Candy Canna Multi-Strain In Candyland

Congrats on a great harvest, candy!
if that SW were mine, I would pull her out, rinse her roots, and give her fresh soil.
^^this...and I'd do the CH+ too. You might consider sterilizing the new soil in the oven to get rid of any bad stuff in there...
The WC,BB,and the KK all look (to me) like they might have a little iron deficiency.
You could soak a nail, screw, staple, etc.(anything that'll rust) in the plant water for 24 hours before you water the plants with it..if it is an iron def., this should fix it. If it isn't an iron def. the extra iron won't hurt anything. (but you'll still have the problem)

Good Luck, candy

Thanks @Carcass , I have a electric smoker and have soil that just get it wet and bugs buzzing in three days . I can lay screen on the trays . I did a major cleaning on the smoker , should be okay ?

Should be just fine- all you really need is the heat.
And I assume the smoker is outdoors, so you won't have the whole house smelling like hot dirt :)

Thanks I can control the heat , what temp would you suggest ?

:ciao:Candycane! I am no expert, but if that SW were mine, I would pull her out, rinse her roots, and give her fresh soil. My 2 cents. Whatever you decide, I hope she survives! :hugs:
Thank you! I just got the deed done! I noticed her roots were pretty brown tho and didn’t think about treating them until I already had her carefully replanted  I saw I could use 3% H202 and an article said it would be safe in an organic garden but then noticed it said food grade..
Love the harvest Candy ,
:thanks: West!
bugs got to go . Did you ever get the sns 209 you can drench the soil with it . It won’t kill them but keeps them from doing a lot of damage
Yes those nasty critters need gone! I didn’t get the 209 because the hydro guy led me to the green cleaner but she was such a muddy mess I didn’t want to put anything else in there. But will remember that if there’s heaven forbid another time.
Congrats on the Pre-98 BK harvest! She looked good even if your current ones don't
:thanks: HG!
. I wish I could help you figure out what's going on with them but I really don't know. Hopefully, more experienced growers will weigh in.
Thank you HG I know you would!

Done except I didn’t sterilize the soil hopefully it’s ok I’ve had it a couple of weeks and have had DE all around the bag and along the side of the bag so fingers crossed!

Thank you again and I’ll give that a try as well!

Does anyone know if you can use regular non food grade 3% H202 diluted 2 to 1 when using the @GeoFlora Nutrients organic fertilizer? Or will it kill off the Organics ? I’m getting mixed messages on google.

I’m wondering because I did spray her down with Neem oil including her roots and from what I looked up it says it can help against root rot. Her roots were just sorta brown not mushy or stinky in any way so maybe with just that she should be ok and I could just give her a light watering with some recharge.. :hmmmm: I already have the top dressing on so she’ll be getting that as well.

I don't know that answer, sorry candy...I think it'd be ok, but that don't mean it is...maybe someone will chime in with a definite answer for you...

Apx 220f for an hour or so- the thinner you spread it, the less time it'll need to heat it all the way through.
If you're going to do a lot of it at once, just get a meat thermometer and heat it till it's 220f all the way through.

:ciao: Hey y’all sorry for the disappearance! I’ve been trying to get things into order around the house before my surgery on Wednesday! I also have more of a garden update but I’m running behind this morning and have to be somewhere pretty quickly but have an SOS!
I lost CH+ sadly she died a couple days after transplant…:( The Skywalker Kush seemed like she was going to do ok but she started taking a turn for the worse yesterday and this morning if I don’t act quickly she will be dead in no time!:(
Here’s some pics and I’ll have a follow up question..

I feel like my only option is to try and do some clones but have never tried on such little ones..has anyone of y’all ever tried and been successful on such short offshoots? Either way she’s going to die maybe worth a try to clone.. I surely don’t know what the heck is going on this round that I was so excited for but this has been just a bag of poop! I’ll finish my weekly update here in a couple of hours but would sure appreciate any tips or tricks or comments. Much love and I’ll catch back up here very very shortly!

I’d say go for it on the cloning, you’ve really got nothing to lose. I’d take a couple of cuts off her one from the top and one lower down. Honestly I’ve found from my limited cloning experience that the smaller cuts tend to root faster.

