CannaDad's First Grow - Vero COB LED

Awesome CD! Brix might help the purple stems. Reminds me, mine are due for a Brix.

Have a Rockin day!

:theband:

Thanks ween! I will be giving a Brix today to POK and SKD, what strength would you recommend? First brix since I jumped the gun early in the grow. Maybe that will help with the purple stems too. The green is definitely coming back now though, I have pics coming soon

Update—- so its been about a week since I increased temps and 5 days since they leveled at 82-84. SKD and AML have new growth that looks much more green. But POK it is very evident in the new growth. I’m sure because it is in the stretch phase and is growing so fast. Higher temps definitely seem to be helping speed up growth as well. Things seem to be going pretty well at the moment

Here is the pic I took quick when I was pressing out the test run. Came out a great amber, not quite the return I had hoped for though. Anywho that’s why I have been so absent. Thanks for following along

Hey CD! I'd say mix up 4ml of Brix in 4 oz of water. you should have some left over so maybe do less...? Sometimes it gets hard to spray the undersides of the leaves if there is not enough liquid in the sprayer. Always mix at 1ml of Brix per 1 oz of h2o.

:passitleft:

Thanks man will do. I was just wondering if I should mix it weak or not. I will scale that down half or so. I use a flairisol bottle which works great for a fine mist. But yea the bottle sucks ass. Currently looking for a narrower bottle that the sprayer will fit on... haha

Hey CD. It is a good idea to make it weaker as opposed to stronger but no need to go as low as half, maybe go with 3ml of brix to 4 oz of h2o.

Oh sorry no, I meant do half of both amounts. I ended up mixing up 2ml into 2 oz water and gave them a good spraying.

While I was down there I was checking them all over and am noticing AML is definitely looking weak. She is due for a full transplant drench when dry, hopefully that helps. But honestly SKD looked the exact same before she got transplanted to the 7 gal pots. I checked AML and roots are growing out the bottom... considering transplanting and doing transplant drench all together tomorrow. I have had much better luck in the 7 gal pots so far...

Perfect on the Brix! Is it just the small one that's still in the #1? How old is it? It's reccomended to leave the plants in the #1's as long as is needed to build up a very good root mass. Transplanting early could lead to problems but your right, they love it when they get more solid to play in. So how old is it and can you post a couple pics of the plant in question?

Yup, only one left in #1. She sprouted on Jan 24th. This is a pic from two days ago now, I will get another one today when lights come on.

Update—-

Sorry the updates are still so few and far between, still processing my buddies friends old trim. Now on to to the girls!

POK- doing great flowering in the rolling tent. I have her tied down and the lights as high as I can get them for now. Sunday marked the end of the 2nd week of flower. Due today for straight water and left off with GE. Not quite sure on the best timing for giving the cat drenches, so any help there is greatly appreciated! 21-28 days is what I kind of have in mind, am I way off?

SKD- This baby really came back with a vengeance. She is looking great and just got a good pruning the other night along with AML. I am noticing some clawing leaves and some with a little yellowing and twisting, I am hoping the straight water today helps take care of that. She is ready to flower, but I am hoping for AML to get a bit bigger before flipping the switch. Unless that might put SKD at risk of getting root bound before the end?

AML- she was looking pretty rough at the last update. She was transplanted to 7 gal and given a rescue drench. Green is coming back to the older growth and new growth looks strong. She did not get brix with last spraying, her first will be the next brix spraying.

I will be doing a de stress for AML and SKD today or tomorrow, how far in to flowering do you guys usually use de stress and brix respectively? POK seems to be firing on all cylinders right now, so I am skipping de stress this round for her.

Let me know how I am doing here guys! Sorry I didn’t have time to do amounts and dates for all of this back log, hopefully when the trim is all processed I can get back to daily updates!!

Now for pictures!!

Quick update before I have time for a real update-

Oh no nanners!! I have been watching purple orange kush like a hawk because I knew it was prone to hermie. No pollen sacs showing up by the nodes or anything, but I think I may be seeing nanners. And if that is the case they are a plenty!!

If someone can identify these as nanners that would be great!

If they are in fact nanners I think it is pretty early in their development. They seem to be concentrated at the top of the top buds, which leads me to believe the stresser would be heat/light related.

I am thinking about cutting off the top buds that have nanners on them and letting the rest keep growing? I’m not concerned about a few seeds in this bud, but I don’t want it pollinating SKD and AML in the tent right by it. If nanners keep popping up on the other buds then the whole plant may get harvested soon.

Please please let me know whether you think these are nanners or if I am just being paranoid! And any advice on what to do with it from here is appreciated! Thanks fam
