[The Celt]

First year I grew, I washed as well with 4 buckets:

1st - water with baking soda
2nd- hot tap water with lemon juice
3rd - cold water with h202
4th - clear ice water

Made the leaves stand straight out and stiff, made for easy trimming after they drained.

None really, only issue I had, was trying to dry them hanging in the shed, humidity was high that year and some moulded on me.

I no longer dry out there, I dry on racks in the basement where I can control the humidity.

I'm like you i dry in my house now too, I'm going to us my bud trimmer on them after washing(trim wet, i like better than trimming dry) and go to hanging drying nets. The only thing i hate is the flat spot in your bud if you forget to move them. sometime if i'm in hurry i use gaint paper bags one over the other(2 bags, weed in one and other covering like a lid) with weed inside and just flip bags over every day to dry more evenly.

How is that for drying, I would like to try that this year, if all the plants produce well I would like to try a couple methods.

I am curious as to other methods that folks have tried? Last year I had to burp 36 1l mason jars everyday, and I have just double up with 36 new ones. That would take an hour to burp....
I was also thinking of trying some in the fridge Low and slow, thank you to SweetSue for sharing.
Anybody every try fridge way? How do did you like the results?

I don’t burp my bottles, when I feel the bud is dry enough, I put it in 1gal jars with a humidity meter and a 62 Boveda pac. If after 24hrs, the rh is 65 or lower, I leave them cure.

that would be pricey? Not sure never bought any, but I get them with medical cannabis orders, so I know they are good.

Also, I forgot to mention, they last forever unless the bag breaks. I’ve got ones I am still using from 5 years ago

paper will suck the water out and cuts time. i like mason jar method because i believe the weed gets stronger in the cure process. the jar method slows you down enough to get the extra strength in the waiting process. i buy online weed sometimes if i'm thinking of trying a new seed strain, buy the online weed to see if it's worht it. I have enough of my own weed around and it's usuaaly way better than online stuff so sometimes it takes me months to smoke online weed. i think the online stuff gets stronger (because they don't take the time to cure$$$$$) as it sits in your bag waiting to be smoked, try it i swear the weed gets better.
I'm very very anal about curing weed because i hate hay smell and believe smell and look play apart in your head making weed even better when you smoke, plus bag appeal make more dollars and cents.

I know alot of people are trying the herb dryers or weed dryers and swear you can't tell difference. i have never used so can't speak about it.

PEI here... Cool thread thought I'd follow along. This is my White Widow, grown from a leftover seed from a few years ago..she is just starting to flower the last few days. 15 gallon fabric pot of coco topped with straw mulch. Getting fed 4 gallons of megacrop @5g/gallon daily. Hoping the weather cooperates shes later flowering than I was expecting!

Should be good, fall weather permitting @PE636 , my Blue Dream and Cluster Bomb are just in the early stage of flowering as well I am expecting around mid October for my girls to finish, a couple may even go into late October

That's what I meant. I was going to try it this crop but not a huge harvest so I will do it my usual way. I have switched to Turkey bags with boveda 62% inside them keep it in a 5gallon pail with gamma lid. I hate burping jars. I might feel different if they sold 5gallon jars.
