Do any of you have experience with people who have bought into the stuff on the market called "Miracle CBD Oil"? Just curious on the feedback of this.
A company also called "Miracle Smoke".

CBD "Snake Oil"??? Do you know the % of CBD? 0.03% will do nothing but waste money and make people think they can cure their cancer or ailments.

Despite your quoted disclaimer, the FDA has been testing for at least 2 years

IMO i would stay away from any of these companies pushing " Miracle CBD oil". The reason these companies can ship this oil is that it has such a low CBD % that it is not classified as a Schedule 1 "drug". So in other words it is garbage and the only thing it "might" treat is a mild form of diaper rash. You or I could ship this oil legally if we had it. All these companies are doing is putting false hope and doubts in peoples minds and are hindering the "CCO Movement", Would not surprise me if they has ties with Big Pharma.
 
You all confirmed my suspicions about it. My very first thought was "snake oil". Damn shame that people are believing that stuff, and they continue to sell out of the product.
Well....they SAY they are sold out. I would hope it's more likely they've been stopped for some reasons. If the feds have been testing it, they should take that disclaimer off there.

My brother ran into that ad online yesterday and called me about it. I had not heard of it before.

And BTW, Radogast...thank you SO much for that link. There is a Michigan company there that has several websites/blogs selling that junk and the feds blasted them with the warning letters.
 
I actually went on a CBD oil site( cannot recall the name)to see what bulls##t they had to sell they continued to email me requesting me to buy "they're amazing CBD oil" after i visited the site. I tried to unsubscribe but kept receiving emails until i finally emailed them and started to inquire about the CBD oil which i mentioned was made from the industrial hemp plant . So after that, did not receive another email, I take it they went on to another unsuspecting victim who had little or no knowledge of CCO. They could ship Worldwide which drew a red flag for me. Unfortunately when individuals are desperate they will try anything to prolong life, that's where these "Scam Scums" come in, waiting & preying. Karma is a Bitch.:peace:

Yes, the Miracle CBD Oil people state they can ship worldwide too, because there is nothing illegal in their product. Hmmm.....

Thanks for the report and good for you to question them! I was actually going to send an email to the one (s) in my state that have been blasted with warning letters, draw them in to the game and then ask if their products have been tested by the FDA...just to see what they would say. Bat Rasterd money driven predators!
 
Between the snake oil companies trying to deceive you and truly uninformed people trying to appear they know something..... You really do have to be careful IMO... More often than not the folks listening to the BS being spewd around are reaching for their last option and there are so many of them around you have to do your own homework. You certainly wouldn't want to depend on what is being sent around right now... This is a new frontier and I'm sure it has peeked the interest of more than one con trying to make their fortunes and more than one trying to impress someone... Sad but true.... I honestly believe that if you want the best medicine.... Make your own... That's the only way to be sure you're not getting screwed and at least have a chance of it working...
Hopefully with time will come testing and having to guarantee the quality....:circle-of-love:

Some of those warning letters are about 'unproven' claims for valid CBD oil. They may be selling perfectly reasonable 25%-35% CBD oil with warning letters about making claims that conflict with the official line of 'there is no recognized medical use.' They aren't ALL crooks.
 
Hi Canna and friends....I am just a grower; my patients are usually the ones who make their own oil, tinctures, salves, creams, capsules, and the like...but now I want in to try....basically a scardy cat here...went into the local health food store today to get ingredients to make my mom a pain crème and ended up talking and meeting the owner of the shop....she showed me some of her CBD product....I'm like "what is this product made from?" Really don't know, but remember thinking..."not from my meds".....

Did you look over the labeling? Some of the CBD oil people go under several business names.
I have to go to my local health food store for some things next week, I'm going to have a look see and find out what they have and who makes it.

Hello, I'm HizzyB and was asked/invited by CCOiler to share my story.
I want to say thank you to everyone here who is sharing/paying it forward and ultimately helping to end or I should say to lower the amount of unnecessary pain, suffering and death. Obviously we'll always have the folks who continue on with traditional ways. No disrespect to those who do, love those people just the same, in fact I pray they'll see this and at least have the option.

