One of our newer members,SmokeyMcFly, posted a link for me to an item I think I might invest in. This is a timer thermostat to turn space heaters on and off based on room temp:

Do not use softened water to flush your plants with, it contains sodium and other undesirables that would harm your plants. I would install a tap prior to your water softener and use its water. for a harvest flush you are letting any nutrients left in the soil get used up by the plants and allowing the plants to use stored nutrients from the fan leaves. General Hydroponics Flora series 3 part nutrients only require a 7 day flush.

I am using the well water from the barn and PH'd it. I didn't want to take a chance with the softened water.
You did give me an idea on getting a tap before that water softener though! I'm going to the well room and see if there MIGHT have been one installed there, otherwise I can do it fairly easy. Sometimes the simplistic things can be so overlooked. LOL

Woo Hoo! Can't thank you enough John! There are two spigots down in the well room that I can use to get water from the well before it gets to the softener. :cheertwo:

Good day Canna, you might check Wally world, Blowes, or HD. I picked up a couple of really small thermostat controlled oil heaters that work really well. I just don't remember where I bought them though. :tokin:

Thanks Bluefly43, I have been reading up on those and I think our local Lowes and Home Depot carry them. I would love to put what I already have here to use though using a timer. By the time I get this heat thing dialed in it will be Spring! :rofl:
(I did mention to my Pops about those oil filled heaters, Christmas hint. LOL)
