I set up the Kind lights at work today. Was having a blast until about 15% of all my seedlings were pulled about 45 mins ago. Trashing perfectly awesome plants is a necessary habit I'm having a problem with.

On the home front, the 1st auto babies are up. I have 18 autos going in 2 tents when it's time. 1/3 are above soil.
And..it's FRIEDay!!
 
Wow! They don't play around. Would it be possible to take home their trashed plants? Probably not so folks won't grow below standard plants on purpose.
 
Duck and fish does sound like a good combination. Maybe you and Grizzwald can come up with a Platypus Sauce Piquante Canna recipe to put in that cookbook of yours.

Well you know I'll be travelling through Memphis...I think it's illegal for travellers not to... Your gotta pay your respects to the king... And also see how royalty lived, lol... And now your telling me it also has Dennise and BBQ...:circle-of-love:

I was born and raised in Memphis... but no... I no longer live there.... Other than the BBQ I think it is the arm pit of America...:) It was a wonderful place to grow up but it has changed and it ain't for the better.... However, it does have the best BBQ in the world IMO.. try the ribs from the Rendezvous off Beale street or Colletta's for the best BBQ pizza ever....:circle-of-love:
 
Well when I finished reading the post Uncle has it pretty right on.... I do things a bit different but the same concept and his roux is spot on... and he is also correct in that it is all in the roux... you can mix up the rest of it and come out OK with using shrimp or chicken or your favorite sausage... I personally like it best with shrimp and sausage but sometimes I add all 3... again though... as long as you get the roux right... you pretty much can't screw up the rest....:circle-of-love:

For the sake of safety, everyone should be aware that roux is VERY HOT when cooking.
The stuff is like napalm if it splashes on you while hot so do be careful while cooking the roux. I should have mentioned this somewhere in the post.

The smell of gumbo cooking will usually draw in the neighbors like bugs to a light bulb. A 55 gallon drum should work just fine.
Have bong, will travel. Don't call me late for dinner if there's gumbo on the menu.

No, once they're pulled from the seed cabinets, they are cataloged into the system, given batch #, etc.
 
Hi ya Cajun, just breezing through to give you a holler....cataloging, batch numbers....sounds like you are dealing with auto parts....too funny, the business-ization of cannabis, what a trip......

Crazy. All the containers of every plant have this. It's part of the tracking from seed to sale. When the plant is harvested, all this info is transferred to the container in the dispensary that the bud is in. When the tag is scanned, you have immediate access to the entire history of the bud. It's commercial, but it's actually very cool. Plus, it beats writing it all down in a spiral notebook. Lol.
