I like it about the same as what budnoob2 and LA said. The more amber, the more couchlock. If I am growing for someone who wants a good head high, then much less amber trichs. But I don't think that the percent of amber and cloudy or clear is the absolute method from what I've read. It's strain specific too. Maybe someone with a bit more knowledge can pop in on that one.

Just an update on the broken top, it's doing just fine and is fusing itself back together. Woo hoo! :) Will have a pic later today. I'm going to be transplanting the seedlings today too.

I'm thinking of vegging about a week longer and then switching to 12/12. Which is not nearly what I was vegging at before, usually it's been a couple of months.
What ya'll think?

I made some canna caramels this morning. Poured the mixture into a glass baking dish that was room tempered....the thing broke in half. LOL It had a very small crack in one edge and I should have known better than try to pour boiling hot liquid in it with that slight crack. What a mess!!! But I salvaged it and I think it's going to be fine.....

Yep, it's strain specific as to how many amber or cloudy trichomes will affect the high you get. For an example a sativa haze could be harvested at 50% amber & you'd never get couch lock from it :)

With your veg time, I'd say it's entirely up to you what you do. They look great so I wouldn't say don't do it :)

Here's a quick update, and a question on the fluxing. If I strip off all of the tiny growths, how is the plant going to grow additional arms for opposite directions? Will they re-grow later on? I'm a bit confused on that.
The end of the first flux plant has a lot of growth, but one of the shoots is going to get cut off for a clone. I just want it a bit longer first.

Flux answer here for you :) You strip off all the tiny growth on the arms so it concentrates all it's energy in growing its arms & not additional branching. You don't have any growth in the opposite direction, you use the existing arms to fill in the middle by training them there.

Here's some basic knowledge you need in your locker for fluxing.
Open up the new growth on your two main heads, this allows light in there which keeps node spacing tight & gives you a more compact structure.
To keep control over the arm lengths you can do a couple of things. Stunt the ones that are getting too long by pinching the branch just behind the end node. When you hear & feel it crunch, you've done it right. Keeping the longest arms down at the lowest point will also slow them down.
To speed up the short ones, allow them to go vertical as they become the dominant part of the plant. The plant will then prioritise feeding them 1st. Also leave a touch more foliage on the end of the short ones but make sure you remove any secondary growth.

I wasn't going to flip the fluxes yet. Going to wait a bit on those, I'm going to flip the plants that are under the LED light in a different room. They are getting pretty full and I think they are ready.

I'm glad to help Canna so I'm glad you understand :) As LA says, the more vert the better, I waited until I had 6"-7" before the flip so use that as a guide & you're golden :)

Quick update this morning. I switched the plants under the LED light to 12/12 yesterday. The Hawaiian Skunk Haze plants have still not shown sex, so hopefully the new light schedule will move that along.

I'm going to be cutting some clones tonight for the bubble cloner. I have it set up and ready to go. I found a plastic top to a store bought cake that fits the top perfectly to keep humidity in. It gets air in from around the base. I think it's going to work out fine if I keep the clones low enough to not touch the top of it. I'll post some pics tonight (hopefully) of the clones.

L'il Bit is far surpassing the other seedlings. I sure hope it is a female! I'll have some update pics on those tonight too.

I took 2 clones from the Flux plant and then one from each female in the flowering room and 1 Hawaiian Skunk Haze that hasn't shown sex yet. There are two air stones in the homemade bubbler making splashy bubbles for the stems.

Well, I'm happy happy too. Pretty sure I see roots coming out of the nodes on 4 of the clones. Woot Woot!
With this bubble cloner I have made a mistake in the past by not keeping the water level steady. It will evaporate, so I have a mark inside the bucket and keep the water at the mark.

I think they are going to do just fine.......

The flowering plants are stretching already, so I will need to get in there today and do some light tie downs so they don't reach too tall. I'm probably going to defoliate a bit too. Hopefully I will see some sign of sex on the Hawaiian Skunk Haze plants.
I have a time lapse going on them for the stretch too, I am anxiously waiting for at least two days worth of video.

Hope everyone is doing well today. I have a nice bright sunny day and will be splitting wood from a fallen tree last week. Temps are supposed to dropping the sixties next week, so it's almost time to fire up the wood stove. YUK! ;-)

LOLOL, hey canna, I'm going to keep an eye on your cotton candy, I have a strain called cotton candy...from a grower.......we were told we could have all the cuts we wanted as long as we didn't give any cuts away.........I mean the genetics were to STAY HERE. So far....the buds are loose and airy, alot of leaf to them......but absolutely drenched in trichomes! Small plants.........not bushy....by my standards. This is the pride and joy of the grower I got em from! LOL, one of the reasons I don't work this forum much anymore...condoned spam and snake oil.........there is alotta bs that goes around here....LOL! Have a great day!

Hey Hey Mac. Good to see you posting. :)

I'm still waiting for this Delicious Cotton Candy to show sex! It's a feminised seed, but that's no guarantee as we both know. LOL

Do your clones seem to grow a bit slow? This plant doesn't grow anywhere near the rate all the other plants do. Seems to be a slow poke, but I love the fullness of what is there. It's not thin leaved and gangly. ;-)
