Cajuncelt's Spring 2015 Grow - Blue Dream - Bubba Kush - Critical Cure - Etc

Cajun, what do you mean...do tell us about the oil....

Way to leave us hanging Cajun boy...
:bravo::welldone::helpsmilie:
So what are we to supposed to pour on our little ladies for improved trich production? Panama Jack SPF40? 10W-40?
Spill the beans brutha.

High All.
Sorry for the suspense.
Went up to Denver for the Fest I mentioned and an having liver issues. Just got home from hospital.
I'll explain when I've more energy, but the oils are essential oils like Rosemary, etc.
These oils not only organically keep mites away, but they pack on the plant's oil production like crazy.
There are comparable products obviously, but the oils are organic & also keeps bugs away.

Cajun, baby, feel better soon. I'd hoped you were just working up a storm. Healing thoughts. :hugs: think of it as better than the emoticon can convey. Really.

Hope you feel better soon my brutha. May the force be with you! :Namaste:

Hey folks, in light of our Cajun buddy's current medical condition I'll highjack his thread here a bit and give a little insight into this essential oil thing as I've heard it told to me before.
**Note that I've never tried it, I've just been told about it. The exact details will hopefully be provided by CajunCelt once he's back in action. Then we'll get the real story from someone who has first hand experience.

As told to me - During the final weeks leading up to harvest foliar spray applications consisting of essential oils such as spearmint, peppermint, garlic, and similar types of organic oils are applied.
The oils trigger defense type hormones which in turn increase trichome production.

A similar effect happens when plants are grown near a roadway with heavy traffic and exhaust emission pollution. The pollution and heavy metal contaminants cause the plant to increase trichome production as a defensive response to the harsh environmental conditions.

Anyways, I know I'm not the only one wishing Cajun a speedy recovery and will be here sitting on the edge of my seat anxiously waiting for him to give us firsthand information on this.

Get well soon brutha!
:Namaste:

:thankyou:UncleCannabis

Thanx all for the well wishes. I'm finally vertical today.
Merci très bien to Unc for jumping in on the oils too. Great explanation.

Oh, here's the photos/autos. They'll be getting separated out this weekend.
So far, there's no noticeable differences in the 2 soilless mixes.

So how are the oils mixed and applied, meaning concentrated form, what ppm are we looking for or ml added...

Glad to hear that things are on the up for you mon neg.

You should take it easy for a while until your energy levels improve. I suggest that you don't you go wrestling any mountain lions or other wild mountain critters for at least another week or so. :)

When you're feeling up to it, please do fill us in on the details regarding the use of oils.
I keep looking at that can of 10W-40 over on the shelf but my gut feel tells me it doesn't belong in the garden. LOL!
