Candy Canna Multi-Strain In Candyland

Hi Candy!
Great update. Lots going on, and all in all things look good with the flowering ones.
Super Silver Haze seems like maybe her bottom leaves might be asking for a little more food. SSH is still currently on 4gr/g MC with 1ml/g Calimagic.
My suggestion would be to drop the calmag now and increase the MC by 1 gram. You now know you are at the low end of feeding with MC and when you take out the calmag you need to add more N and ca to make up for it. A half gram would cover the difference of removing the calmag, and the other half gram is to increase the food for her.
KKF Wedding Cake 50-55 days and Liberty Haze 60-65 days. They are still on 5gr/g MC with 5mls/g Calimagic
Yet the SSH puked on it.

Hi,Candy!
I use the mosquito dunks (half a dunk to 5 gallons water), but @13goody13 uses the bits- maybe he'll chime in with the dosage...

I looked over the (very nice) trich pics- lots of cloudy, but little if any amber yet...
Saw a couple of the seeds on the WC- it doesn't look like producing seeds affected her much, at least not trichome-wise- she's gonna be a heavy hitter!
:thanks: & That’s kinda what I was seeing too as far as trich readiness. On WC she still got fairly chunky and very frosty even tho she got pregnant would love to have seen how chunky she could have been if that CL wouldn’t have impregnated her. Looking forward to her smoke tho nonetheless
I mix a little (1/2 cup or so) into the top couple inches of soil in my 3g pot. I put about a TSP per gallon in my water and let it sit overnight if possible before I add nutes. I don’t feed with it every time because sometimes I can’t wait and I just mix nutes without it, but probably 80% of the time it’s in there.
I also bottom water about 80% of the time, once roots are spread out and well established.
Right now I am lucky and have 0 new gnats on my yellow paper. Thanks to the time of year and the bits, their cycle is broken.
:thanks: For the info! I’ll start mixing that into their feed and I’ll be sure to mix some into the top soil in the future! Looking forward to the cooler weather mostly to get rid of the annoying flying critters but I’m in southern Oklahoma so it may be awhile..

:thanks: Makes perfect sense and I’ll get her fixed up on her next feed!

Hi Candy! Wow! You have some fine looking plants there, can't wait to see the harvest pics!
:thanks: Hutch! This run kinda has given me a run for my money! I’ll be glad when it’s over honestly but just happy to be getting them across the finish line

:ciao: Update
Starting with the 2x4 I’ve had them both on 5gr/g MC for 2 feeds. ST has been on 5gr/g for about 6-7 feeds. SSH doesn’t seem to be getting any worse so that’s a good thing. ST has one leaf showing some deficiency that I hadn’t noticed until today it’s down lower not up top.(about almost midway up. ) Anywho here’s some pics :ciao:

That’s all fer the 2x4 I’m gonna post the 4x4 in the next post. :green_heart:

The 4x4 girls are really starting to fade crazy fast..I took trich pics of all of them so please forgive all the pics! I feel like I may see some ambers but I could be biased on that..Any extra eyes would be super appreciated.
Starting with Killer Kush Fast day 66 of 12/12

Sooo many pics I’ll do the next one in another post!

Next up is Wedding Cake day 66 of 12/12

Only one more I promise!

Last but not least Liberty Haze day 66 of 12/12

Thank you all for stopping by and I hope you all are having a great week!
I appreciate all of ya’s:peace::love::Namaste:
I’m gonna try and get caught back up on journals here in a bit!

Hi Candy!
It's really hard for me to tell in pics, and more often then not I'm not checking my own. I just wait until the hairs turn and start to curl back in since I'm not too concerned if one down has more cloudy then the next.
If I was to guess the Wedding Cake looked like it could go a little longer and maybe the LH. The LH looks like clears but I thought I could see amber too so I dunno.
Not much of a help, I know.

Hi cc :ciao: Glad those funky flower kids are making it through to the finish for you. TBH - when you posted the first pics (back in august but that I just saw a minute ago) of the spotty leaves I thought it could have been bites from mitea or thrips :hmmmm: Longvtime past the moment but thought I’d mention it, just in case.

regardless, they’re rolling nicely towards finish

I have been getting better at tracking the smells for harvest too. Things can change a lot around the finish and then it seems to settle and this can be the moment to chop. And a broad cannabinoid profile is a good thing. I only try to make sure there aren’t too many clear trichs, and if enough other indicators are there, I go for it.

Any news about the insurance appeal? Just crazy to have to wait like that. Keep hanging in there. It’s amazing how long we can do that for and still eek out some kind of quality of life. I am about 70%bed bound ATM - all my ‘up’ time goes to the garden  Sending good vibes your way!!

Hi,Candy! I know I'm 3 days late- they may be ready by now, but in the pics from Tuesday, I don't really see any amber...plenty of cloudy though, so it won't be too long before you need to bust out the trimmers....

