Canada Guy's Medical Fusion Grow

Lol nope, your plants are much taller than mine. I'm debating throwing the scrog net in there this weekend since I can't really access much anyway... was hoping to remove the boys first. Also being that they are so short, if I scrog them I will have an very difficult time with watering them.

I am using a net and find it works super to weave & open up areas to get light down to the lower bud sites, I have mine 11" above my coco pots/RDWC buckets and have enough room to water the coco gals with a 2 gal hand sprayer under the net.

Me too. I don't have a big enough book for a leaf like that. Do you have a journal on here?

No I did not do a journal on this first attempt, my RDWC is a DIY project and getting up to speed after a 35 year hiatus made me a bit unsure if I could still pull it off, especially since I only grew outdoors in soil.

Dobewan has been kind enough to allow me to post some photos on his journal to compare progress, set-ups and notes for this grow since we are only a couple days apart in germination & cycles.

I plan on starting one soon as I will be taking clones possibly this weekend to see if I can do a successful clone grow.:wood:

I am assuming you have trimmed off the lower growth? If I had a net I could not physically reach the middle plant to water her, unless I got a long skinny wand and trimmed a lot of growth.

Yes, I have started to lollipop the bottom of the non-essential growth, the 2 in the middle are the coco gals and I have them cleaned up so I have 6 inches to water. I use a 2 gal sprayer with a 16" wand like you would use to spray weeds (no pun intended)! I have to reach in and kind of move the lower growth out of the way so I can get in and give 'em a drink.:slide:

I have also started to slowly clean up the RDWC gals of their non-essential growth but not as extreme as the coco gals, my current problem since I did my "big" trimming before I put the net on is the under growth exploded, on one plant I counted 18 potential bud sites that are above or just under the scrog net, it has been a challenge to weave and adjust the stems to keep light penetrating the under growth just below the scrog...and I know there are many more sites under those that I have to try and get light to...a happy problem.:laughtwo:

I took some pictures today and will post them on Dobewan's journal to compare my progress.:passitleft:

Day 65

Day 6 of flower. The girls are doing well still. Whatever yellowing I had on LSD #1 & #3 has went away since I flipped. They were not happy while we were gone. LSD #3 has some nice pistils coming. Overall the picture looks almost the same as yesterday.

Dang, that is a small hand......lol! That is one great optical illusion CG. Wow, leaves on steroids. What are you feeding those plants? Do you live near Chernobyl? Wow, keep em growing.
Lol! Yes, I have midget hands. And a midget tomato cage too. . Outdoor is where I started growing many years ago. I feed her... get ready for this... pure... tap water. Lol! This was a sneak peek of the lady I will be featuring on my next journal.

It has always been told to me that the water in the great north is totally awesome. Our tap water here tastes and smells like the ocean. And that midget tomato cage, that's for cherry toms?....lol

Lol. Yeah, our water is pretty good, in the spring it gets yucky. Honestly it's the awesome dirt in the vegetable garden... it is so rich with nutrients, worms, ants, compost, etc it's like black gold!

My city tap water in Ottawa is beautiful. 70ppm and 6.0

Very nice water indeed. And the secret is really in the soil. Sounds like your garden soil rocks it. No wonder that leaf is so giant. The water out of the tap here is not really fit for human consumption. And the soil is so drought ridden that when water is added all one gets is a mud pie. The luxuries of living in the land of perpetual sun and heat. Your outdoor grow sounds very cool. Looking forward to reading your journal on that as well. Thanks CG for sharing.

I have a brother in law from Dallas TX that came up for a visit, he was shocked we drink water from the tap and he stared at the stars for hours. Then he got a taste of the double glass sliding doors when he opened one and ran into the other. That's one guy that needs to get out more lol.

I have yet to find any 11's in the tent, I looked. Does the number of fingers equal to the health of the plant? An old man once told me this.

My past experience in my soil grows ment that the plant was a alpha of the strain,,,could be a male or female, per my old study guides..High Times Mag circa late 70's.

I have had a number of these back then and most all turned out to be females with huge growth and nice big long buds with very dense close together sugar leaves so keep a eye out on that one...that was why I was so excited when I found one on my plants. If you look close at the new forming bud sites and undergrowth you should notice a lot of bunching or close growth formation.

I checked the the table book I pressed it in, it will be a great specimen for my planned MJ coffee table!
