Canadian Growers Group & Friends

I’m with these guys. A quality press is very important to me. I can normally press enough for 4-5 days in about 30 minutes or less. Pressing rosin is addictive though…Enjoy!

Whaaaaaaat????? I built this whole thing out of stuff in my shop, my pile of "good stuff" and just odds and ends I had squirrelled away!!!! Not one trip to town!!! I was soooo proud!!!

Even the back drop was the bed from a tent trailer I rescued from the side of the road!!!

Just wondering what it is .. ? is it a trimmer? or you knocking off trichromes?

Check out the jacked up prices for shitty castings ......... it's a money making machine! Good to know you got home safe and sound Zam. Rosin really changed the game for me and what I regard as a good plant. My press is a little 4 ton and a freebie from someone's upgrade. The price kind of boils down to how much you want to press at once. I've been busy eating crow about autoflowers and looking forward to harvesting!

Thanks Oddy, the trip home had no cancellations, unlike the trip out. My autoflowers did not survive except for one Auto Zamadelica that smells incredible, very lemony and slightly hashy, but not large. My problem is watering while away this year. We left one garden to go fallow and I was hand watering the plants thinking if they developed a good root system they could handle it. Now I believe the ten foot plants from last year got big because they had lots of water everyday. Thankfully I have lots of buds from last year that are still resonably potent. Also a shoutout to those who answered my question about a rosin press. I may do that in the future as well, I'm very impressed by the quality, and the fact my Volcano has a dab feature. Thanks everyone.

I agree. I gave a few clones away a few weeks ago and except for one that got pest-buggered the other 2 are doing great.
I started 3 clones to replace the ones I just put to flower downstairs. Just have room for two so I will take the strongest and put it outside when I up-pot the other 2 in their final pots. It still has potential for 10 - 14 grams

The one in the middle was started 2-3 weeks after the other two but with @DYNOMYCO instead of Myko brand. They seem to be catching up nicely. The little one below it is my first attempt at a Bonzai Momma.
I started using worm castings, root innoculents, bocashi and frass with these 3. I just love the way they are progressing! :slide:

Cheers!
PS. Thanks @Bill284 (method)

did you mean 10 - 14 oz? :)

Picked up a shit-load of sea-weed
Made me laugh - that's what I was doing today!!! Hauling it out of my pond with a grappling hook on a long rope, made just for that purpose. That crap gets heavy - wore my silly self out!!! I save it to use in my vermi composting bins - they love it.

Ahhh the Canadian life. Gotta love it!

Went kayaking with the missus. Picked up a shit-load of sea-weed and put them in my bubble bags to drain. Will dry them, then blend them and add it to the outdoor soil for next year.
Gotta love nature!:peacetwo:

Or.....you could put some in a container (small Mason jar or a 55g barrel) cover with water, add a bit of worm castings and make yourself some Seaweed JLF, some liquid goodness you can add to your water for your plants.

Hey Azi - any more info on this?? Concentrations, etc. I have made some Dandelion Elixer. Would this be similar??
Asking for a friend!!! :ciao:

Hey GJ, as a matter of fact I do!

Here's a post I made about lessons learned last season with my JLF's. You'd have to describe how you made your dandelion elixir to tell if it is similar. Does it smell like something died? If so, you're on the right track. :laughtwo:

And, have your friend ask his own damn questions.

Hey Azi - The Dandelion Elixer is Emilyas recipe that I sort of simplified. Pick a bunch of dandelions, chop 'em up a bit, put in equal weight in brown sugar, I added a bit of water and a smidge of yeast. I stirred and crunched it a few times a day for awhile and let it sit for about three months. It bubbled away for awhile and smelled like silage. Not a bad smell. I probably made dirty dandelion wine!!! I strained out the dandelions a couple of weeks ago and I noticed that the liquid is still bubbling just a little - it has a definite fizz to it. I add one teaspoon to a gallon of water - I haven't noticed any growth spurts or anything but I also haven't killed anything. :ciao::nervous-guy::thedoubletake:

The more I read about this and I was sitting in my garden, vapin' a bit to kill the pain I was thinking I could try my white clover and grass clippings - lazy way - might not be as strong but easy as hell !!!! :yahoo: Just use more!!!
