Candy Canna Multi-Strain In Candyland

What!?! He AS has purps!?!
That's a cool bonus.

The plants all look great dear.
I hate surgery. I've been putting mine off for for too long.
They wanted to try a bunch of expensive bs first too.
When I crack my neck just turning it and it wants to lock into position, that's beyond what pills and massages can help.
I do better self medicating.

If you get too anxious, you can always bend my ear.

Most definitely! It was an exciting and unanticipated beautiful addition

:thanks: I’ve been trying to be on top of things best I can :green_heart:

I hate surgery too, I’ve had a total of 11 throughout my life and it’s never any fun. Although I do look forward to the complete short feeling of euphoria when they first infuse the sleepy time juice. I’ve tried everything to help from natural to injections, even the weed isn’t touching this specific squeezing rib crushing fun. I’m terribly sorry to hear about your battles as well and hope you get some feeling better soon and find the right therapeutic to help make your days easier :hug:

Thank you so very much ! I’m mostly just anxious about the recovery and having the inplant permanently implanted in my spinal cord. I’ve always been very independent and keep myself busy multitasking like woodworking. Arts and crafts, exercising etc..I’ve had to look at it like this been dealing with the non-stop rib vice gripping for months now and it’s put me out the game of doing what I love and with the surgery all the pain and restrictions will just be temporary and will hopefully allow me to get back to doing and enjoying the things I love diving into. I’m here for you too if you ever need anything at all sweets!:hug:

I had the trial stimulator leads removed today and the permanent placement surgery is scheduled for the 24th.
That's not too far off! I was thinking maybe a year or so. Great to hear.

You can try bumping the feed up on the BC to 5 or 5.5g. It looks like a def starting to sneak up on you, just not sure what.

Absolutely and thankful it’s that quick!

:thanks: I was kinda thinking she may need a bump she’s a monster! Was supposed to be a short squaty gal but turned out completely opposite.

Yup, she's big alright! The margins are burning which is a sign of a K def but it's supposed to start at the bottom. So you have room to play now anyhow since you've been really good at not overfeeding during veg.

:ciao: I was able to get some pics of the garden yesterday so thought I’d give a lil update and show proof of life!
I’ll start in the 4x4 they were on day 39 of 12/12 yesterday when I took the pics. As of right now I have Blue Cheese on 5gr/g , Alpine Star CBD I lowered to 4.2gr/g as she didn’t seem to like the 4.5 dose. Critical Kush and GSC are on 4.7gr/g . With the funky ness of the leaves I’m going to try and get a slurry test done and check at intervals up to 24 hours to see where the PH is sitting and make sure that’s not the issue.

The 2x4 was on day 15 of 12/12 when these pics were taken yesterday. So far they have been doing well and seem happy and are currently on 3.7gr/g .

I hope everyone is well and blessed and I miss messing around on here and hope to be back full time soon! Thank you all for your support and for taking the time to stop by as I appreciate everyone of you!:peace::love::Namaste:

Highya Candy
Plants look great.
Wow. Your Sour D is so much different than the one I grew. Crazy phenos.
Who was the breeder for yours again?

Your crop is looking great, Candy!
How are you doing?

Hiya Candy! Good to see you making a post and keeping us updated on your grow. They do look amazing as everyone mentioned. Of course I'm not happy unless I can poke my nose in. The issue with the top funky leaves is not nute related. That's such a low feed at 4.5g and 5g for them not to like it.
It will be nice to see what your levels are. I'm a betting man, and I typically lose, but I'm going with a 6.5-6.6 pH level for you results.
I hope you're doing well!

Always a pleasure seeing you around Candy, and your flowers always look incredible. Hope you and family are well :green_heart:
:thanks: Sparkey it’s always a pleasure to have you stop by! I hope all is well with you and yours too! :green_heart:

:thanks: Carcass! The buds are building thankfully but the leaves have seen better days :lot-o-toke:
How are you doing?
I’m hanging in there some days are better then others. Surgery is Monday so I’m bouncing back and forth between beyond readiness and nervousness. Ready to get the pain under control and get my independence back. I hope all is well with you and yours as I’m seriously behind on everyone’s journals! :green_heart:

And I’m sad if you don’t poke your nose in so looks like a win win!

The only one I was actually worried about over feeding was the Alpine Star CBD as it gave a strong warning that she doesn’t require or like much nutes at all. But I definitely agree there’s too much going on up top with all the leaves for it to be nute related.

So far the one hour Slurry test came out at 5.4-5.5 (this was on the Blue Cheese) I’ll check again in a few then again at 24 hours and see where it ends up!
I hope you're doing well!

OK, that's a few points on the low side and may explain a lot. Let's wait and see for the other results to come in. In the meantime I'm gonna look around and see what can be done to boost up the pH.

Hi CC! Garden is looking gorge, hopefully you can whip that one back into shape before your surgery. Good luck with that, I know the recovery is so lame, but I’m really excited and hopeful you will come out so much better on the other side of it. Sending you :love:!!

I did the 24 hour check and it came out to 5.9 which is normal :hmmmm: I did double check that the tester was properly calibrated before the first check and the last check and it was...back to confused

Welp, dropping the MC may be the ticket which you are doing. Not much you can do outside of a reset, and you don't want to do that every time. Did you use MC with coco back in the day?

I was really hoping to have a legit reasoning on the leaf issues..I’ve been trying to find the link to when I started having issues in flower. I was using MC when I was growing in COCO..I think my first issues with the leaves started back on my second run using the Promix if I’m remembering correctly.. I was really thinking it had to be a PH issue and we finally caught it then it no such luck. The issue seems to be starting right around the 5-6th week of flower..Fed on the low side and always to a good run off..ugh I’ll be switching mediums on my next run so I reckon I’ll see if that has anything to do with it. Thank you for trying to help me with these fickle girls.

You're not the only one who experiences this. Sometimes it can get corrected, other times you're chasing your tail. It appears to happen with grower's using Promix as their substrate more than any other media. I've always been a soil guy and I've never struggled with the issues that I see others get even when they are using the stuff correctly.
You may want to look at Geoflora for something that is just as easy to use MC, if not easier. You may find your problems disappear. I think you can get a free sample of that and they are a sponsor too.

touched on this in my thread as well.

i'm in hempy and i hit a wall about mid flower with MC. so it's not just promix. i run really hard through most of my grows though. i usually wind up on the hot side of the scale and just ride it out til the end, but it is white knuckle for sure.

think i'm gonna run with BE this time. if i get my shit straight in time for flower. next run for certain. we surmise the extra N so prevalent in MC is causing things to heat a bit much. BE is pretty much just MC balanced for flower with less N.

very little BE is used with the MC, and you drop so little MC to make head room, that we figure this has got to be in play.

at any rate, i'm giving it a shot at some point. i have enough MC and perlite to be hempy until retirement at least. damn that stuff was cheap.. :p
