How long should I give e the northern lights seed to sprout into the seedling ? I planted on 12/25. It's been 2 days since placed in coco. I let sit in ph water for 24 to pop seeds then paper towel for 24 hour and then seed and long taproot into coco on Christmas night.

It can take up to a week for seedlings to emerge...

DO NOT disturb the soil! Be patient. It can take a while. You could damage the delicate seedling underneath. At this stage even a tiny nick to the outer layer could cause scar tissue to form and further could be deleterious to development, causing deformations in the trunk, abnormalities in water and nutrient flow in vegetative and flower stages later.

Yes exactly but i meant dont just toss out the seed if it doesnt pop as he said 3 days and im gonna start another seed

2nd that I give a seed 3 to 4 days if it's not out of the soil by then I'm starting another... Keeping the other and using something to move the soil a bit is also the same thing I do, being carful not to fiddle with the seed to much but now you got 2 so might as well be risky with one ya feel me. :blunt:
 
Jandre don't worry man I'm not touching anything with my hands, I know the oils in the skin can mess a little seedling up. I will give the northern lights 3-4 days to sprout. Just gave the girls their 3rd little 2 oz watering around the little sprouts to keep tap root shooting straight to the bottom !

Oh yeah bax I would take like a toothpick or I used tweezers to germinate I can use them to move some coco around and see what's going on under there in a day or 2 !

Brad, what's up man. She will get another 1-2 days and then she's getting dug up and I will replace and Northern lights with a jack herer ! Cause your right knock on some wood I at least have DD and WW up now ! They seem to be growing slow tho compared to other people seedlings. I have them 36in under 2 450w leds. May be too strong and need to put CFL in there and no cut 1 led off.
 
Today is day 2 and still no northern lights. Other girls dark devil and white widow have been above ground for an entire day now. The WW is looking a little bigger this morning and dark devil is trying to straighten out straight. I gave them 5.6 and 0.5EC/ 250ppm just around little sprouts. I hope northern lights comes up today or tomorrow. If not 2 days from now I will drop an jack herer bean in some water. That's pretty much it nothing exciting yet. No explosive growth or anything.
 
...I've only had one seed fail to sprout after tap into soil, and that may have been my fault...too much water...DOH!...this past season, had a couple that looked like that weren't going to come up, so I germed a couple more...lo and behold the suspect's raised their heads and left me with too much product for space...had to put out some girlz for adoption...so give them a day or two more(4 or 5)...and moist not wet...cheerz...h00k...
 
Hell yeah man that's what my wife keeps sayin. Your being to impatient just wait! So I guess I will wait. WW is looking a little taller today and dark devil is still trying to straighten out. No water today tomorrow tho, coco is still pretty moist around sprouts.

I HOPE ive watered good enough around sprouts and the auto taproot is shooting straight to the bottom of the pot. For best growth of an auto. Which will slow growth down of anything above coco. .........just waiting on NL to poke head up, other 2 I hope tap root is shooting down !
 
Wow, 23 pages in 13 days. Who needs War & Peace when you got a Camo thread. Took me a couple hours to catch up. Late to the party but here to watch. Best of luck on your grow!
