Canadian Growers Group & Friends

I can only guess at the weight. Once it's dry I'm making hash. Next summer a few are going in the ground, never tried any indoors. The real test hasn't happened yet.:blunt:
I make bubble hash with some of mine. Do you make yours old-school with the screening and dry ice?

One of my plants is fine, but I'm bummed about this one. It's just not cut out for N. Atlantic marine fog ..... not much is! I'm going to try the same seed later this winter along with photos and see how that goes.

As of 8:00 am its 65f and 94% humidity. You can almost watch the rot grow in real time. Really cool how wild raspberries are doing just fine and the cultued ones are toast................. unless they get traeted ......... I'm all for controlled enviroment!

This is that scraggly little plant ( from a seed from a Gelato I grew) I planted it out in the garden with little hope of her doing anything. She is a 6 ft bush (roped her once when she was in my grow room) now with very Sativa looking leaves(only 3 leaves to a fan) and very different structure to the stems. I am not sure but I think this is flower showing and it is all up and down all the stems? Shity camera pic. I bought a cheat plastic greenhouse to house her for the end of the month and try and save her from frost....

It would be a neat observation to be sure. I could round up a bunch of stoners but not to sure about how a definative methadology would get along.
Well, this seems to be the start of that season. Maybe I'll start a new thread dedicated to that and see if I can expand the audience. I'll post a link here for any that are interested in joining up or merely following along.

This may be off topic but I thought that I would share this link, being Canadian and all.
Not sure if the video will play but I thought that I would share my last cliff jump before I got too old to do it. I was here back in "84. It was nothing at the time.
now and not the same muscle tone, berely made it. As someone named Bob once said "the times, they are a changing!"
It not only felt like I got kicked in the nuts, it was also an ennema done in 1 second flat!o_O

I did manage to collect more sea-weed. Was a nice finish to my vacations.
Cheers, eh!
Nice, I would have died climbing that cliff.
We used to go to Alora Quarry cliff diving when young.
Ever seen it, fantastic for cliff diving.
Take care. :ciao:

Stay safe

It's a sad day when a fella forgets how to throw caution to the wind. I think I blew out my last hernia repair just watching! Ageing really isn't for the faint hearted either. Looks like fault lines in the Laurentains. Good one!

Holy Crap Scott, you didn't clear that rock by much! I once rode on top of a frieght train when I was 20, The crazy shit we did back then.

Nice dive!!! I wouldn't do it !!! :nervous-guy:
Thank you, I almost didn't but climbing down would have been just as difficult. Took the shorter route.

Never tried a quarry but at least the walls are pretty vertical. In '85, I did a 90 footer, twice. Scared the crap out of me both times but it was so str8 down, you could see yourself in the hard mineral water of the Rockies. Yet my reflection was doubled in height and saw myself at 180 feet. Those days are done, indeed.

Yes Z! I lost more muscle tone in my skinny legs than expected. Last time I cleared it by twice that much. I think that I may have crapped my swim suit coming down but the rush of water up my anus just shoved it back in!
Never did the freight train. We lived a few miles from the tracks. My Mom told me enough stories that I never tried. May have been stupid, Z. Though I am sure that it built character to get you through the tough shit as an adult.

Not sad, OJ. Just one last desperate attempt to hold on to my dwindled youth before my heart gets too "faint", so to speak. Nice try on the geography but it was the Eastern Townships, close to Vermont border.

Getting older, weaker and reminiscent of the younger days. I really needed that one last challenge before I prepare myself for the golden years. At 56, I feel young but the aches and pains of years of honest work has taken its tole.

Thank you all for sharing this last moment of stupidity with me.

Cheers! :yahoo:

Never used dry ice, just a screen and rolled with a warm bottle.
What grain of screen did you use or did you use more than 1. I must have had too much crap when I tried it. Bottle was plenty hot enough but couldn't get it to stick or brown.

Big country up that way! We where planning a road trip around Gaspe Bay before covid and need to get that done! I have a 200, 150, 90 and a 60. The 90 makes nice sticky hash with most plants. Got my winter grow underway, no quadline but I'm going to train them a bit. I guess I'm not loyal to the soil ,........... I still have a warm spot for the bottle.
