morning all! Am loving the DST with more light making the days longer and the fact that it's spring! Walking the property and taking notes on the chores ahead for the summer......expecting a new light to be delivered today.....life is good.....

Good Morning DemonicAngel, Shawnee, and Duggan.

My own back is getting better by the day. I must have really mucked up a nerve or something. Wish I knew what I did, so I would know to NOT do that again.

I'm still waiting on a silver bird to drop off some beans, I hope in the next couple of days so I can add to the Auto's I have germing. I want them to all start at least in the same week.

I received some 5 gallon pots today, so we'll see if I get bigger plants. I'll be ordering some larger ones soon, but budget is non existent right now. Budget? WTH is a budget??? Can I buy that?

Shawnee, you escaped one hellacious thunderstorm Sunday night. It was right over the top of me, one of those shake the house and rattle the windows with hail for about an hour.
Jolted me right out of bed about midnight-thirty. Was fun to watch...but some of those booms were nerve wracking.

I completely forgot to post this yesterday. Better late than never, I guess.

A Golden Egg carton. Cannafan did it with style - Mardi Gras style. And now in true Mardi Gras fashion, she want's to plant more and more. Who needs Lent ?

LOL, I wish I could go to Mardi Gras again. Had a blast the one and only time I attended. What happens at Mardi Gras....stays at Mardi Gras.

I used the egg carton because I'm kind of notorious for knocking those shot glasses over when they're in a group and I'm trying to look at the seeds.

I, too went to Mardi Gras....and stayed for a month! What a blast!

Question: since I am a cloner, I think I have a real hard time with seeds....I also soak in a shot glass, wrap in damp paper towel that sits on a plate on a warm dish network box, and then plant when it grows a little tap root....then into a 1 gallon pot with soil.....but it takes forever to pop up thru the soil, and I'm not planting that deep....what is the time frame that it takes for your seeds to pop up?

I usually have a sprout within a few days. I have had some take more than week in the past, but I think I planted too deep.
What depth are you planting them? Mine are no more than 3/4" and I top the soil on them rather loosely, I don't pack it down on them.

I plant no more than 1/2 inch deep, usually less than that and don't pack the soil down either....going on day 4 in soil and still nothing for 6 seeds.....so we'll see.....

I plant 1/4" deep after they have a tap root in water.

They usually break soil 4-6 days later. I'm a cloner too - I have only sprouted about 15 seed in 3 years.

Still time yet. I just looked at my little pencil I use to push the hole in, it's got a rubber band wrapped around it to stop it at the depth I want. It's 1/2", so we're the same there.

I'm always 100% certain I will get roots with cloning....always unsure if a seed will sprout....but then again, I really lack in the patience department.....

The malformed bud at the bottom of Darkstar #1 doesn't look much like a caterpillar anymore.

This looks like the one I had that King said was an extra gene thing going on and it's supposed to be extra potent...::... Mine was exceptionally good.......

I get impatient waiting 5 days for a seed - but I get excited when I see clone roots after only 5 days.
I get impatient with clone cuttings after 30 days - not really fair is it?

Since I started using a bubble/splash cloner I have not had one FAIL to show roots (although sometimes I throw them out before they show roots.)


I find it is a lot easier to be patient with a clone than a seed because:
A) It almost always works and
B) I didn't pay money for it

That there is a Polyploid.. take clones and re-veg. Then seeds. This plant will have higher concentration of THC.

Nice DIY lamps bro.. I bet the frost that the frost is due to the new lamps.

First time I saw those lamps I was like.... is that my oven rack...why no that is a COB setup for frostiness. Props...yer kicking it, almost like the flowers are growing out of the snow... and just kept the icy frosting on the flowers. I bet if you look hard nuf while puffing e'nuf, the ice is melting.... the frost is frosting and the purps are purpling.... and wait for it.......

That's the name I couldn't think of! Polyploid, it's what Dennise had on one of her plants and someone told her what it was. Dennise.

Coincidentally....or not?.... this plant sprouted with 3 Cotyledon's and almost doubled the size of the other two sister seeds since she started out.

I'm taking a couple of clones today.

I love your humor, the frost on the frost is looking awesome hanging in the drying closet. Can't wait for a good cure.
