Good Morning all.

Confirmation this morning that there are three male plants in the group. Both of the Hawaiian Skunk Haze are male and the THC Bomb #1.
I did get a female out of the THC bomb, but nothing out of the HSH. So I will germ some more of the HSH tonight.
I'm going to keep one of the males for a bit and use it to test out cloning. The other two will be tossed.

I hate reg seeds, I always seem to get males & I daren't keep one for fear of pollinating my girls. Good luck with your next batch, I hope you get a girlie :)

I keep the male plants far far away from the females if I am going to keep them for any reason. Totally separate rooms. I also learned a trick from a grower near me, keep a bottle of water with a mister on it in the grow area when you are sexing plants. Water sterilizes pollen easily according to the grower. If you happen to catch a male a bit too late, mist the area with water including the plants and yourself. Of course it is always a good idea to completely sanitize the area where the girls are just in case.
I keep the mister with me if I am working with a male plant and spray myself lightly if I plan to go see the girls. I keep a lab coat on also, and remove that when I visit the ladies.

It sounds like you take every precaution you possibly can :) :thumb: I didn't know about the water trick but I must admit whenever I've seen a sack pop I've always sprayed with water, but it's just been to wash it off & stop it floating in the air. :)

Just checking in ya'll. I haven't disappeared, I've been swamped busy at home and work.

I will have a big update over the weekend. I will be putting the flowering flux plant in with the flower girls, it is just going to town on flowering. I figure why fight it. LOL

The younger plants are doing awesome.

Have you seen this months nominations for member of the month? I'm only bloody on it aren't I :) So the answer to if we are doing well, in my case it's a big fat smiley yes :)

It is good to hear from you. I'm decluttering my house and I'm not home three mornings a week so that also cuts into my online time; which is fabulous. I really want to cut way back on FB and other things I post to. I love them all, but I spend way too much time online.

I miss everybody. I am on my last three plants which are in flower now. I have three clones I don't know what to do with. Suggestions?

If anybody reading this loves where they live, and it is a reasonable and affordable county, please let me know what that is. I am looking at many places, some are:

Upstate NY 1 hour north of city
Portland, OR
New Mexico near mountains
Colorado
N. California, like San Jose, Soquel, Santa Cruz, but cheaper. Much cheaper. Out of the way cheap.
Kentucky
Nevada

Hey thats a shame about the males. I guessed wen u mentioned tedting out cloning of male its just to test ur cloning abillity for practising cloning? What a good idea that is iv never thought of that.... best to try on something of no value to u. Looking forward to the big update at the weekend

It's Picture day! :yahoo:

First up, I think that I wound up with an Auto seed on this flux plant. Just the way it went into full flower and continues despite the lighting being at 18/6. So I decided to just go with the flow and I put her in with the 12/12 girls. Here's a couple of the fluxing attempted flower child:

(I had to put my spider plants in there with one of the cheapo 1 w LED panels because of a Kitten who absolutely refuses to stop destroying my house plants. She'd better grow out of that real soon!)

And here's the Widow Master plants (ww x mk), they are doing well. I trained them down to one side for a while to try to get some side shoots going. Included is the DCC flux gal, she's doing great too....but has STILL not shown sex:

The rest of these pics are just cuz I thought they were purty with the two different colors of lighting (LED and a clip on CFL just to get the pics). As you can see, the Flux gal is fully flowering and building. Lots of sugar already!

@daTenshi, I'm going to go back on the calendar and see what day it was that pistils showed then go from there. If I got an accidental auto seed, we will know for sure on the timing from there to flowering end. Good idea! ;-)

KingJohn, catnip has no effect on this little monster yet. (I always keep a bag around and stuff little soft toys with it) I've read that cats have to mature a bit before it affects them. Either that or she is the most stubborn brat I've ever tried to train. LOL

I started a new cloning experiment today. On the rockwool cubes packaging it shows putting the clones in a plastic bag for moisture. I thought I would give that a try. Soaked the rockwool cubes is Ph'd 5.5 water, and dipped the clones in rooting hormone powder and placed in the soaked rockwool cubes. Into a large plastic ziplock bag and misted the inside before closing it up. I will open it up a couple of times per day to get fresh air in.

Lol. I'm doing the same thing. Seriously. I grabbed a zip lock but couldn't find a rubberband so I put like 6 clones in the zip lock baggy.
