Canadian Growers Group & Friends

The only thing that changed with legalization in any country, Is that the cannabis went from the hands of the criminal black market and into the hands of the criminal corporate market, All while under the flag of so called ... What's good for the people and societies well being. Like the brewery industry the cannabis industry should have allowed craft growers to help grow for larger corporation's... That way we would have had very little or no shortages in product like we have seen with seeds and clones and dried flower, This is because LP growers are only allowed a certain amount of area and production to exist in their facilites to grow and produce certain products and can't afford to change their production facility only at a great cost to them and this is where a craft cannabis business industry of the average home grower could pick up the slack, make a living and in the end everyone would be happy and we would have a more stable cannabis industry in Canada that everyone that grows can be a part of instead of just big corporate.... I do hope the Cannabis Industry if it does go craft based that it doesn't end up like the beer industry where only 6 monopolized breweries brew beer for all the name brand beers and distributing them all around the world. Where as the craft beer industry is stuck to just selling and advertising locally cause they can't afford the big distribution chains and advertising to get their product out ,do to unfair corporate laws. Heck we are already seeing it start up in the cannabis industry when they passed legislation stating you needed a fully built out facility before they would even consider you for a legal grow license, But a brewery can be up and running in a persons basement under the title craft brewing? How about the law makers allow the start of craft cannabis growing? ;)

i besmirch those bastard corpate fat cats :meatballs:and their monoplizing ways.

question Herb; what kind of bear is the best?

I like to support local as much as I can. I live in a spot with mom and pop shops dominating our shopping choices, and will shop there as much as I can to support them and their families who are just trying to put their kids through community sports before I’ll give some corporate schmuck who needs sales to continue funding his corporate jet and country club membership. End rant.

Canada and more countries have come this far in so many short years, I don’t think this is the end of what they’ll pass on the subject. I’m looking forward to where we’ll be in two, four years and beyond.

I do always wonder where the licensed producers get their starting materials from though....

They got there strains from the same places we get them.

So,I just want to toss a question out...has anybody found and LPs that sell auto seeds? My ACMPR should be in any day (covid delays) and I'm also kinda put off on seed selection from what I've seen...

Wrong, a bare naked lady is the best. ;)

How are my Canadian friends doing this evening? Hope you all are staying warm!
lol...Stayin high and dry tonight and playing with my seeds again!... Glad to see you finally drop by for a visit my friend been too long!... Hows the seed addiction, I mean collection going these days? haha ;)

I've been good, I'm getting close to a relapse with Black Friday just around the corner.
Oh good I'm not the only one! lol ... Black friday and my birthday coming up so I will be in seed stashers anonymous group for a meeting soon. Think I'm going to try my hand at growing maui wowi this spring.

i like to bake with canabutter and get baked lol

Hi welcome to the group deltadubie! So you have enough cookies to share with the rest of us? lol ;)

Yeah those cookies look damn good!

Maui Wowi sounds like a treat! I've had my eyes on Hawaiian Snow from Greenhouse Seeds and Fruity Juice from Sensi. I smoked Fruity Juice once, over a decade ago at a 311 concert, and I haven't been able to get bud of it or get over the quality of smoke since.

I did buy a nice pile of regular beans a month or 2 back (mostly Tom Hill genetics) that I will be doing open pollination with and later pheno hunts on the side once the new year starts and I get some space opened up.
