Awesome Build. I if you can save a few bucks using materials around the house, then thats great! I bought a pack of 10 mylar emergency blankets, 10 for $8, to wrap any dark items in my grow room. They work very well. Here is the link if your interested.

And about your sump pump question. I think that would work just fine, but the only problem I foresee is that #1, you might get some funky smells, and #2, i,m not to sure, but it might end up getting into your ground water. Maybe good maybe bad, im not sure.
But go for it and see what happens. You can always disconnect it and find another way...
Thanks for thoughts Cannabis 1! I wound up not using the sump idea. Things changed a bunch from the plans I had at the start. LOL
Just a heads up, links to amazon and fleabay and such will probably be removed by the mods. The reason for that is, once the listing or the item is no longer available we wind up with dead links on the site.

Here's an update on the Boo Boo girls. The buds on top are starting to get thick. YUM
They ain't purty....but I think they'll be just fine:

She started flowering a bunch when I switched to 12/12 to force sex on other plants.
I'll have a full pic of White Widow clone and the reveg later on.

Okay now you all know me by now. When I start taking pics....I party!
First I want to show how many buds are on this gangly White Widow first clone plant. I can't count them all! They are whispy just like the original Mother plant was, but dang there's a ton of them!
If anything, I'm going to have some major amounts of small buds for cannabutter and other such goodies. LOL

Thanks Cannabis 1...
and that's a story in itself. LOL The top buds have been flowering about 5 weeks now. The lower buds are on week 14.
Lighting timer failer for two weeks, staying light 24 hours caused the plants to go back into veggie stage. When I corrected the lighting back to 12/12 the plants began to stretch and start a whole new budding process above the original buds......and that's it in a nutshell.
We are all seeing what will happen here.

Purdy pics as usual! That Boo Boo Widow looks like a tumbleweed, a vortex of twisted crazy buds. Who would have thunk it would turn out this fun six weeks ago?

Oh....the horror....
I got to thinking of the degrading of buds when they are left on the plant too long, I didn't want to have 4 plants with all of that good stuff on the bottoms rendered useless. So I took the sickest looking one, a Master Kush, and decided to chop all of the original buds and leaves. I have it all saved as trim. It's sticky as heck, so I guess it's still okay. We'll see when I make some cannabutter with it.
So here's the mangled lil' gal before:

Here's the amount of trim. This is a 13.5 x 9" dish.
Now it will be interesting to see if the top fresher buds get bulkier or not. They have about 4 weeks to go.
I'm seriously considering mangling the other 3 plants today too. hmmmm......