Lol thank you for trying and A for effort! You’re always a help silly :hugs: I’m with you too on the LH and was planning on giving her the chop last. Thank you for the tip on the hairs too!

Hi back atcha Amy :ciao: I’m so glad this crazy run is almost done! On those spots I initially thought the same thing about bugs but I did scope her and didn’t see anything but it’s always possible I missed something. I am going to be giving these tents a good scrubbin before this next round moves in

Thank you  and still no news on the appeal...going to call the insurance tomorrow and see if I can get some sort of answer as quality of life is pretty much non existent, but hanging in there best I can. Just not myself lately and it sucks. I’m sad to hear about you and sending lots of good healing vibes your way as well:love: What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger right!

:thanks: and better late then never :green_heart: I’m thinking I’m gonna chop KKF this weekend and recheck the other two in a few days!

:ciao: Update I chopped KKF on Sunday then today my brother came by and helped me harvest WC and LH.
KKF 10/4

Wedding Cake & Liberty Haze 10/5

I was quite hoping to end this note on a happy one that I got these girls thru harvest and still managed to squeeze out some decent sized nugs but just before lights out I was quickly checking over the ST and SSH and I found a nanner on both ST and SSH:( they are on day 56 of 12/12 and wouldn’t be a big deal this late in the game but I currently have 2 plants in veg that are almost 3 ft tall and desperately need to get them into flower ASAP as my tent is only 7ft tall. It’s the Blue Cheese and Alpine Star CBD that are described as short squaty plants..the Blue cheese isn’t supposed to stretch much but with the luck I’ve been having I don’t trust that..Since the 2x4 has kinda been a sh&$ Show for me anyway I think I’m just going to chop them two and take whatever I get out of them so I can get this next round moved over and pray for better luck.. I don’t know what caused the nanners, VPD has remained in range and haven’t had any light leaks.. possibly light stress, possibly just feeling my energy..who knows but I do need to figure it out so it doesn’t happen again.. Here’s a shot of the veg room And I apologize for the crap pics I struggled to take them just a lil while ago. They are normally perkier but it’s almost their bedtime and they are getting tired.

I’ve been struggling with anxiety and depression pretty bad lately from the massive amount of pain that is starting to wear me down and I’m thinking after this last rough run I’m gonna be taking a lil break for a minute for popping any seeds until this next round is done and start doing just 6 at a time until I can get some sort of quality of life back and get this pain under control.
Much love and appreciation to all:love:

Congrats on the harvests Candy! I'm sure you wish you were in better spirits to enjoy your hard work. It wasn't all that bad a shit show as you said. With everything that's going on you're doing a fantastic job with those plants. Always look forward to the next ones.
Let's hope that nanner thing is a thing of the past. Maybe they are going too long in flower. Are they in the window for harvesting based on breeder's info?

Oof. I can barely manage four. I applaud you, but quality of life is important. Six is still a lot imo for you, or anyone dealing with pain and depression daily. No way to cut back to four and work back up? I've not walked a mile in your shoes so my advice is useless, but I do believe less is more when having to deal with daily struggles, as you are at the moment.
I hope things get better soon for you. :hugs:

:thanks:It was a rough run and I wish I felt better about it too! :lot-o-toke:I’m hoping those nanners are definitely a thing of the past :meditate:Based on the breeders info the Sour Tangie was 8-9 weeks i believe and the Super Silver Haze was 9-11 weeks and I was only on day 56 of 12/12 so still fairly early unfortunately but once they dry I’ll know if it was a wash or not.. I’m really hoping for a decent smoke out of the SSH especially as the nugs on that one were super dense already! I’ve got more SSH seeds and will definitely be adding that strain back into the next run.

Thank you I truly appreciate you’re kind words and You’re probably right! :love:I figured if I cut my my grow in half doing 6 instead of 12 it would be more manageable. I was wanting to do more CBD but could probably find a balance of THC strains and CBD worked into a 4 plant system. I’ll see how this run goes and see how the PT I just started goes along with hopes of insurance approval on the stimulator goes and decide from there. You’re advice is never useless and is always very much appreciated!:hugs:

Right back atcha bubs!

Nice harvest Candy!

I had nanners in my sour diesel all the way through early flower and they were completely sterile. I ignored them because I wasn’t physically able to deal with them and there were no seedy consequences so I have every faith your garden will be fine! Nanners can seed a crop but they are also very often sterile.

Really hope you get some relief from the sheer relentlessness soon

Such beautiful nugs gotta help

:thanks: Amy I appreciate the kind words and the info on sterile nanners! I just saw the nanners (was 1 I saw on SSH and 2 on ST) freaked out and chop chop. I got a letter in from the insurance today and there was a signature missing on the appeal apparently from the Dr’s office so now I’ve gotta wait till Monday to find out if they have remedied that. I’m definitely looking forward to trying out some of those nugs and that’s for sure. I hope all is well over on your side of the world!
