Candy Canna Multi-Strain In Candyland

Well you're not the first one struggling with Promix. I see it so often and I'm not sure why either. I have the same program as many others here but work in soil and the plants seem to thrive. There's something definitely happening in Promix runs, but it doesn't appear to be a pH drift every time as yours is well within range.
Thank you! That’s good to know :green_heart:I mean it sucks that other people are having issues but good to know it’s not just me. I will probably be maybe looking into something else for my next startup just to try something different. I like the fact that you don’t have to fret over PH’ing but I just haven’t had super luck with it yet.. I reckon I’ll see if I have the same issues on the ones in veg once they go into flower...
Absolutely beautiful work as always Candy! Such chunky plants.. I hope you get the yellowing sorted out! Your garden always inspires me even you I still gotta go back a ways to catch up!

That killer kush is the shizzle.. your plant makes me wanna pop another seed and dare I say stuff 9 plants into my little ass tent lol Hope all is blessed MsCandy!

:passitleft:
:thanks: Sunny that’s super sweet of you to say! I’ve got a lot of catching up on journals to do as well and your garden is always rockin! :ganjamon: I hope all is blessed for you too!:peace::love::Namaste:
:passitleft:

I see you lurkin' around! How are you and the plants doing?
:ciao: I’m hanging in there and the plants are same same. SSH looks like crap but since the decreased feed she doesn’t appear to be getting any worse. I’ll try and get some pics up tomorrow. I hope all is well on your side of the world and thank you for checking in :)I didn’t see this till kinda late so it may be tomorrow when you see this.:Namaste:

I got it! Stupid SSH. Imma gonna come over and kick her pot if she doesn't smarten up. Make sure you give her that message.

:laughtwo: I’ll relay that message to her first thing tomorrow! Thanks for the chuckle! :ganjamon:

:ciao: Update and @MrSauga i relayed the message and she’s a sassy one said “no one tells me what to do” guess that explains her attitude with the nutrients...Here’s some pics of the wild children!
4x4 all still getting 5gr/g MC with 5mls/g Calimagic. I also took some soso trich pics of the Killer Kush Fast as she’s in the “window per breeder” mostly just to get use to the new stand I got in! :thanks: Again btw @Heavenly Hybrid and @Virgin Ground! Love it:love: I’ll pull her outta the tent next time to get better views but she was just fed and way to heavy!

Then onto the 2x4..I fed 5gr/g to ST (Forgot I was at 5.5gr/g) but she doesn’t look any worse as of right now and 4gr/g MC with 1ml/g Calimagic to SSH on the 13th. SSH looked like she does now on that day I don’t think she has gotten any worse since then. Trying to keep an eye on any of the decent leaves she has left.. I will be growing this one again next seed drop!

That’s all I’ve got for the day folks! Veggers are still just veggin and looking like they should be!
Thank you all for stopping by and for the support as I surely do appreciate each and everyone of ya’s! :peace:  :Namaste:

That’s weird Mr. S, I can see them fine. Maybe it’s a Canadian thing, eh? ;)
lol, sometimes the pixels are held up at customs but they've cleared now and I can see them again.

OK Candy, how are you? As much as the plant has suffered the bud production looks pretty damn good on all of them. The SSH hopefully has stopped crisping leaves. Go ahead and take those badly damaged ones off the top too if you like. The fact that the damage stopped is a good sign they were getting too much of something. I'd guess Ca as it's most likely to effect the other nutrients.

That LH almost looks like root issues with the random leaf yellowing. Typically the fade would start from the bottom and work up but I see a yellow leaf here and a yellow leaf there and no real pattern to it. Nothing you can do if it is but it would be good to see the ball at the end to see if that was the issue.

Have you decided if you are going to run Promix again next round?

:(
Weird. Every other journal and the pics are loading fine. This place is needs an exorcism I think.
:laughtwo: Probably does!

Did you get a tripod CC? Is that the stand you were mentioning?
Yes indeed it is the tripod! I couldn’t think of the name of it yesterday so I said stand :laughtwo: man my memory for names of things has had it out for me lately!

:thanks:Me, I’m a bit of a mess but hanging in there. The Bud production thankfully doesn’t seemed too fazed by the tragedy. I’ll take those crisped out leaves off now that I know it’s ok as I’ve wanted to thinking it might help see how things are progressing a lil better and they surely aren’t much help at this point.

