CaptainLucky's Canuk Seeds Comparative Grow 2023

My take on it is that training is a fast way to increase the number of nodes and maintain symmetry but many plants still seem to eventually shape themselves into a similar shape on their own just from being topped. if I didn't find the training process zen I probably would spend less time on it. Has a bonzai thing going for it that I find tranquillity in doing.

If space in my closet was unlimited I’d prolly be able to do the training that was recommended. But unfortunately it’s not and I’m simply growing these 3 to fit in my closet. The other two in the tent will be getting more training in line with what Chuck has mentioned. Happy growing and stay safe. CL🍀. :morenutes: :cheesygrinsmiley:

My current grow which is nearing the finish line. I tried the bonsai thing. I have to agree it was zen and almost therapeutic but after the stretch made for very unruly plants with a far from perfect canopy. I don"t think I will do the bonsai thing again.

:morenutes::welcome:Journal Update: The overall look 👀 of all my ladies is going well except for the Canuks color. Hopefully lowering the N in the next round of PB will help with that. I think the training done will be enuff for them to grow in the closet. I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend and your gardens grow well. Happy growing and stay warm. Don’t forget to vote 🗳️ in all the monthly and yearly contests. Here’s some pictures from this morning. CL🍀 :thanks:

Looking good mate 👏👏

What's your favourite that you've grown so far @CaptainLucky, is it still the Golden Tiger? And did the Apple Betty also hit the high notes for you?
Without any question it’s the Golden Tiger, the yield was the biggest ever. But the high is still something that has to be smoked to be believed. I know that it’s the strongest weed that I ever had. Very speedy and without a ceiling. CL🍀 Edit I never grew a Apple Betty. : :cheesygrinsmiley:

Looking good Capn. :)

Serious question for you and others following.:hmmmm: Why the great concern of too much Nitrogen during veg as long as they look healthy.:hmmmm: I understand why it might be a problem during flower, but during veg., it seems to just make them dark green as long as they don't burn.:)

Don’t you want them to look their healthiest? Dark green doesn’t seem like it is getting the proper amount of nutrients. CL🍀 Edit: I flipped them 4 days ago.
