Day 67

Day 8 of flower. Everyone is still growing good. The girls got watered today, they took about 24 liters. The tent has been rearranged again. Back to only using 4x4 of it... well maybe 4x5ish lol. Diesel #2 got too heavy handed of an LST treatment and her main cola broke and was hanging on literally by threads, she recovered, and is doing fantastic! The LSD girls are just massive. I was super gentle moving them around, and I snapped a couple pictures to show (off). .

Thank you. Your plants are plenty tall... I'm not sure what you mean? Mine are super short.

Yours are well trained CG, i like that but I'm use to growing more of a tree structure, they are still growing some but I'm just use to maybe 1 extra foot on some. I vision trees with colas the size of paper towel rolls lol. Why not set the bar high. Haha, like the hoffmans on gold rush, 5000 ounce goal, but end up with under 500 lol.

I do as well. Funny how sometimes unknowingly we do things the same. Top at the 4th node, make an even canopy, replicate a perfect tropical wonderland, etc. It's really cool how you can learn the basics here on 420 mag, and then make your grow your own.
 
Day 69

Day 10 of flower. The girls are still growing very well. The stretch is really on now, the canopy is around 15 inches. Pre flower I think I was at like 8 inches... The boys are now removed and are being forced back to veg mode before this weekends slaughter.

Well with my extensive personal experience with the almighty stretch, like once (lol), my plants went from 8 inches to about 22 before they slowed the stretch. Since hitting the 22 in mark, only about an extra 2 inches is all they have grown. My tallest one now stands at 24 inches. So my math says they can/will stretch 3x the original height. Now as we both know, different plants of the same strain and different strains all act different. So this would be just a rough guide.

Lol. Well I have another 24 inches available, the Diesels will max out at 18 inches... don't know about LSD....
 
I'm worried about stretch myself. Can't believe how my plants took off after a few days. I'm at 11F so hopefully they're slowing down.

That said I guess there are worse problems to have!

Will you be doing any further training from here on out CG? I was kinda hoping you'd flip before me so I could kinda just follow along with what you do. :winkyface:

I think I will now let them grow upward. I may defoliate again a little before the flowers really set. My last grow I did too much and my buds suffered, the time before I did too little and my buds suffered. By that I mean my yield, the buds were fantastic.

So when it comes to defol, we are looking for that Goldilocks zone, not too much, not too little. I think I got it.
