍀 Edit: I flipped them 4 days ago.
Dark green can also just be a phenotype variance.

I've seen people chase their tail on that topic before and end up causing more harm than good.

I think the others growing the same look better than mine are. I could be wrong but when I lower the N maybe I’ll find out. CL🍀

Now that I’m looking at some of the others I think you might be on to something. Several of the Canuk strains seem pretty dark. I’m going to follow some of the others closer and make a decision about lowering the N. Mucho Gracias mi Hermano. CL🍀 :thanks:

I admit to admiring the dark green look on some plants. :) They do look more healthy to me.😎

Without any question it’s the Golden Tiger, the yield was the biggest ever. But the high is still something that has to be smoked to be believed. I know that it’s the strongest weed that I ever had. Very speedy and without a ceiling. CL🍀 Edit I never grew a Apple Betty. : :cheesygrinsmiley:
I would have agreed with you entirely re the GT, but having grown the Green 19 A5 Haze I'm thinking that that is stronger. Whether it's better though, it'll need a few more months curing.

It's good to see you back, if you've been away.:) I haven't seen any post.:hmmmm::bong:

My Golden Tiger is still curing. :) Harvested November 9, 2023.:hmmmm: I've kept the 3 different plants buds separated as they each were different phenos.:) The Thai phenos seem stronger at this point than the Malawi Killer pheno and there's more of it.:hmmmm::cheesygrinsmiley: The COB is still in cure and smokable.:)

Interesting, what’s your opinion about it being some of the strongest weed you ever had? I personally don’t know of anything that compares with it. CL🍀

I can't say yet, as it's supposed to take 6 months to hit its full cure. :hmmmm: As of today, I can't say it's the strongest. :) It does produce a strong stone in me.:bong: More zombieland, than frolicking down by the seaside.:cheesygrinsmiley: I'm hoping the taste and smell continue to improve, that's mainly where I see the cure improving.:hmmmm::)

Of the four strains I grew this year:
Fuel D.OG
Acapulco Gold
Golden Tiger
Colombian Gold

The Acapulco Gold is ahead.:) It's strong.:) It smells wonderful.:) And best of all, when smoking a joint, it taste damn near as good at the roach as when just lit.:love:

The Colombian Gold still has till the 4th week of next month till full cure, so it's not out of the running. :) Taste like lemons and fuel/gas now. :cheesygrinsmiley::bong:

Maybe strongest isn’t the right term but I know that when I smoke past a certain amount it goes from uplifting to staring out into space n wide awake. lol CL🍀

Captain, first, plants look great. I’m growing Canuck Seeds Grandaddy Bruce organic soil, the plants are lush green. Noticed others similar. My tips are not burning. Building a healthy base for flip when I also change nutes. I’m happy with the plant health and vigor finishing up week 4 veg. Cheers

Thanks for sharing and dropping by Cr, all comments are welcome and appreciated. Are you noticing any smells from yours yet? These are smelling stronger the older they get, I predict they might be the strongest yet. CL🍀 :thanks:

Yes. I had all four on the workbench today for heavy trim and LST adjust…that part of the basement reeked. I also predict a high level of stink in a few weeks. Cheers

4 days from flip is still veg.. two to three weeks from flip i start treating them like flower but some up the p/k a bit sooner to try speed up flower. As long as the tips aren't burnt or folding down I would admire their beautiful as I am 😁👍

:welcome:Journal Update: I have been procrastinating because of the holidays and because I have a terrible habit of putting things off. But I uppoted my biggest AG + LB. Both were root bound so they should start looking 👀 better. I also covered them in @DYNOMYCO. I’m using PB with last year’s soil so I didn’t use any bokashi n frass. I’m going to keep them in this for their final home so I prolly won’t veg to long. The Durban is a different story though. Hope everyone is having a good week. Happy growing n stay blessed 😇. CL🍀. :thanks:

🪀 Yo-Yo’s , I really need to get organized and start putting things away. But unfortunately space is at a premium right now in my bedroom. That’s no excuse for not being tidy though. lol CL🍀
