Canadian Growers Group & Friends

Open and finished in August would be a magic bullet for me. My curse is 90 + humidity on a way to regular basis. Indoors is more my go to. I'm high and wonder if buds further from the ground would be less prone to mold like jungle plant? Cultured strawberry doesn't stand a chance where I grow outside.

try some of the fast autos.. neighbor bought some from quebec seed co havested late aug... but his was full
of pm.. he didnt treat.. was for outdoor...

DD i have more seed than i know what to do with. Mostly hybrids that go tits up outdoors. I get ocean fog, the kind that hangs in the air all day, even when it's sunny and even worse when the air cools. Like smoke. Rain is a joke, it dries up. I don't shake off rain for fear it will only put moisture deeper into the buds. You better have good electronics on your ship because you can't see dick somedays.

living on Lake Ontario 4 houses up the st from it.. i saw some fog roll in on those warmer winter days..

once it was so thick i could not see the red light across intersection could not find my house for awhile was also
brand new then to the area.. never saw like that again .. around 10 am.. nothing like u could get ..

Radar is a war world II invention.. most ships are all analog back then .. Navigation !

I'm trying to sign up ........ can't make out the robot #, shouldn't take me long to get deep sixed. I bet I could
slip by your radar with a wooden boat. I think we're in a self induced fog. :roorrip:You making any rosin?

Never knew about the WW2 game . Stinkybilgewater1 user guide says I'll pick it up in minutes.............. where's the lifeboat.

Guess I'll stick to farming, plain to see i got no future in the navy.:) You guys in Upper Canada have the most wonderful dirt! Most here is heavy clay with rock and gravel. My plants are getting away on me, alot slower going to flower than with leds. Front right is gifted to replace the herm I had. It was going to be way to big so I fixed it with high stress training. More like messed it up but time will tell.

i think you mean lower Canada has the dirt.. upper Canada is the shield.. 3 billion yr old granite..

hey .. i started my seed end of june outside 1st week of july..

no rush to start outside.. in canada .. its cold.. just stunts there growth.. takes time to recover.

the later you start the smaller the plants,, i find the bigger plants can get beat up really bad in a bad fall storm..

I agree with DD. I put mine outside too early and they grew to be monsters. I didn't need all that extra grow. Would probably have had close to the same yield but a higher density of buds. I'll have my clones clipped mid-may an potted 10-14 days later. . My mid-June or even summer sulstice, they will be planted outside. That still gives them a good 8 weeks to veg.

How many plants you have going on in there?

Don't be trying to pull the wool over my eyes, you know Southern Ontario is considered Upper Canada. The shield starts way up there! Plus my wife is an Ontario girl. :) :passitleft:

ok how about southern ontario got some great farm land but we built houses all over it .. and now we grow in pots..

See, the roots grew right into all the good dirt:yummy:

Well... I need some advice, my friends. I have 2-4 more weeks of flower and the PM is getting away from me and getting to the buds. From what I saw of others, I should just chop them off?

Disheartening indeed. I will probably have the same problem with my 2 vegs. Live and learn.

Do you think I will be able to save a little if I chop the moldies?

Sincerely,
:(

you could try to cut off those leaves but probably stunt the plant & spread more spores or try neem oil spray or hydrogen peroxide spray cider vinegar spray just dont spray with the lights on, good luck

if its in buds there's more than you think and up to you if you want to smoke. it can't kill you unless you allergic to mold (** it can't kill you but it is mold and can fuck with immune system) . cut your losses and harvest early and wash buds you trust , lots of people and lots info on washing buds.
  • Milk – Mix 1 part milk to 3 parts water and spray liberally while your grow lights are on. The type of milk (skim, 2%, whole, etc.) doesn’t matter. Wet both sides of leaves if possible.
  • Potassium bicarbonate – Dissolve 1 tbsp of potassium bicarbonate in 1 gallon of water. Optional: Add 1 tbsp vegetable oil and 3 drops of liquid dish soap. Spray plants lightly but evenly
  • Baking soda (not as effective as the other 2)- Mix 1 tbsp baking soda, 1 tsp liquid dish soap, and 1 gallon of water. Spray all the leaves top and bottom

10g food grade citric acid to 1 litre distilled water and a little soap (potassium salts of fatty acids if possible, ie Safer's insecticidal soap).
That will kill it, but you'd probably want to wash it off too.
There's a thread on bud washing on here, somewhere.