Ok here goes with the copy-n-paste part:
Well since I'm here and have a few more mins I want to go into our new adventure but first must give you a little peek into the past so it makes sense.
2002 a fractured tail bone and a bunch of other damage from getting into a head on collision (race car vs. concrete wall) at 59 mph started
My use of pain pills. Being a high school teacher and the high end PPO health insurance we used to have paid for really expensive stuff like OxyContin 80 mg
3 a day plus fentynal lozenges and stuff like that. Following year I'm back to work but end up rupturing my lower back (now jobs gone and Were paying for pain relief.) No income at all left me no choice but to pay cash money once a month for Methadone 40mg 3x's a day.
Any of you that have seen or gone thru similar things know where this is headed.
7 surgeries later (3 back 4 leg and 14 years later, oh yeah a spinal cord stimulator) I'm just about off the opiods or what I call the opiod train but what will I use for pain?
CCO. It's been super super tough getting the Tolerance to opiods down to where it is now and to be honest I've been in a constant state of withdrawal for about two years.
Three months ago I went and saw a suboxone dr who wrote a script for the max dosage of buprenorphine 8mg 3x's a day. I've got it down (thanks to a pill cutter and my dr approval and advice) to a sliver of that at 1/8th of a pill three times a day 1mg or as close to it as I can manage three times a day. So now at 3mg every 24 hours I will take it down a mg each two weeks or three depending but what I'm getting at is soon I will be jumping off the "train" hopefully and use our plant in a concentrated fashion for pain relief and other things.

I should also say what brought me here was looking for knowledge and ultimately pain relief. Being a teacher I have a strong passion for teaching and it all just fit in, I'm sure my kids would say it's more of an obsession lol but that's for another day lol.

So back to why I'm posting this, just about broke the bank and spent every penny we've saved upgrading the gardens but managed to pull it together to purchase the equipment to start following in Motoco's footsteps and hopefully be able to stay completely off the stuff. We all know they're a killer and ruin lives everywhere and everyday.

I've got the flowers to start learning (thanks to Croptober lol) so let's get ready to learn.

Should also let you all know that this is all being done on an iPhone as our computers are about done and so is the piggy bank.
Have been gathering some parts to bare bones a system together so hopefully before the years up I can do this in a way that it's easier to SEE! Lol.

I really hope the extra flowers can start saving some lives and prevent cancer with pm (preventive maintenance) doses. Decided that any card carrying patients i know and or caregive for will be gifted CCO as long as I can pay the power bill which you all know now is getting back where it need to be but this time of the year is tough. 3 kids birthdays, Black Friday and Christmas doesn't help

We're saving our pennies for lab tests so we can see how the CCO turns out as well as the solventless which is all
We're medicating with these days.

Your story made me sad at first, but as you progressed with your new direction and your positive foot forward to rid yourself of the Opiods I felt like a good cheer was in order for you. ...well maybe two. :cheertwo::cheertwo:

I will certainly be following along with you, as I'm sure others will.

I have the greatest amount of respect for caregivers and caring growers in general who provide others with the life giving oil at little to no charge. I do the same. It will probably always be that way. Much respect and +reps to you our friend!

Edit: Please don't concern yourself with how often you post or update. We completely understand that people have lives and family they need to attend to, and the majority of us still have to work for a living, which impacts our "free" time. Family comes first! That is about to be a major impact on my time here as well, so I am personally very understanding of your time available.

The majority of the day today was spent working on the dedicated circuit for the mirage pro as it's required to run on its own circuit or the two year warranty is void. Not easy when you working with a sealed up/secure building that's already had power ran and the walls and paint are finished.
Will be done once I get the right double gang box and another outlet.
Super excited to install the 15cuft chest freezer in the office/kitchen and it only takes 2amps per killowatt hour.

Last but far from least I got the water distiller setup and thru it's first cleaning cycle. Should be able to recover up to 80% of the carrier. At $34.50 per 1.75 L will pay for itself in no time.

So far that's about it, other than being patient for an extra week is being added to my hybrids schedule and I'm getting impatient lol

Geez, I thought the price of the carrier was high here, you're almost 10.00 more than what I have to pay. It's certainly not cheap, and reclaiming is the way to go if you can do it.
