Cannaruss' Adventures In Hempy Style

Wow! My first time with an auto. Northern Light Blue Auto, it has absolutely exploded. Went from 11 inches 5 days ago to 19 inches today. It just started popping out white hairs, this should be a monster but i only have about 3 foot head room in my veg tent. I dont know too much about autos so i may need a little help here. Can an auto be put in my flower tent at 12/12?

Sure you can flower in the flower room,,, but if you have the space,, let it go in your veg tent, least the first couple weeks.. From what I think,, and I have little knowledge of autos seeing I've only grew 10-15 of them over the years,, but I'd imagine she's go faster and bigger buddage under 16/8 or even more daylight,, up to 20/4. To me 12/12 wood waste afew extra hours that a auto can use to produce sugars.. Plants could flower under 24 hours light too,, but plants need a dark cycle to grow,, least all I've learned is plants grow mainly at night .. That veg cycle lighting will also help keep her shorter, the yellow hps, or flowering red LED lights lend to stretch.. If I want to keep my girls shorter in flower,, I use my veg MH lamp for the first 10 days of the 12/12 cycle.. Seems to keep plants tighter and shorter.. Just my 2 cent,, Keepem Green

Thanks Wood, good to know that info. Here are some pics of all the new cycle of girls, or in some cases the 4 UD's are reg seeds so i could get a male or two. If you notice in a couple of photos you can see the Northern light blue auto that towers over everything else her same age.

These are the UltraDogs, they have stayed quite short compared to all the other strains started 5 days later than them

UDs stretch little throughout the whole cycle. More indica leaning phenos will branch out in late veg and early flowering, but internodes should stay tight like in your plants. Doubling is rare in flowering, they will usually stretch only slightly more than in veg. Chem pheno will have that spikey cola, but that can be pretty much controlled by topping and LST. OG pheno is lankier with longer leaves, but if it was there you'd see it by now. It grows with very minimal branching looking almost like a male. Good job so far, man :thumb:

Auto's have come a long ways,, considering the first of the strains was about as potent as hemp is.. It's a Russian mutation really.. Shows ya what acclamation can do.. Plants adapt. And when all you got is acouple good months to reproduce in, they learn.. But now you got all these potheads doing what they like to do best,, and it's no wonder why this worthless mutation is becoming as potent as she is today.. Going to be a healthy sized plant.. I got ahold of the first run of Lowrider seeds along time back,, plants yielded 3-5 grams of shit weed.. It was more a novelty then. Now they are getting huge, up to acouple pounds per plant. Best luck with yours,, Keepem Green

After transplanting the UD's in the 3 and 4 gallon pots they are taking off. They are super bushy. I think i see some male traits in the tallest one. Think i will put it outside and collect some pollen. I need to make me some seeds and this strain should make a good father to all my others.

Called it, man. But wait until you actually see some balls. Top it again if you have some time. I mean once they start flowering they will speed up, so it's worth doing it before the flip. And yeah this strain will thrive in humid climate. I have nights with 99% RH here so this shouldn't be a problem. Don't forget about some good organic source of calcium/magnesium in flowering, this will give you extra hard buds with great flavour.

This strain is all about branching, so topping just helps you yield and also gives you an even canopy, cause otherwise OG traits come in the way, spikey colas specifically.

Im gonna do a complete change over with my tents and shit. Im getting a 12x12 shed and fixing it up the way i want it. Im thinking of going with the Panda film for a liner. Does anyone have a better idea? Gonna split the shed into two grow areas, flower and veg/clone. No tents will be in this one. Will be insulating well for the heat of summer and put in a decent window AC unit. Its too hard to grow outdoors here so i have to go year round indoors and this is the best decision i can come up with. I want to do it right, i need a near perfect environment. All advice is needed here, especially those that grow year round in a shed. Thanks folks. Happy Growing.

Hey man if you can't find anyone to help you here ask on my thread and for sure you'll find the advice you need :thumb:

They have these foil lined styrofoam insulation sheets they wrap houses with.. Comes in 4X8 sheets.. And has silver foil for reflection. And it insulates.. You can use foil tape to seal all the seams and corners in you want a sealed room.. Just a thought.. GL and Keepem Green
