I hope that this plant actually produces some kind of purple buddage, the first time I grew it the colors were not impressive. We'll see what we can do about that nonsense. Ya got purple in the name, then I want some Purple!

Thanks Sue, it is eerie looking. LOL Can't quite figure why it's doing that, I had a plant a couple years ago that did it for some reason as well.

I love the seeds freebies. I was out of the Buddha seeds, so it's nice not to have to order more. The plant did so nicely that I want to grow it again. I have a couple of clones going, but it's always nice to have a back up plan.

Strange thing is I swear I keep seeing it from time to time. Some guy named Pee Wee had it on his show even. Strange world this is. Or maybe I am high and that is just how I actually see myself.

Your lion on the other hand is just plain awesome. Unforgettable! Hear Cannafan roar. Really, with that pic you can just imagine the roar. Or maybe it isn't a roar but about to eat a cannabis brownie tray whole. Mmmm, brownies.

Back to business though, my next order from the land of seeds may be thematic. All purple and purple autoflower. I have lots of other stuff. Just no purps and no autos. Crime really. Needs to be fixed. But GDP nearly had my heart stop with the price. Yikes. May need to look at alternatives.

My avatar can look like a roaring beast.....it was intentional.
I took the picture of a lion yawning at a zoo one year, and photo shopped out the bars in front of her. I thought it fit me quite perfectly.

I will be anxiously anticipating your choices of any purple strains, and I totally get your frustration on seed prices. UGH!
I will be doing a lot more pollinating in the future now that I'm back to growing full swing.

This is sounding like one of those "Ripley's, Believe or Not" moments.

Believe or not....we are back in the upstairs back bathroom. LOL

The Pyramid Purple Auto will be going on an 18/6 light schedule and I wanted to do the entire growth in LED lighting with video start to finish. The only way to do that was a separation from the flowering kids and the ones in Veg under HPS.

So here we are again, in the can:

She's doing great still got some of that inner shell membrane on her, but that will drop off as it shrivels and dries. If it's not gone by tomorrow I'll put a drop of water on it. That always works:

I have the Budmaster XG's about 18-24" above her. Is that too close for a sprout?

I'll probably put a couple of veg girls in there when they are ready.

The time lapse of the defoliation just didn't work out. I had to keep moving things around in there which made for jumpy and confusing video, and you couldn't really tell what was going on unless it was a 64x or higher speed. With images every 5 seconds, that made the video keep stopping for a microsecond at that high speed 64x. Basically it just wasn't impressive. LOL

So, let's hope this turns out well. I hope to keep the plant and video exactly where they are so I can achieve some good time lapse.

MTS, Massive Trichome Syndrome,
is a debilitating affliction that makes you stare for hours wondrously, and in a state of euphoric anticipation of the incredibly good things to come from these sparkly things of nature. It consumes your time and your thoughts to such an extent that suddenly you look around yourself and wonder where the heck your day went.

To give you an idea of how it captures you and keeps you grounded in one place for hours on end, here's one picture of todays attack:

Here is what the rest of today's symptoms produced:

This one looks like a starfish reaching upwards.

This looks suspiciously like a nanner pod at the very top of the cola forming to me. I will be keeping a close eye on that one. The trichomes are a bit cloudy in areas as well.

I'll have some buds and group shots coming up later. I need to get ahold of 'me brain first. ;-)

Beautiful pictures as always. What are you using to get your tric pics? I am still using an old fashion loop and need to get better tech.

My wonderful partner in this adventure of life and I were looking at your fabric pot post last night. I can see the sewing machine from here and I think we are going to sew up 4 LARGE custom pots to fill the bottom of the 2x4 flower tent. Something like 10g or so.

She was wondering where can eco felt be obtained? I wonder if places like JoAnns fabrics would know what I was talking about!

HI ya Bob,

Yes, I got my eco felt at JoAnn fabrics. Perfect timing to get some as it is highly used during Halloween. Should be on a good clearance price right now.

I have several grows in these pots so far, and they are holding up beautifully!

I am using a jewelers loupe taped over my Galaxy S5 camera lens. A tripod is essential, that has to be very steady to get a fairly clear shot. I just rubber band the phone to the top of the tripod where you would mount a camera and then use the controls of the tripod to adjust up or down to get in tight. Wait for the plant to settle down if you've bumped it before taking the shot. Any movement, even the slightest, is going to blur ya.

I also use a jewelers headset when looking at the screen on the phone, my glasses need updating and it helps me to see what the actual sharpness is.

Off to JoAnns we go! Never even thought about the timing with Halloween.

I bought a fellow grower a nice USB scope that takes videos and stills. He loves it and it wasn't much. I may need to ask Santa for one!

I love the Loop/Galaxy combo!

UPDATE FLOWERING GIRLS 11-7-15

One of my more epic updates. Lots of pictures, phone battery is dead and I haven't even gotten to the veg girls yet.

I didn't label the names of the plants other than one of them. I'll do that on the next update:

You can see that THC Bomb has droopy drawers again, I gave her some water. She's happy now.