:ciao: Hey y’all sorry my day went a little haywire yesterday but I did get all 6 cuts and hoping at least one will take so far this morning they are all still alive. All the pics I’m gonna post are from yesterday. It’s been busy busy around the cane house trying to get everything in order since I’ll be a lil restricted for a bit. I’ll be trying to get caught up with everyone once my next couple of days settles down!
Here’s some pics of the cuttings from last night. I’ve got them in a dome with a T5 light overhead. I’ve never done em this small and from such a frail plant so fingers crossed!

On 3/18/22 I harvested the GSC

Here’s my last 2 girls in flower! They’ve still got a couple of weeks to go! I really left to much on them especially the CK.. sooo gonna have more larf at the bottom than usual but next time I’ll make sure to not be in such a hurry when prepping! CK smells absolutely scrumptious! Almost like sweet and lemony can’t fully pin it down.

And last but not least we have the rest of the nursery.. what’s left of it anyway! The WC seems to be greening up but the BB is still some funky colors and one of her first true leaves is looking questionable.. They stay fairly perky to really perky and are drinking normally so I’m hoping it’s nothing too serious. I have them both on 2gr/g MC. I did add a lil bit of the soaked nail water as @Carcass suggested with their feed today so we’ll see if that changes anything. I’m just hoping whatever is happening with that one leaf at the bottom on the BB doesn’t continue to spread.. :nervous-guy:
The KK is growing extremely slowly and her colors are also off but I did notice a new node finally starting after days of nothing new on her. Here’s some pics from yesterday for proof of life. They look the same just a bit perkier today.

This grow has really tested me…I have learned to be more careful when storing soil even tho it was in a clean room that doesn’t necessarily mean things can’t get in there an wreak havoc! Lesson definitely learned! I’m still baffled what’s going on with the girls that are left with their coloring but I’m hoping it either just resolves or I get it figured out. Thank you all for being there, for the company, and for all the help along the way! I’ll be trying to get caught up best I can over the next couple of days then I’ll be laid up for a few days at least so should definitely be able to do some real catching up! Much love and hope y’all have a wonderful day, evening or night! :peace::love::Namaste:

:ciao: Candy! Your older gals are looking on the cusp of harvest! So sorry you have had such a test this grow. Hopefully while you are recuperating from your surgery and going thru journals and planning your next grow you might have an “aha” moment and figure out what the real problem (s) were this time. I can’t imagine how frustrating it must be for you along with being in pain from your shoulder. Good luck with the surgery. :hugs::love:

Thank you Boo! :love::hugs:

I think I just figured out my most recent problem in the garden this time too! My nose has been stuffy for a bit and I finally got that situated and took a whiff of the gallon of water that I keep the mosquito bits soaking in and got a slight whiff of mildew!:smokin2:SMH ..I’m glad I at least figured it out! I always smell the water but didn’t catch it till now. Now off too research how to fix it!:nomo::lot-o-toke:

Wishing you well through your procedure, and recovery, CC. Looks as if you’ll have lots of meds to help you through!
:passitleft:
Thank you Dutch! :passitleft:

I hope your surgery goes smoothly and your recovery goes swiftly.

Congrats on another great looking harvest Candy! Nice to be all stocked up on meds while you recover from your surgery.

How much PPFD are the nursery girls getting? I’m thinking less is more right now while they get themselves back on track.

Good luck with the new clones!

Congrats on the GSC harvest, Candy and best of luck to you tomorrow with your shoulder surgery. Hope your recovery is quick and easy. :hugs:

Congrats on the harvest CC and good luck with the surgery.

:thanks: N and yes it’s most definitely nice to be stocked up!

I turned them down awhile back to just under 40% of the power and the PPFD is at 153 on the bigger ones and 135 on the smaller one.
Good luck with the new clones!
Thank you! I don’t want to jinx it but they are looking pretty good so far! It’s hard to see in the pics but they have some upper leaves praying! They were so tiny it was so nerve wracking to take the cuts, scrape the sides and dip em in the clonex and get em in the holes!

Congrats on the GSC harvest, Candy and best of luck to you tomorrow with your shoulder surgery. Hope your recovery is quick and easy. :hugs:
:thanks: HG :hugs:My shoulder bothers me but I’m having a carpal and cubital tunnel revision surgery. I had surgery on them a few years ago and the issues came back with a vengeance! (My hand and my funny bone area) He told me I may have to quit wood working but the PT lady told me to wear some shock absorbing gloves whenever I use the machinery and to just be smart about it. I love working with my hands so I’m definitely gonna have to make some tweaks.
