Canada Guy's Medical Fusion Grow

A lot is genetics! It's not your fault at all! Your doing a hell of a job growing, I bet quality will be through the roof on your grow.

Well there starting to shine up and the smell is crazy around here. I don't scrub my ventilation anymore, fuck it. I don't have any neighbours to complain about it anyway lol. Just a wife that complains a bit .
So I hope your right! It's been a tough go this round.

Things are looking great CG! Looks like you will have enough room unless those buds keep stacking up!

Loving that outdoor tree! takes all that abuse and still standing!

Don't worry, it will lose some leaves but there is a lot of time to go yet and they seem to kick it in gear when mother nature sets them back...its got my vote to bounce back better and stronger than ever!

Day 91

I'm way south in the Kootenay, so we have been fortunate so far. Damn dry out there though and we still have to get through august.

I may, or may not lol, work in "the biz" and I can tell you this is some of the worst I have seen it in my entire career. Hope the rain tonight and tomorrow help. All this activity is making it hard to get my stuff together, so its looking like a fall start to my grow...which I kind of predicted/expected.

A few fires are popping up north of Creston and east of Cranbrook but they are small and not aggressive yet. More dry weather this summer and that may change.

But back to your grow...looking fantastic. That outdoor beauty shook off that hail damage like a boss.

So do you expect the outdoor diesel to go into flower when the daylength drops to less than 12 hours at the end of September?
Yup she is a photoperiod. I expect her to be around 8-10'. Main cola should be about the size of a 2 year old... she finishes fast just getting there is the challenge, mother nature likes to throw a curve ball. To be clear she is not my main source of medicine, more just for fun and because I can grow it legally in my garden.

Ha! Ya mon. No trimming or training planned? Little tent pegs hammered down in the garden for LST?

Seems like if she really does just start flowering in late September up in Alberta that she will be racing to finish up before the first frost, no?

Of course! Gotta do it! I've gotta say, as much as I have been enjoying watching your tent queens, I'm really interested to see how Garden Girl does, so please keep updating on her.

No training. I'll take a cutting this weekend to put in the flower tent to sex her. Even if she is a he we will grow on. If she is a she, she will get her own journal. Every year it's a race to the finish...

Here's a little background, she is from about an 8 year old seed. I would say 2nd generation of my own cross, was still encapsulated in the calyx aka buds. Last fall I found this old nugget in my seed box so my friends and I sat around the fire, and shared a bowl, and a seed must have dropped because this spring she sprouted in the middle of the lawn!

Day 92

Day 33 of flower. The girls are still growing. I sure hope these flowers fatten up soon! I may need to move before harvest... so not sure what's going to happen. Would be quite the sight seeing 5 fully grown flowering plants in the back of my pickup rolling down the highway.

Getting frosty

This one looks a bit like a reveg attempt. Are your lights running a tad long? Or is it just this one with a single blade leaf coming out of a bud?
Nope, she is from seed. Very strange growth, late stretch by about 2 weeks.. the others were towering over her by the time she started. They all get the same amount of light. It's a single leaf from the bud.. but as you see the other leaves range between 3 and 5 fingers, the upper ones anyway, lower down she has normal leaves nice and green loving life kind of growth.

My LP was offering up some Lemon Sour Diesel and I decided to try it tonight. I found the lemon taste wasn't as pronounced as the diesel and skunk tastes. I love the taste of diesel and skunk though so that was no big deal. High was really on the heady sativa side but I felt a little bit of body effect. It was a little bit of a creeper too. Pretty classic tastes and effects, I think you're in for some great bud CG.

Yup got the bombers at the back . . Most of my Diesel seeds are literally twice the size the LSD ones.

is there a trick to growing diesel strains?

is there a trick to growing diesel strains?
From my experience they are moderate feeders, but will take heavy feedings too. They like to be tied down, mainline, scrog, whatever you throw at them. Some say their diesels stretch a bunch, mine don't. Obviously I have a hybrid cross so it's different. Outside my Diesel stretches her legs in veg and flowers like a champ. Don't defoliate too much too early in flower with this one, she will be sad and make tiny buds.

I was actually considering just naming my own strain as its not fair to call it a Diesel when it's genes are most likely so mixed by now. I'm thinking of naming my strain of marijuana Alberta Gold, what do you guys think?
