Canna, that CC can be real finicky. Grows slow too (mine was the slowest).
I think it's just the genes. Strong smoke though. Surprised me. Pretty colors when cured. I put a CC nug in for the contest this month just because of the colors. When I cured the harvest, all these gold & orange hairs came out. It's a real pretty strain when ready.
And the smell... Wow. Very fruity with the Cheese coming out big time.

Thanks cajun, that sounds right up my alley. LOL If it turns out as nice as you are describing I will be ordering some seeds for sure. Good to know that it isn't being an unusual slow poke. I have seen a lot of journals that have this strain in the grow, so it must be a fav for sure.

Quick update, 2 of the clones in the bubble cloner did not make it. I cut them too short. Will try those again.

I'm still waiting on sex for the two Hawaiian Skunk Haze plants. I checked them this morning, and it appears there is some "stacking" going on at the tops. I'm thinking we got boyze. Few more days I will know for sure. I was hoping at least one of them would be female, but I need to eliminate at least one plant under the LED light, there's just not room for five of them.

Here's the vegging plants. The first are the fluxers. The g13 appears to be going full board flowering, but it's on 18-6 light schedule. I'm not understanding that at all. I have some snipping and trimming to do yet on them. The broken arm has healed completely and is very strong. Yey!

Here are the WW x MK seedlings. I guess they are big enough now to call them teens. LOL L'il Bit is doing great. (Chant with me....girl please...girl please...girl please...)

I might start some LST on them tomorrow morning.

Looking good my friend :) I've not had much luck with my HSH reg seeds so far, grown two & both were boys :(

Alex! So good to see you, and yes it's been ages. :)

I'm loving the LED panel so far. No heat problem and much less on the electric bill for sure. I like not having to worry on where to hang it, with HPS you have to be careful where you put that hot lamp and housing, not to mention how heavy the HPS units are along with the ballasts.

I have not completed a harvest yet with it, so time will tell if I like the results better than the HPS lights. The LED lights are finally coming to "can swing it" pricing, so I will probably get another one of these if I am impressed with the harvest results.

Are you going to start another journal soon? If so, do let us know. I will subscribe for sure.

Thanks Skunny, let's hope I can break the cycle when I pop some more of them in to germ. If these both turn out male, I will germ at least 5 and see if I can get a girl out of it. LOL

Hey Canna. How you're having a good one.
How long has the G13 been in veg? I see she's flowering. That's a common problem with mainlining. Extended veg times can cause weird stuff to happen. They turn to wood, early flowering, ect. When the stress from mainlining works out, it's good. But, lots happens no matter what we do sometimes huh?

Hey cajuncelt, hope you are having good ones too. :)

The G13 has been in veg almost two months now, so you could be correct for sure. I'm going to take a look at that one shortly.
Fluxing (that's the replacement term for "mainlining" that we are trying to establish due to the hard core drug stigma attached to it) does appear to be stressful on them.
I'll get a pic of the flowers on it and post this morning, get some input on what to do with it. Maybe it's time to allow the vertical growth? ;-)

Interesting theory, my flux hermied & went into flower almost instantly when I flipped to 12/12. I then noticed a clone I took off it had done exactly the same whilst being on 18/6

LOL, it's a plant that keeps ya guessing for sure.
Last grow I had a timer failure that I wasn't aware of. The lights never went off for about two weeks. Didn't notice it because the only time I was with the plants was during the set lights on time. The plants stopped flowering and went into vegging stage and started new shoots from the tops. I put them immediately back to 12/12 and they started to flower again, even from the new shoots. I wound up with a double harvest off each plant.

I am STILL waiting on a smoke report of those plants' harvest from a couple of friends who do a LOT of smoking. Certified stoners. LOL

Sorry your having Fluxing issues! All I can say is that I've now fluxed 6 plants of all different strains and not had a single issue as far as hermie or flowering early! I would never suggest a grow style that I knew to have risks. I do believe some genetics are probably more suited to fluxing and by the same yard stick I would suffice that certain genetics are more prone to problems due to the severe training.
I personally won't condemn the style untill I see any negative results myself. Not being funny in the least and I'm not saying your laying it all at the foot of the training. I just think we have the norm issue of to many variables. (Plus I may be a little biased with this topic) :)
I just apologise for any issues that have befallen you Canna and Skunny, if it proves to be the style in anyway you have my most humble apologies.

LA, I'm not laying the blame on you my friend. I've been growing long enough to know this plant can do some weird & wonderful things all on its own & genetics are usually at fault :)

I don't think it can be blamed on anything, some plants behave really strangely. I haven't tried fluxing yet, but noticed so far that some plants you can mutilate almost with no downfall and some just happen to do strange stuff without any reason. There are so much we still don't understand about this amazing plant.
Maybe you fluxed it into an autoflower canna :laughtwo:

Naah, I don't see the actual fluxing style itself to be the issue. I think some plants just get finicky, it probably would have happened even with plain ol' low stress training on this plant most likely. :) The other fluxer is doing fine, and the one I did last grow went well. Albeit, it didn't start out to be a fluxer, it just wound up that way. LOL
I like the fluxing style and will continue to do one or two in my grows in the future. It's certainly proven results.

I should have said, manipulation in general is stressful on them. Not just fluxing.

That would be a great theory to test. Making our own auto flowering plants. LOL

Them pannels have came a long way. Ppl getting super yields so fingers crossed for u

i will be starting a new journal in the new year but got to much going on at the moment
