Canadian Growers Group & Friends

im all ready to go here to take down my Chocolata and Granddaddy purp.
However, the chocolata needs a bud wash, with H202 for PM.
I went to 4 different stores today, all sold out, and ran out of time to shop (wife had to go into work).
So now I have an issue.. what would be worse?
Leaving the plant outside in another night of rain, or do I chop it down, hang it, and wash it tomorrow. I have no idea.

What dehumidifier are fellow Canadians using for their grow tents? Just tried one of this $67 ones from Amazon - getting returned as it is useless.

Tent is only 3x4 so don’t need anything large but it has to at least work. lol.

Not sure if you have the room or ability to do so, but I have a dedicated grow room with a 4x8 tent for flowering. I will now use the room as a ”lung” keeping the humidity in the 60% rh range and a RainBird humidity control to operate my tent fan to adjust the temp/humidity in there. The dehumidifier is in the main room, not the tent.

Ah. That is an interesting idea. My grow tent is in a separate room. Hmmmm.

Did you let it ride or did you chop her?

I second the idea of having the dehumidifier in the main room outside the tent. I have run this way with a cabinet for years and last couple grows with a tent and have been able to have no humidity issues so for. I also run a 6inch exhaust fan with carbon filter to outside the home keeping the grow environment with fresh air all the time . ;)

Hey folks hope your all enjoying the warmer weather our plants sure are. lol... Today I did a lil monster cropping and took four chemo strain clones two from each chemo sister plants, Now going to let them rest and decided in next few days which one will be seeded and which will be for smoking bud. :) Here is a peek at the progress of the chemo sisters and my DIY DWC cloner/seed starter. :)

Just another update on the chemo sisters monster crop clones that I took just shortly after flipping lights to 12/12 cycle, They are now finally showing roots out of the rapid rooter plugs, So gonna be transplanting to soil when roots grow to more then an inch... :)

My gf showed up from work at 11pm with the hydrogen peroxide, she found it at a little hole in the wall convenience store on her lunch - chopped her down, well 2/3rds of her. Was up until 4am trimming and budwashing.
Still have this to go on her:

Ya I wasn't sure the clones were going to root with the temps starting to get cooler around here, fortunately they are managing to root now...So hope to take 2 clones inside for the winter, give the rest away before the freezing temps hit.

1 week of straight rain every day, two frosts, and two hail storms later I've started some bud busting.

Nice haul, Mustang! Some good sized buds from what I can see.
2 king tut plants, the bud went to my drying nets and my shake went to 2 shoe boxes. the shake will be good for a few weeks then when i have time butter and hash. The local welding supply shop sells dry ice cheap i found out so hash time.

**** almost all welding supply shops sell dry ice

Well, I owe ya. I had a portable AC unit I don’t use any more and was going to Craigslist to get rid of it.

Instead I brought it into the room, vented it and got the humidity down to 55% from 65%. Way less worried about mold issue when drying.

Thank you?:Namaste:

How do you like the trimmer?? It looks to be worth the money if a person keeps getting big harvests!
the trimmer cuts your time in half, your still getting better job by hand. It cuts some to close and others not close enough. But by plant number 3 your happy you have it, it`s another tool in your toolbox to help out. You can get one on amazon for 230$ tax in at differnet times of year , so not stupid pricey and the shake is killer.

Bowl of top notch shake- I leave all my popcorn buds to last, then turn the trimmer until it`s all shake. In the old days i would add a few buds to my shake to make sure it is killer( i like 2 pounds of shake to 1 pound of butter) but now i just use the shake and add nothing and you ain`t leaving your chair after.
