That's bro-science that has been debunked for decades. If you want to stress a plant to help produce more resin there's nothing like a good drought. Let it dry right out until it's leaves have been drooping for 24 hours then water it. It's the latest technique and supposed to actually work. I do that by accident on a fairly regular basis. ;)

Should kill off a lot of root aphids or fungus gnat larvae at the same time.

Then there's always hanging the plant upside down so the THC runs down into the buds . . .

:peace:
Meh, bro-science potato. I have a spare and drove a screw through it. I'll observe and know, it's all good.
I saw Maritimers post and have it bookmarked. I am loosely drawing a parallel of the drying and leaf drop and angles to your allowing to dry comment. If I get my $hit together it might be on my list, too.

Question @bcarpenter24 ... how does that plant feel, she still supple or a bit dry?
Seriously, it looks similar in structure or development to a bagseed I have treated with anti aphid measures, then drove a screw into her stem.
First grow, wringing my hands and trying to see when people do harvest. I know, tricomes but I want to know how it feels, you know? Thanks!

Its pretty supple, theres a few leafs that are dry and have bent/cracked though but for the most part pretty supple.
Still noticing new growth within the buds aswell as the days go on.

The big push for higher THC levels has been what's driven selective breeding in cannabis for the last few decades. What we have now is pot devoid of character except for a few notable strains. I prefer older strains that may not have huge THC levels but they are each easy to tell apart on the first hit just but the way it hits.

Everything's going to be plastic by and by.

:peace:
Speaking of older strains I would love to get my hands on the Mexician Oaxacan sativa landrace strain and breed it with my UBC chemo plant. Both some nice old school genetics.

I put your pic next to a bud from my plant #5, and a salvaged piece #5.6 it was spared most of the aphid treatments and is still "pure", but is from the same plant.

Trying something different today. Gonna try doing burnt ends with the rest of ham. Cut it all up into cubes, put into a pan. Little bit of water, tons of honey and maple syrup, brown sugar. BBQ is preheating now.. will see how it goes... wont be as good as brisket thats forsure lol

It has been 35F here in northern Alberta since 3am and still there at 8pm and if it doesn't go any lower I'll just leave my girl open tonight. Doesn't seem to bother her and she got a few hours of good sunlight today tho the temp in her middle didn't go up at all. Time to start the choppin' but not feeling up to it tonight.

:peace:

Edit: Sensor was on the fritz and she damn near froze so I got her under the sheet and plugged the heater in. Whew!
