Canada Guy's Medical Fusion Grow

From my experience they are moderate feeders, but will take heavy feedings too. They like to be tied down, mainline, scrog, whatever you throw at them. Some say their diesels stretch a bunch, mine don't. Obviously I have a hybrid cross so it's different. Outside my Diesel stretches her legs in veg and flowers like a champ. Don't defoliate too much too early in flower with this one, she will be sad and make tiny buds.

I was actually considering just naming my own strain as its not fair to call it a Diesel when it's genes are most likely so mixed by now. I'm thinking of naming my strain of marijuana Alberta Gold, what do you guys think?

Sounds intense

Day 93

Day 34 of flower. Yesterday LSD 1 and 2 got 4 liters of nutrified water. Today LSD 3 got the same. Diesel #2 has some strange growth and I will continue to monitor her. The LSD girls are stacking up pretty nicely. Maybe not a donkey dick, but surely at least a monkey dick. Lol!

When cured she has a disgustingly delicious oily greasy taste, super smooth, tight hard buds. And with an aroma that will have you remembering the good old days working in the oil patch, driving trucks, swinging hammers, and working hard to make an honest living. This is the Alberta way, and this strain truly is a perfect fit for anyone wanting a taste of Alberta. No coveralls, boots, or H2S certificate required.

Day 94

Day 35 of flower. Today both Diesel girls got 4 liters of nutrified water. I haven't been watering them to the point of runoff for quite some time, so I might give them a good flush next watering. Everyone is still very happy. I managed to take a couple pics with the lights off too. When I was in the tent defoliating I found a flower with orange curled hairs... wtf... also after picking off a few leaves my hands were so sticky it was like they were covered in very sticky tacky glue. I can't wait for harvest.. my poor scissors lol. We should only have another 30-60 days to go.

Thanks for following along.

All those photos are great. I like the group shot. All those tops look gorgeous.
Thank you. I will be doing more defol soon to get light penetrating a bit better. Not too much though, I aim to just take enough to give all the upper buds light. I don't want to see the dirt from straight above. Let's hope they all fatten up to at least soda can size.

Looking Good CG...That tree took a licking and keeps on ticking...nope wrong commercial!:laughtwo:

I am seeing some of the same stretch problems, lots of spacing on some of mine and hoping they fill in.

Alberta Determination sounds like good name for your strain!!!:thumb:

Some strains won't fill in.. you just get chunks of bud, you can get them to baseball size if grown right. Often I find the girls that don't fill in concentrate all the energy to those chunks of bud and the potency and quality go way up.

The tree is soon to be 6 feet tall.

How about just calling her Determinator? Or I guess that is getting farther away from the main feature which is that it grows amazingly well outdoors in our crappy climate. And when smoked she reminds me of black gold, or petroleum based products.

Are you back building them?

They say at its half way point to snip a top small piece of the buds off at tops it encourages width growth. You hear about that?

I like Alberta Gold or something like that better. You captured the essence of what it is pretty perfectly in your original description. The name needs to reference blue collar Alberta pride, and referring to the diesel of the strain and the Alberta oil brings it together really nicely. Only other suggestion would be to work in some other oilfield jargon - I don't know the first thing about the oil and gas industry, but when I think of the people I know who do, I think of words like roughneck, engineer and driller. Roughneck would imply her toughness in the climate too. Roughneck's Gold?

Well I like the roughneck reference, but that is just a small part of the oil industry.. and an engineer is hardly blue collar.. maybe a train engineer lol. I might just stick with my original plan of Alberta Gold. A quick Google search shows that name is still available, so I'm going to snatch it up. When legalization comes, there will be a mad rush for everyone to name their own strain. I hope one day I could become a legal distributor of my own craft bud. Homegrown in small batches, certified organic, and guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Well.. another day, another hail storm... Here's the before picture... stay tuned for the after picture...

Hey maybe you can build something with some 2x4s and some kind of metal screening liek what we would use for our window or something staple it all around except from
Use as a door to enter ? So it protects it from the hail? Is it cause damage I hate to see such a beautiful trying get destroyed ..
