Canada Guy's Medical Fusion Grow

Well still no power, seems like a tornado rolled through and 75% of the city has no power. I'm thinking I'll leave the power unplugged and the tent wide open for the night so the girls can breathe. Any ideas? At the 3rd day of flower I hope this doesn't muck up the grow!

Tornado's will raise hell with power lines, other than hooking up a generator you are left in the mercy of your power company. Leaving the tent open will help, after a thunderstorm your outside humidity is probably greater than the conditions in your house so keeping the windows shut should allow the air inside your house to pull some of that in your room out.

I have a generator for issues like these, its not only your plants, the food in your fridge and freezer are also at risk and if it was the dead of winter you would be chilling. Its good you have a smart phone...don't waste the battery!

Hoping for the best!:yikes:

Hey CG - Cool that you are getting awesome summer atmospherics. Not to worry too much about your plant babies I think. Now that you've rescued them from turning their tent into a sauna, they just have to ride it out for a little while. I bet they scarcely skip a beat. They may even be grateful from a little break from the sodium vapor photosynthetic flogging. Girls just chillin' in the shade for a little while. ;)

It is the long darkness that causes them to flower - since the outside in canada is at 16/8 (or something like that) you may not want to leave the tent open all night - especially if you have groundhogs or other flower munching creatures.

Hope you got everything straightened out CG. You guys get some crazy weather in the spring sometimes in Alberta. Like OTM said at least it's not February!

Everything is back to normal, I left the tent wide open in the closed garage all night until the power came back on. They got a whole 6 hours of light before the lights went off again for 12 hours.

Whew!!!!! Good to hear that all is ok. Now get along with growing that forest.

Good to hear CG, I watched the news and it looked ugly. I've lost power once for 4 days. I kept them alive but when power came back on they were pretty yellow and stretchy. Now I have a generator for back up.

Day 63

Everyone is growing well, I noticed about 2 inches of stretch so I quickly tied them all down again possibly for the last time this grow. Diesel #3 is no longer responding to LST at all! Her branches don't bend, her nodes are super tight, and pretty much she is going to stay the way she is from here on out.

Day 64

Day 5 of flower. Today I found the first pistil, yay! It is on LSD #1, who is feminized, but still.. yay! I also moved the ladies over a bit as they were getting quite crowded. The 7 plants are now taking up almost the whole 8x4 tent with a little room on either side to get in there and work. The girls are now too big for our weekly picture day, sorry guys. Diesel #1 has a weird leaf with an extra finger growing from the middle. It may seem like I went overboard with the plant to light ratio, but the 4 Diesels are regulars so I'm expecting to toss 2 of them.

Thanks for following along.

That's what struck me when I looked at the photo--you have a huge tent but still almost no room left! But yeah, if there are a couple of boys in there, that will open up a little space.

It's still all looking great! :)

Lol, I should have went for 2 600w lights, but it's ok. It will be interesting to see how the plants on the edges do. The 3 LSD girls take up almost 9 square feet each, and are currently about 10 inches tall. LSD #2 has the tallest cola in the group at 11 inches.

I have to, crawl on my elbow to get to the back of the room lol, I'm not sure you can though, she's a full house .
Lol nope, your plants are much taller than mine. I'm debating throwing the scrog net in there this weekend since I can't really access much anyway... was hoping to remove the boys first. Also being that they are so short, if I scrog them I will have an very difficult time with watering them.

...I have been working on them for a couple years and they taste amazing! Anyone have experience mating brother and sister seeds from the same mother over a couple generations? All I know is they are very predictable thus being very very easy for me to grow.
