First Grow! 1500W COB LED All Tips And Advice Wanted

If you're in flower you can't give it too much light. You can give it too much heat from light being too closer but 20" with a box light is fine. Looks like nutrient burn. More light might help the using of nutrients. I would've flushed just pH balanced water for a couple days then resume. This will help plant balance and flush roots.

One of those pictures looks like a calcium deficiency but the rest just look like nute burn. I'd back down towards the 1000 mark or a little under until it picks back up then experiment raising it later in flower when the flowers are actually using it.

Thanks man I did back way off just did a feed at like 950 and I tested the runoff was about 1100. I've been using bloom city cal mag right along since the beginning I'm at 5ml per gallon now so idt it's that I think it was a combo of nute burn and the intensity of the 4 lights I had them down around 18" but the 3 leds are really strong there back up to 24ish now. I'm ordering an infared thermometer from amazon until I can affoard a par meter it should help atleast know if I'm to close.

Resuming week 5 of flower:
So I'm pretty sure I got everything under control the girls had nute burn pretty bad but there resiliant I'm back to feeding again but half strength seem to be good ph is 6.4 ppm 1200 I'm sure I slowed down the growth prolly hurt my yeild but oh well what can ya do my first grow I'm actually surprised at the amount of visible trichomes..

So the shark plants in the back are turning purple.. the one in the back left the tops have almost all turned purple the one on the right is starting to turn. I was told it can be from the high ph of fox farm soil to bring it down to a 6.2 so all nutrients can be uptake. I'm thinking I got another 3-4 weeks left depending on what the trichomes look like.

I've def learned my lesson with over feeding an having lights to close with this grow I cant wait to start flowering the next run. I went hydro for the next batch of flower I've had amazing results so far in my veg closet an it's just easier to fix any issues.

Can we get a closeup of one of those buds ?

Not the best but I'm fairly confident that the next batch is gona be fire and some big girls last pic is the veg closet with the cob led I recently built for next to nothing the gorilla glue is loving it so far it's a full spectrum 50w cob they draw 63watts on my meter the cob was supposed to be 3000k but I got 4 used like new for like 23 bucks and they came as full spectrum no biggie gona order a 10 pack of 3000k for the flower tent these should work fine for my veg and seedlings even if they dont put out as much light as a regular cob and driver there so cheap you can build a whole rig on a big heatsink just gotta be careful with the 110ac..

Foxtails can either be genetic or from stress (light or heat). The buds look good now and with the nute issue under control I think they're going to turn out great. Nice purple leaves on that back left! My Blue Treacle auto leaves went such a dark purple at the end they almost looked black.
I’m gonna get one , I see blue treacle auto . There so many names of plants couldn’t count them . I knew you’d want to see this one !

I like the look of foxtail buds, though only genetically caused ones mind you...not stressed ones :).
Soo much to learn , Mikesem420 was wanting to know why his are turning purple?

@InTheShed what kind of sorcery is that!?!? Thoses are some serious buds lol I'm pretty sure it's temp stress lately it's been super cold it got down to 65 in the tent then during the day it would get up to 75-78 depending on the day so that's like a 10 degree swing I just dont want the bud to come out bunk it looks pretty good in person but I know that can be deciving..

That, my good man, is 6 ounces off an LST auto (see my sig for my LST training tutorial)!

10 degree swings are actually recommended from lights on to lights off, and 65 is fine for a low. It's about the bottom (though mine get down to 58º...not ideal!) but 65 is fine. However, 65º temps can bring out the colors in the buds and the leaves. Not a problem at all.

Oh, and I don't think you will find any bunk in this grow. It should come through just like you wanted!

Wow that's awesome dude hopefully ill get there I did do a full lst on the 5gal triple diesel. I basically bent the whole plant over from day one now theres a giant knuckle at the base but I didnt pull them out far enough so when i dropped the scrog net everything filled in bushed up no light able to get thru it was a pain to fix it..

Just to clarify, if you got a knuckle that would be high stress training! Supercropping is bending the stem so it knuckles up when it heals, but it does slow down the plant as it recovers. Low stress training doesn't do anything to slow down the growth, which is one of the reasons it's ideal for autos.

Training for a scrog usually starts with topping and then tying out the branches as they grow (tying rather than bending). That way, when you put the net on, you already have a wide plant to continue to feed through the net as it grows. It might have been better after you bent it to wait for all the inside growth to catch up to the mains before lowering the net.

What you have now is a nice even canopy which is perfect! And there's a learning curve with every technique you try on a plant, which is what makes the next grow better. It's like you can't wait for the next plant so you can apply what you've learned :).

Beautiful grow nice dense looking buds, you get what you pay for.

@InTheShed I looked at your lst tutorial maybe I said that wrong cuz I did it exactly like that I meant I topped it then pulled the main stem down then I used these soft wire ties to hold it in position as it grew a big ole knuckle formed at the base over time does that mean I went to aggressive with the lst? i continued to add soft wire ties to hold down an out branches as it grew but I think I put the net down without pulling the branches away from each other enough.
