Canadian Growers Group & Friends

Unless you get bombarded by your own team-mate while battling alone against 3 other war-ships. Got slaughtered and had to wait over 10 minutes for the game to finish. :rip:
you need to practice Scotty..

one day is no big deal they'll be fine,
the dark triggers flowering i think:lot-o-toke:pretty sure, so at least 12hr dark is required to flower.

Shade is not night and a bright moon isn't day light.

plant all the photo plants you want mate they will time out perfect, just don't plant any sativa heavey plants and your golden. Growing plants next to tree's will help deal with frost better and give weed somebody to.

My Hemp story:
My buddy grows weed in wasaga beach every year. one year somebody applied for hemp grow. That year everyone of his plants grew balls and he was miles away from hemp farm. Hemp can be male or female doesn't matter, if you talking CBD plants that is different and should be female or your wasting time.
the CBG seeds i picked up are feminized so shouldn't be a problem

Hello fellow canukers sorry to jump in new to this thread & relatively new to 420 and growing just finishing up my 2nd indoor grow with auto's and will be going out to my campsite soon for the summer and want to do a outdoor/ no green house just open air, i know a auto probably would be ok but what about a photo period? want to try a hemp plant/cbg which is a photo period with a couple auto's location would be approx central east MB, usually shut camp down Thanksgiving mid Oct and night temps usually fairly chilly 3-8c is a photo period doable or 50/50 or a waste of time ? Thanks
Days are long on the shield but fall of so fast into the fall. Autos might be best. Lots of good ones. Plant count keeps me from trying many.

hey .. i started my seed end of june outside 1st week of july..

no rush to start outside.. in canada .. its cold.. just stunts there growth.. takes time to recover.

the later you start the smaller the plants,, i find the bigger plants can get beat up really bad in a bad fall storm..

Nice plant's, not sure when i'll be dropping seeds probably may long
or shortly after

@con you topping your auto's ? i recommend you top auto flowers , you get more weed to smoke.
put the photo plants in ground and if you worried about watering get one of deltadubie adult diapers (new, not used):ganjamon: and bury that under root ball. diapers good at holding water as well as pee & poopie.
LOL! not much soil or deep ground where i'll be at, deepest ground was about 6'' deep then rock/canadian shield, i'm just going to LST my first & second indoor grows turned out decent that way

planning on 2 auto's Godzilla Cookies & Fat Bastard auto & the 1 CBG photo

My old man took us north of Clearwater Lake. The trout fishing was unreal! That was mid 60's. Fort Osborne Barracks military bratt.
grew up in north MB my dad was a hunting fishing freak so camped & fished most waters in MB still one of my favorite things to do

Hey MH thanks for the reply i don't think in the ground would be possible canadian shield area the deepest ground is about 6'' i do have some big pots out there about 20 gal, not a early or fast they don't say just a photo period they say 10-12 weeks flowering time, i am able to start in my trailer under some led flouresent style lights till the weather gets warmer may long or end of may, planning on growing the one CBG & 2 autos
12 weeks, that might be a problem. I can't finish 12 week strains here in Southern Ontario unless they're really quick to flower. I always have a plant or two start earlier than the rest, but it's hard to predict.
You may want to save that one for an indoor grow.

yeah its got me thinking i might have to convert my storage shed dark room starting late Augest & put it out during the day 5 gal fabric or 5 gal pail, might work plus give me something to do besides fishing shooting guns & 4x4ing Lol!

I've done the light dep thing. Brining a plant indoors to a dark room. Timing can be tricky.
Have you found a journal with the strain, or someone else who has grown it? Might give you a better idea how accurate the breeder estimate isn't.

Never tried bags, my well water sucks and always worried about build up. I cut it with rain water. Without an irrigation syetem I'd wilt them sure as hell. Some locals have a line off photos that do well, right now they are testing to see how well they self. If all goes well they will be marketed as Frostmaster, fingers crossed. Little dog has to go for dental work, so there goes my summer plans, up in smoke .........yay, I got gifted some landrace seed,my goal is to see how tall I can get them. :)

I don't see how those will be a problem, autos just go fast. Another thing to consider Con is early flowering strains, or heavy indica based strains. The early flowers usually rippen up. One of my favourites is a landrace strain called Sinai. Sinai grows quite quickly and flowers earlier than others, so I try to breed it into my more long flowering sativas. It also has really good medical uses, very blissfull. I got seeds for it from The Real Seed Company (they are all about landrace strains from all over Asia, the Middle East and Africa. I can't recommend them enough and they always give you lots of free seeds with every order) . Some pure Afghani indicas will tolerate low temperatures and even snow and still survive. Lots available from the same place, defintely worth taking a look at if you're into landrace strains of pure indicas and sativas. Oh BTW I grew Auto Zamaldelica from ACE seeds last summer and it was ready in August and was quite potent.

Open and finished in August would be a magic bullet for me. My curse is 90 + humidity on a way to regular basis. Indoors is more my go to. I'm high and wonder if buds further from the ground would be less prone to mold like jungle plant? Cultured strawberry doesn't stand a chance where I grow outside.