I thought the randomness was kinda weird too :hmmmm: I’ll definitely be inspecting her root ball on chop day.
Have you decided if you are going to run Promix again next round?
I’m still on the fence.. the next round going into flower is already in Promix so if they start freaking out in flower I will definitely be switching as it will tell me that we aren’t a good pair together. Still unsure of what medium I’d go to tho. I’d like to do coco again but until they get my health and pain under control it’s a no go for daily waterings. Any suggestions on mediums? Yours always look beautiful till the end.

Oof. I want to say good, but hanging in there's not good unless you're waiting on one number to win the lottery. I hope things un-mess for you soon. :(

My goto is Fox Farm Ocean Forest but for cost reasons I use Nature's Care Organic Potting Soil for under 10 bux a bag CAD. I cut it with 25% vermiculite before use.

It works just as good as FFOF imo.

:thanks: for the info and as far as I can recall you still feed the same when the first leaves open up right?

I don't start feeding until the second set of leaves are exposed, and then I'm at 1g/gal. I try and work up to 4 or 4.5g before flip and never go past that until something tells me to. I think I am at day 17 of flower and I'm running 4.5g's for the last few weeks.

:ciao: Update time! I’ll start with the veggers as I haven’t put them up in a hot minute but they are doing well and the Alpine Star CBD and Blue Cheese are outgrowing their space in width! Fast vigorous growth on them two! I transplanted Sour D and Badazz OG Cheese back on the 18th and they are still on 2.5gr/g MC and are on day 37. The bigger girls are all 3.7gr/g as of this last feed. Planning on bumping to 4gr/g when I flip them as soon as the tents open and are cleaned thoroughly. I took all these pics yesterday but ran outta steam to post. Here they be and they really do look much better in person. Also thinking I need another light in there as the two gals on the ends I have to keep spinning so all areas get enough light...Maybe on the next run I can get some stuff moved around and sorted out.

Now onto the 2x4 flower girls! DAY 44 of 12/12. Sour Tangie seems stable at 5gr/g and Super Silver Haze seems like maybe her bottom leaves might be asking for a little more food. SSH is still currently on 4gr/g MC with 1ml/g Calimagic. I didn’t take all of her bad leaves off just the ones that had zero green on them that were to far gone.

Then there’s the 4x4 flower girls on day 61 of 12/12 and roughly 54 days of flowering. They are really starting to yellow out. KKF looks beautiful with the purple almost black leaves but dannng! Breeder stated 7-8 weeks for KKF Wedding Cake 50-55 days and Liberty Haze 60-65 days. They are still on 5gr/g MC with 5mls/g Calimagic. Still a shame WC got seeded her buds are still pretty fat but I could imagine they could have been a lot fatter with the impregnating. I do want to make seeds again some day but not from one that hermied on its own. I made seeds during my first run over at my old friends house because I wound up with a male I couldn’t kull him so she took him and I gave her a clone to impregnate. Now I’m side tracked sorry bout that! Overall they are all just about ready and I did take some trich shots that I’m gonna put in another post of WC & KKF.

Thanks for stopping by! I appreciate everyone of ya’s! Peace love and happiness to all! :peace::love::Namaste:
I’ll be posting the trich pics momentarily if anyone wants to lend me some of their opinions on them.

Trich pics! First time I actually enjoyed taking trich pics still so thankful for the tip on that tripod thang! Here they be, still trying to get things sorted but hopefully these are better
The pics are labeled with what Bud is what. I appreciate any extra eyes and thoughts :green_heart:First up is KKF

Next up is WC

Thanks again fer looking! :peace::love::Namaste:

Also I got some mosquito bits. How much do y’all use if you’re putting it into your feeding regime? They aren’t crazy bad or anything ATM but I have noticed an increase in them around the house and I rather be safe than sorry.

Hi,Candy!
I use the mosquito dunks (half a dunk to 5 gallons water), but @13goody13 uses the bits- maybe he'll chime in with the dosage...

I looked over the (very nice) trich pics- lots of cloudy, but little if any amber yet...
Saw a couple of the seeds on the WC- it doesn't look like producing seeds affected her much, at least not trichome-wise- she's gonna be a heavy hitter!

I mix a little (1/2 cup or so) into the top couple inches of soil in my 3g pot. I put about a TSP per gallon in my water and let it sit overnight if possible before I add nutes. I don’t feed with it every time because sometimes I can’t wait and I just mix nutes without it, but probably 80% of the time it’s in there.
I also bottom water about 80% of the time, once roots are spread out and well established.
Right now I am lucky and have 0 new gnats on my yellow paper. Thanks to the time of year and the bits, their cycle is broken.
