You can't even return seed that is obviously of extremely low quality and not what was stated. If they sold flat beer they would be tared and feathered and run out on a rail. In the beginning we where to be offered a privatzed outlet but that was just lip service.
I think the whole seed thing in AB is so poor that I don't bother looking for local. If you ask a shop owner if they have seeds they inevitably say no and don't know where I can buy them. The most I have seen is 5 varieties offered from a local shop with not much info on the varieties. So I stick with ACE as they seem to know their stuff and have something for everyone. I have a suspicion the lack of availability of seeds is on purpose and a great opening for some entrepreneurs.

u can always get them mailed to you .. seed banks seeds have got to be the smallest ugliest things around too..
but they do sometimes grow..

i got a life time supplie of do si dos seeds that look really good and are big ..

do si dos rosin taste so yummy good im totally addicted.. very dangerous smoking rosin ..

highly addictive .. are any of you guys addicted to marijuana like me ?

I do have lots of seeds and could order tons, probably a moot point but none are approved by the taxman making them illegal. To many hits and misses with only 4 plants, I'm gearing back up for monocroping. ONE excetional plant and working it for weight and longevity makes more sense for me. I would rather do the Atlantic with a pool noodle than loose my plant count to trash ............ I mean worm food. Rain here and gardening overall is a good 2 weeks behind. DON'T TELL ME TO GET A MEDICAL! :)

This plant is from a well known seed company, it cast me $14.00 a seed tax in at the liquor store and was advertised as 17 to 25%. My quid would have been better spent buying a blister pack of petunias because astetic was all i got.

smoke is not potent? did you check tri chromes before harvest looking for cloudy and amber not clear?

if you want potent highly recommend Do si Dos elite.. growing my biggest indoor bush in a long time now..

Just a 3 dressed like a 9. For a licenced industry and legal i expected more. Clean clones with known parentage would suit me more but down here I'm not holding my breath. This is a backwoods plant that I have in reserve. Hard to grow, the leaves turn up with anything less that 70% humidity but well deserved of my plant count. I take just one dab and walk away.

under our current laws you can only purchase seed from a gov't approved vendor. of which there are near zero. anything else is as illegal as it used to be.

hydro shops selling seed would open themselves up to an expensive world of pain.

seeds purchased from online sellers are acquired through a loophole in the law dating back to pre-legal. those seeds are ok to purchase as a novelty item, but considered illegal once they are germinated.

the law is still on the books, but it is not being enforced. grow shops stay away, as they can still get in trouble, unless they got the seed or clones through a gov't approved supplier.

best get a stash of a few thousand seeds, of your favorites .. Do si dos eh!!!

Easier to stick your neck out but it's still on the chopping block.

that's exactly the lunacy the gov't is proposing

at some point they'll come to their senses and just legalize the current private market system. it would be stupid to destroy a functioning well established private business market.

the issue revolves around potency, the gov't still wants it regulated down to 12 - 15%. the problem is the legal dispensary market has already blown way past that in what they offer. customers aren't going back now that it's out of the bottle.

so like a lot of laws, the gov't has left it on the books but doesn't enforce it unless it wants to make an individual example of someone.

better get thousands of 30% thc seeds now then eh..

impossible to band potency at home i think.. i hope they do it ... the black market would boom ...

in the 25-30 percent market ..

my life time supply right here

The same plant at 64% humidity. Interesting how 45% and lower slams the leaves shut like a venus fly trap. Original stock was a fem and only shows very few male flower really early only. Rosin leaves only minimal gunk. Heads above what I'm use to! Have a great Canada Day!

Like molasses downhill in February. Put an auto 2nd week in May, thay don't do well in mildly chilly soil also. Stupid cool here so far. Thankfully I don't have great expectations about outdoor weed.

Really been a washout on the east coast, nothing but rain for the last 3 weeks and lots of replanting going on. My auto is rebounding from a cold start as much as it can. Really disgusting 4 plants, leaves no room for fun at all.

Decanting chlorine? Not surprising that buckets are highly prized at my place and in the 3rd world, a million and one uses. I have a shallow well and cut that with rain water and always watch for pithium. Drying back hard even with coco keeps that away, a low ec to begin with keeps everything happy.

not sure i would use the word decanting .. evaporation is the process.. i let it sit 4 days .. before using ..

mix those fert up right and water feed asap.. clean buckets refill ready to go .. no stains on buckets..
